"How can you subdue your mind? Just when you think about it, you can become a Buddha with just one thought and become a demon with just a thought!"
Feng Yu had some insights and said what he was thinking unhurriedly.
Realizing that many innocent eyes were falling on him, his cheeks became slightly hot, because those children would make beautiful sounds praising him.
“In what subtle secular language should we use to express the Buddha’s clear understanding and understanding?”
I don’t know who asked this question, but the words just came from the figures of the children. The person being questioned was Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, but the Bodhisattva just showed a quiet, speechless smile as pure as a lotus.
The children were stunned for a moment, unable to restrain themselves from imagining an ancient scene: the World Honored One once held flowers in front of the crowd at the Lingshan Assembly. At that time, everyone was silent except for the Venerable Kassapa with a broken face and a smile.
The light from the lotus flowers all over the city shines on their lovely faces, and their voices are as light as the sounds of heavenly songs whirling in the void.
“Words cut off the truth, it’s up to you to realize it yourself.”
"How to explain the Buddha's correct views in subtle secular language so that sentient beings can understand them. Whether they understand the truth or not is another matter.
Just like when the master leads the door, cultivation is up to the individual. I think all sentient beings need to have a full understanding of Buddhist principles. 'Enlightenment' really depends on their own character and actual practice.
Words express Buddhist insights, but the Tao is in the heart, and it is not words that can cut off the Tao.
What can cut off the Tao is the hearts of sentient beings, and there is no Tao heart in the heart. The Tao is in the heart! All dharmas are created only by the mind. If the Tao in the mind is destroyed, all dharmas will not arise. "
"If you believe that you are a Buddha, you will see the Buddha's cognition. The Buddha's cognition is your own original mind, which is the true nature, which is the Buddha nature. It is connected with the concept of Tao Mind as you mentioned.
If you don’t understand, raise your awareness and understand what Buddha is? What is true nature? "
"But the true self-nature is originally nothing and cannot be explained at all. Everything in our lives is influenced by it. This true self-nature has no coming and going and is neither birth nor death. How can we explain it in subtle secular language? ?”
When everyone was silent, the gentle breeze swayed like dancing lotus flowers.
Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, who has no form but has a body, emits bright precious light all over his body, and the golden morning sun shines in all directions of the Children's City.
Fengyu was stunned, and found that his hand was penetrated by the light of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. The light illuminated his heart, and he felt a free joy that could not be given by ordinary things, and the corners of his mouth couldn't help rising.
Those children had the same feelings as him. These feelings were like "The Buddha once held flowers and showed them to the people at the Lingshan meeting. At that time, everyone was silent, but the Venerable Kassapa smiled."
The pure and flawless children, who were like snow lotuses, lowered their heads silently, nodding, lowering their eyebrows, and clasping their hands together with pious and compassionate expressions. At this time, because they had observed the Buddha within themselves, the Buddha nature appeared, and their hearts were warm and warm. They could not help but express their feelings towards Kasyapa. The same indifferent smile.
Fengyu suddenly realized what it meant, and finally understood the meaning of "the true self-nature is originally nothing and cannot be explained at all."
"There is nothing in the first place, so where is the dust? How can we explain it in subtle and easy-to-understand language?"
The children murmured in unison, and their solemn and special words were as beautiful as the sounds of Panle at the Dharma ceremony.
“The true self-nature is originally pure and clear, but it is the delusional minds and thoughts generated by worldly beings that obscure the true self-nature.
Not only does it fail to see the true nature, but it also fails to see that time and space are illusions, and there is no point in doing so.
The Tao is in the heart, and all dharmas are born in the heart. How to seek the dharma and ask questions? To seek the supreme wisdom that proves all truths? "
Although he could not understand it thoroughly, Fengyu felt an indescribable and wonderful feeling in his heart, and he felt very shocked. It was even more unbelievable that those were the questions asked by a group of children.
The children's eyes are filled with the brilliant light of the morning sun, their bodies are white and silver, and their skin is pure, moist and exquisitely clear.
I don't know what their names are, but Fengyu's eyes just fell on them quietly and couldn't move away, watching them kneel down at the feet of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva with piety and humility.
"If you want to achieve Buddha's wisdom, you should make up your mind to visit all people who truly possess Bodhi wisdom. This is the minimum condition for obtaining all truth and wisdom.
