In addition, there is no communication with the outside world in the mountains. It does not know that there is Emperor Zhou. It is also unclear that there were countries in the Spring and Autumn Period that did not understand anything about the outside world. Even they themselves were not recorded in any dynasty documents.
If there is no enemy force, this closed state can last for thousands of years. However, it happened that King Qin Huiwen sent arrogant soldiers to attack Shu. Their country was located on the marching route, and the total population of Yeshu Kingdom was only 100,000. Man, the total strength of the troops guarding Emperor Ye Shu was only ten thousand. They were armed with vine escape machetes, bone spears and stone clubs, and had no combat effectiveness at all.

Outside, the Qin army was already in full formation, standing on the hills, with only flags and drums to give orders. The brave general's roar shook the sky, and the military discipline was strict.
Such a scene was so frightening that the Yefu royal family trembled in fear. They no longer dared to be arrogant and rude. The Yefu emperor, who was as courteous as a villain in front and behind, put his hands in front of him and said good things to the generals of the Qin army. He bluntly said that if they were given one night, they would definitely conquer the territory of the country. Clean it up and let them cross the border safely.
When the time came the next day, the Qin army was afraid that there was a deceit in the country, so they sent cavalry into the Yefeng Kingdom first. They thought that the royal people of the Yefeng Kingdom would wait respectfully, but unexpectedly the entire country was empty, and there was no one in the city. The animals have completely disappeared, and the bustling Yefeng Kingdom has become full of coffins and corpses, just like the city has been destroyed and the country has been destroyed. Countless flying insects hide in the shadow of the broken walls, constantly gnawing at the corpses.
It is impossible to say that they escaped. The Qin army was afraid that they would cause trouble and had blocked the exit of the country. It was surrounded by mountains and it was difficult to travel. Once so many people escaped, they would definitely not be able to leave a trace of movement. Later, the Qin army discovered There are many flying insects on the border. The dense flying insects cover the sky and hover in the sky, waiting for the army to land on the border.
None of them knew where the hundreds of thousands of citizens had gone. After crossing the border, it was already dark. When these generals looked back, they saw that the country had returned to its bustling and brightly lit state.
Some people said that they saw a ghost beating the wall, while others said that they accidentally entered the country of Fang, a mountain spirit. They only understood after Wu Xian explained.
This ancient country was so primitively dressed that it was probably a remnant barbarian country that was defeated in ancient times. Their citizens drank hair, drank blood, and killed all living beings. Because they were stubborn and refused to accept the teachings of Kyushu, they were demoted to the southwest by the emperor of the time. The scale-horned insect, which grows hair and drinks blood, cannot be liberated in life after life. During the day, it turns into an earth insect. Once it is exposed to the sun, it will fly away and be annihilated. It can only appear at night to feed on corpse wax.
Wu Xian also bluntly said that it was fortunate that the Qin army did not cross the border. These night insects need to forage at night. Any living people they encounter will use illusions to keep them in Fang Kingdom as food. The many corpses they see are countless lost people. Left behind by farmers and business travelers in the mountains!
The so-called waiting one night is just a tactic to lure the enemy. Once the Qin army cannot restrain its curiosity and crosses the border at night, then these hundreds of thousands of Qin soldiers will become food for the Earthworm tribe, and their souls will also turn into Earthworms, which they can only eat for the rest of their lives. The flesh-rotting bugs were destroyed by their eggs and died in just one month.
The Qin army kept its promise and was a righteous military discipline, so it could avoid such unreasonable disasters. If it were a group of mountain bandits and refugees, their bones would have been chewed clean by now.
This story has been included in the folklore of Shu and recorded in the tombs of princes in Shu. It is used to praise the king of Qin's follow-through of heaven in destroying Shu.

Song Siyuan had the same idea as Yue Qingshan. Myths and legends often reflect historical events. Combined with the records of King Qin Huiwen's destruction of Bashu, she seemed to understand the reason: "I understand, the Qin army is likely to be marching. I came across a destroyed city, covered with corpses and earthworms, so I made up this story in order to occupy the righteousness of heaven."
"There are no distinctions between witches and gods in Shu. The King of Shu is also the high priest of Shu. Their purpose is to tell the people of Shu that King Qin has been favored by heaven and brought enlightenment to ancient Shu. This is to benefit the people, even the capital of Shanjingfang. If you want to make way for the master of the king, you can rest assured and be the subjects of King Qin. As for the royal family of the King of Shu in the ancient tree, as long as they do not resist the education and will not touch them, it is still okay to give them an Anlehou to support them in their old age!"
