Liu Zongyuan, one of the Eight Great Masters of the Tang and Song Dynasties, once recorded such a story in his collection of legendary novels "Dragon City Records":

During the Kaihuang period of the Sui Dynasty, a man went to Luofu, Guangdong to serve as an official.

One evening, he was resting in a wine shop. Suddenly, a beautiful woman with light makeup and plain clothes, exuding fragrance, came into the wine shop and drank happily with him.

There was a boy in green beside the beauty, laughing, singing and dancing to cheer them up.

The next day, when the man woke up, he found himself lying under a plum tree, with an emerald bird chirping on the tree.

This person's name is Zhao Shixiong.

At the same time, this story is also the origin of my pen name.

Because I am also a person like Zhao Shixiong who loves to dream.

"In the reign of Emperor Kai of the Sui Dynasty, Zhao Shixiong moved to Luofu. One day, when it was cold and dusk, he woke up from drunkenness. He was resting his servant car next to a wine shop in the pine forest. He saw a woman with light makeup and plain clothes who came out to surprise Shixiong. It was already dark and snowy. The moonlight was dim. Shixiong liked it and talked to him, but he felt that the fragrance was overwhelming and his words were very clear and beautiful. Because he locked the door of the restaurant with him, he got several cups and drank with each other. After a while, a boy in green clothes came and laughed and sang. The opera and dance can be seen from the inside. After a while, Shixiong was drunk and fell asleep, but he felt a cold wind blowing at him. After a while, the east became white. When Shixiong looked up, he saw that he was under a big plum blossom tree, with green feathers chirping and noisy. The moon is setting, but it’s just melancholy.”

It also tells a dream, but this story may not be as famous as "A Dream in Nankeyang" and "A Dream in Huangliang".

However, my favorite is the last sentence in the original story:

The moon is setting, but it’s just melancholy.

Just nine words express how much sadness and helplessness there is.

The digression ends here. Next I want to talk to you about this book.

This book was not an easy journey along the way, and I basically made all the mistakes that I should and should not make.

Fortunately, there are readers like you who can tolerate my mistakes. Knowing that someone will read the stories I write is the best motivation for me to write.

Thank you for your support and companionship over the past month. This book will be on the shelves after 12 noon on Monday.

So I'm sorry, the update in the early morning of tomorrow (Monday) will be suspended and will be changed to after 12 noon.

Due to hand speed and time constraints, I can basically only code four to five thousand words a day. By accumulating bit by bit, I now have more than 10,000 words of manuscripts saved.

After it goes on the shelves at noon on Monday, I will update four chapters with a total of 10,000 words. This is all the manuscripts I have saved so far, and the landlord’s family has no surplus food.

After that, I can only guarantee that I will update a minimum of two to four thousand words a day without interruption, and the update time will still be in the early morning every day.

I understand your desire to see more chapters, so on the premise of ensuring two updates a day, I try to exercise my hand speed, and every time I save enough chapters, I will post it in This chapter was also posted around 12 noon that day.

That’s all for the issues regarding post-launch updates. I still hope to get your support after the launch.

grateful!

Finally, I wish you a happy life, good health, smooth work and academic success.

That’s it for my introduction.

Thank you for seeing this.
