A New Year’s letter to book friends

The tough guy Chandler once said, "A writer lives to write." If this sentence is true, then I am obviously a bad writer. I am always lazy and slack off. I have a lot of reasons and a sack full of excuses. .

But, I am still writing, reading and living.

Over the past three years, I have felt love and gratitude from the bottom of my heart for every reader who has read this book. Just like a lonely tourist looking up at the stars in the desert, your existence is of great significance.

The interconnection between words creates stories, and the interconnection between people creates life itself.

There are ups and downs, and what happens to every character in the book is a kind of accidental creation to the plot of the novel. Sometimes the author is just affected by the character and is the character's marionette.

Sometimes I will be a gentle author who cannot bear to lead the characters to destruction. Sometimes the pen I hold is cruel and indifferent, just to show the inevitability of fate.

Writing, life, can be scary at times, but hopeless at times.

This may still be the case in the future. These past few years have not been easy for everyone. Perhaps because of this, we need to read more.
