The new book "The Playing Game of Life" now has 40,000 words. Two chapters of 6,000 words are updated at 10 a.m. every day. It is still a seedling, but it can be chewed.
This book is still a game production article, but it is not an anti-routine. The general world view setting and framework are closer to "The Almighty Game Designer", and the plot will focus more on the protagonist rather than the group portraits.
The golden finger of this book is the title. The protagonist Lu Zhixing can obtain materials for making games by playing specific goals. Therefore, there may be some interesting (social) situations and unfavorable program effects.
The overall style is still light and humorous.
The content of the book is still mainly about making games. During this period, I made up for many messy games to ensure sufficient materials. We also try our best to write game content that is completely different from that in "Almighty Game Designer" and "Loss to Become a Richest Man".
All games are original games similar to "Loss to Become a Richest Man", without copying elements. Of course, prototypes of the games will be written to make some recommendations to everyone.
In the process of making games, some life-like plots will also be interspersed, as well as branches in other fields, such as movies, songs, stage plays, extreme sports and other derivative plots surrounding the game content.
In short, it can be regarded as a new attempt in the direction of game design.
As for why I didn’t write Richest Man 2.
In fact, I tried to write the beginning of Two Richest Man 2, but after thinking about it afterwards I was not very satisfied. Including the first game at the beginning of the new book, I originally wanted to write it in an anti-routine way, but anti-routine writing and reading would cause strong aesthetic fatigue, so I finally gave up on the anti-routine writing method.
If the response to this book is good, we may consider including it in Tengda Universe in the future. If the response is average, forget it. Of course, as a game design book, I believe it should be good to read.
In short, this new content really consumes a lot of brain cells, I hope you all like it!
