Li You was busy working for a while after arriving at the hotel. He was really a part-time worker. He said he wanted to take a vacation, but he still couldn't let go of that work.
After finally finishing it, Yu Mian broke up with a secret boyfriend and called her crying. Li You had to listen to her scolding until midnight.
After crying until the end, Yu Mian remembered to ask her: "How were you playing?"
"I haven't started playing yet."
"No romantic, forbidden encounters?"
"No."
Li You answered decisively, but Yu Mian was indeed a friend he had known for many years, and he still smelled something strange.
"Have fun, just have fun, don't be like me..."
As she talked, she got involved with her unspeakable boyfriend again. It was really not that Li You had no conscience. Counting on his fingers, Yu had broken up with the beautiful girl so many times in just three months. Which time did he break up again? It feels better.
The phone call lasted until early in the morning, and Li You couldn't stand it anymore, so he put down the phone and fell asleep.
This time, the scene in the dream changed. It was the mountain I was climbing tonight. The wind was blowing from behind me. No matter how hard I climbed, I couldn't reach the top of the mountain.
At the end of the dream, He An sat on the steps above and called her.
"Li You."
When I opened my eyes again, the sky was bright.
He An's voice seemed to still be there. Li You went to the bathroom and flushed her face with cold water. She had never dreamed of a stranger so frequently. It was really strange.
He didn't sleep well, and there were still some unsolved issues from last night's work. When Li You went downstairs, his face was not as bad as usual.
It was raining lightly outside, so she lit a cigarette under the eaves, put on her hat and walked to the supermarket opposite.
He An was having dinner with the boss in the back room of the supermarket. He had escaped there two days ago. He happened to be delivering goods today and had no choice but to stay.
The boss told him very deliberately about his niece, her height, her job, and her personality. Just as he was about to talk about her niece, someone called her from outside.
"Boss, check out."
Hearing this voice, He An took a look.
Most of Li You's face was covered by the hat, and all he could see was the slender lady's cigarette hanging in his mouth. The large coat could barely cover his legs, leaving the rest exposed.
The weather was a bit cold today, and his legs felt cold.
The boss came back after paying the bill and told He An what he had just said. He understood that he wanted to go on a blind date.
"Okay, uncle, I understand, I have time."
He An dealt with it and prepared to go back to work. When he went out, he found that Li You had not left yet, sitting on a bench under the steps and smoking, with a Red Bull can to catch the ashes next to him.
It was raining continuously and the streets were foggy. How long she sat there and how long He An watched.
It was raining heavily. He An took his umbrella from the back room. When he looked up, the bench was empty.
In the next few days, he passed by this street many times, seemingly accidentally or intentionally, and never met her again.
He An grew up here and knew who belonged to whose family on every street with his eyes closed. When Li You appeared out of thin air, he knew that this person did not belong here, so after realizing that she might be gone, he felt inexplicably relieved. Take a breath.
Late at night, the noise upstairs in the apartment became louder and louder, and the sound of the bed hitting the wall became more and more intense.
He An pushed away the probing hand on his stomach.
"It's time for me to go back."
The woman looked a bit incredible.
"What, are you wilted?"
"I'm a little tired of delivering goods today."
He An put on his shorts and went to the bathroom. She followed him there, leaning against the door frame with a half-smile.
"Generally, when a man says he's bored in bed, there must be another woman in his heart that's holding him back."
He An went to the toilet with his back to her, neither admitting nor denying it.
She wisely closed the door for him. In their relationship, they had a tacit understanding of not talking too much.
After taking a shower, the two of them didn't say hello as usual. He An got dressed, picked up the car keys and left.
It was already late, and there was no one else on the street except a drunkard. He rode a few laps on the road to catch the wind, and then went around to the bottom of the mountain.
Riding along the path, the mountain guard's dog was awakened and barked a few times, but there was no other sound.
He An parked his motorcycle at the foot of the steps, turned on his flashlight and climbed up one level at a time. He was halfway up when a figure suddenly appeared and almost made him roll down.
"What the fuck?"
The man's arms were resting on the steps behind him, a cigarette was held in one hand, and his legs were bent casually. He had obviously been looking at him for a while.
"Aren't you afraid of sudden death when you climb a mountain at night?"
