A New Year’s letter to book friends

To my readers who have always supported and encouraged me:

[Reviewing the creative stories in 2022] The years are like a splendid journey, and every year comes again and again. At the beginning of Chonglan, the moon rises, and the scenery of Qingluo is continuous and peaceful. In the past year, I have written a lot of stories that I am interested in. Although I have not finished them due to time constraints, the number of updated words has increased compared with previous years...

I have been wanting to create a story around intangible cultural heritage for a long time. This time it coincides with the essay competition. It is the most memorable thing in this year. I hope I can take this opportunity to do well.

"A Shuttle Thousand Years" is getting longer and longer. I expected it to be about 200,000 words, but now it seems that I am rushing to 300,000 words. So far, the two novels I tried this year, "Qingluo Jinghe" and "Chonglan Sees the Moon Again" It's okay, but it's a pity that I've been too busy recently and can't keep up with the updates. The next two novels may have to be updated weekly until June before they can be serialized stably.

So for the fans of "Chonglan Sees the Moon Again" and "Qingluo Jinghe", I am really sorry for this. If you like them, just put them on your bookshelf to collect dust, and wait until I finish them.

In terms of my personal creative plan, after "A Thousand Years of Shuttle", there will be many books with intangible cultural heritage as the core. Regardless of whether there are essay competitions and awards, I will continue to work on them.

The follow-up work will basically focus on short stories. As I write longer stories, I will get bored with my own outline... and lose interest. (When I write, my interests come first, including my topic selection.)