If you don't know how to cultivate your own wisdom roots, you won't be able to raise your mind to seek all truth and wisdom.
The so-called initiating thoughts to seek for Bodhi wisdom means initiating great compassion to save all sentient beings and free them from suffering.
We should develop a broad sense of charity and protect all sentient beings in the world equally and without distinction, so that they can live happily.
It is necessary to activate the mind of peace and happiness, so that all sentient beings can be happy in body and mind, and eliminate the troubles and pains such as love and hate, separation, birth, old age, illness and death.
We must initiate the desire to benefit all sentient beings and keep all sentient beings away from bad and intolerant understandings.
Initiate compassion to protect and comfort those who have fear and fear in their hearts.
It is necessary to initiate the integration of the free mind, so as to be able to abandon all cognitive deviations.
It is necessary to activate the vast and immeasurable mind, and be able to travel in all dimensions and worlds without any hindrance.
We must develop a broad mind and be able to see all Tathagatas without distinction.
It is necessary to initiate an untainted mind without any doubts, so that there will be no obstacles or doubts in the past, present and future at all times.
To initiate the mind of wisdom, one can enter the vast and boundless realm of Buddha’s wisdom.
These are all ways to enter the Bodhi Path from a broad perspective.
The nature of the mind is neither inside nor outside, and at the same time it is not in between. Just as the nature of their hearts is neither inside nor outside, nor between inside and outside at the same time, so is the nature of sin and dirt; so is the nature of all dharmas, which are nothing more than the manifestation of true reality.
Delusion is dirt, but no delusion is purity; confusion is dirt, and lack of confusion is purity; attachment to self-image is dirt, and non-attachment to self-image is purity.
All dharmas arise, die, and change without ceasing to be thought of, like phantoms, like lightning; all dharmas arise, die, and change without waiting for conditions, so that they do not stop even for a moment of thought;
All dharmas are people's false views. They are like illusions, like sun flames, like the moon in water, and like reflections in mirrors. They are all caused by the delusions of sentient beings.
If the true self-nature is nothing, how can it be explained in subtle yet easy-to-understand language?
Look at the lotus in my hand. "
A pure white lotus with budding petals and golden green leaves transforms into the left hand of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, releasing scattered crystal colors.
The Bodhisattva made the same move as the World Honored One once did at the Lingshan Assembly, holding flowers and showing them to the crowd. The crowd was silent at the time, and all the spectators present smiled, and golden light emitted from the palms of his clasped hands.
The Tao is in the heart, and all dharmas are created only by the mind. If the Tao in the heart is destroyed, all dharmas will not arise; just like the Buddha is in the heart, one can see the Buddha within oneself.
Although the true self-nature is nothing, it cannot be seen or touched, but it can be understood and searched for. With the Tao in your heart, all dharmas will arise. If you observe the Buddha within yourself, you will see that you are a Buddha.
Compassion and love are the true expression of one's own nature. Being able to understand that all sentient beings are suffering is also the true one's true nature. Saving them from suffering is also the true one's true self. These are all sincere.
Do you have 'sincerity'? "
Everyone was silent, even slightly stunned.
The gentle breeze blew through Feng Yu's hair, blowing away the sorrow that had been in his mind.
He whispered: "Treat others sincerely." His voice was so low that only he could hear it.
Now that he thinks back to all the things he has experienced in the past and the harm done to him by those sentient beings, his eyes will no longer turn red. His eyes are as bright and clear as a pool of snow water, and he only feels that he is like a gentle and warm breeze at this moment.
"It's so simple. We obviously have it, but we just didn't notice it before."
A child's cute voice came from the crowd.
"However, sincerity can also be betrayed, hurt and used."
Feng Yu blurted out unconsciously, but an unprecedented feeling of heat and warmth arose in his chest, and he did not feel sad.
"Is your Taoist heart firm now?"
Because of his compassion, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva can empathize with Fengyu.
"I serve the common people, and I will live up to them!" Feng Yu repeated what he had said in a nonchalant and indifferent tone.
"If the people fail you, will you still be gentle and compassionate to them as always?"
The children listened to these profound words and couldn't help but open their eyes wide, because they found that they had never thought about this problem, and they felt lonely and regretful for their hesitation and wavering mentality.
"Love is always there." Feng Yu said this clearly and lightly.
The listeners who were sitting quietly among the lotus flowers were so moved that their faces turned red, and some even couldn't help but burst into tears.
