It started with my lumbar disc herniation in October last year, and then the kidney stones fell into the urethra and broke out from time to time until the stones were broken. The epidemic happened to break out, and I haven't been able to write more words. It was also from that time that the subscriptions continued to drop out. I think it’s not easy for me to finish writing this book completely without it ending!
After finishing it, of course I would like to express my gratitude to the readers who supported the original version. Your names are on the fan list. Thank you very much!
As for the new book, I have been very confused. At the beginning, I prepared several ideas.
One is the firearm system of the late Ming Dynasty, or the system text of the late Ming Dynasty. The protagonist travels through Chongzhen for about sixteen years, can exchange firearms, and embarks on the path of independence, self-reliance, and anti-imperialist and rebel thief.
One is to travel through the 28th year of Wanli, compete with Western missionaries, and finally become the disciple of Emperor Chongzhen and revive the Ming Dynasty. There is no system.
After preparing the plan and discussing in the group, I decided to write about Emperor Chongzhen.
However, during the preparation process, everything was going well at the beginning, but I found that I had no passion for taking this road of imperial examination.
Then one day I saw some movie clips from the Soviet Union's Great Patriotic War. The Red Army marched directly to the battlefield after the Red Square parade. When the Soviet Union's life and death were at stake, they resisted without sacrificing their lives in order to win. Suddenly, another idea came to my mind, that is, after the defeat of Songshan in the fifteenth year of Chongzhen, there was no system to help Chongzhen achieve ZTE.
I had the impulse and passion to write this, so I decided to write this. However, I have prepared it at the beginning, but haven’t typed it yet. I’m not sure how the new book will turn out in the end. What if the editor rejects it, right?
Some people may ask why I keep writing about Chongzhen.
There are two main reasons. First, the late Ming and early Qing dynasties were when China’s national destiny began to change. Since we are writing history, we must of course make up for historical regrets, and this, I think, is the biggest historical regret. Other historical dynasties are not as important as this time point.
The second reason is that I feel that Chongzhen worked hard throughout his life, at least his efforts, which I cannot achieve. But he eventually perished, and responded with one sentence: No matter how hard you try, you may not succeed. This is really a pity. Therefore, I want to help him. People who work hard should succeed. This can be regarded as making up for a regret!
Finally, I would like to thank you again for supporting the original version. Thank you very much for giving me a meal. I also hope to work full-time in the future!
