Xiechie Ridge, Xishan, Plank Road

The plank road grottoes have been carved for I don’t know how many years. The cracks in the stone have cracked, and the spring water has made the surface as smooth as a mirror. Some low-lying stone pits even have spring water accumulated and are covered with moss.

In the dark environment, there are often rats, rabbits, snakes and scorpions lurking in the dark. They suddenly emerge from the rocks and make a few strange screams.

Yue Guanchao turned on his flashlight and looked in the direction. Every once in a while, there would be stone niches carved into the inner wall of the plank road.

These stone niches are not exquisite at all, but more primitive and rough with hammers, chisels and axes. The gods enshrined in them are mountain ghosts the size of arms!

The only exception is the green glass bead inlaid on the top of the stone niche. When the sunlight from the stone window on the outer wall of the tunnel illuminates the mountain ghost statue, it shines green. Accompanying it are the mysterious seal characters on the left and right sides of the niche. Looks very ghostly.

"Brother Yue, is this mountain ghost alive?"

Aying looked at Xianshangui's deep and strange eyes, and unconsciously shrank her neck.

Of course Yue Guanchao didn't know what was going on. He looked at Song Siyuan with pleading eyes. She smiled knowingly and explained:

"I think this place should be a tunnel dug by the ancestors of Sushen. These shrines are just used by them to express their emotions, just like the Taishan stone placed on the back wall after the house is completed is used as a sacred tablet, just a kind of prayer. means."

"However, this tunnel is indeed quite old. It must be thousands of years since a pool appeared on a mountain like this."

"That's good."

After being away from the heat and depression of the outside world, they felt a touch of coolness. They walked and talked without feeling tired. When they turned around a few mountain bays and stepped down the stone steps, the hazy white light at the end of the plank road was very close.

They walked out of the plank road in one go, and their eyes suddenly opened up!

Yue Guanchao looked up, and saw the hazy sky above his head. However, they were already at the bottom of the Xiezhe Ridge cliff. After the sky was covered by dense vegetation, it was like dusk and night, and they could only distinguish the direction.

"Look, these seem to be those strange corpses."

Lu Fengjian was looking around with a flashlight. There were many corpses scattered along the river beach. Some corpses were accidentally hung on the trees at the bottom of the cliff. The liver and gallbladder were hanging all over the branches and flowing all over the ground.

Yue Guanchao picked up the wooden stick and poked the body a little, and nodded to everyone: "It seems that the top is connected to the bottom of the cliff. We are in the right place. As long as we go towards the waterfall, we can probably find the altar."

"Let's go!"

They walked along the river at the bottom of the cliff towards the waterfall. The closer they got to the waterfall, the more they could feel the chasm getting wider!

After thousands of years of erosion at the bottom of the cliff, new river channels have been opened up. Countless river beaches have been washed out by tributaries and oases are dotted at the bottom of the cliff like pastries.

When they came to the end of the river beach, mysterious and primitive stone statues suddenly appeared on the mountain walls on both sides.

The statue resembles a human face as a whole, with straight eyes, a high nose, slightly parted lips, a mysterious smile, a three-dimensional face, a horn hair crown on its head, and sun and moon earrings on its left and right ears.

The whole building is slightly larger than the small building, and the whole body is inlaid with red copper sheets. Perhaps because of its age, the copper sheets are rusty, like green spots on the human face, exuding an ancient and mysterious atmosphere!

The two statues are opposite each other, like giant gods holding up the sky, guarding the totem gate that appeared in "The Secret of Zu Xian".

Yue Guanchao and the others looked far into the distance. The totem gate was more majestic than they expected. A word popped out of his mind unconsciously:

"Heaven's Gate"!

The entire totem gate has the sky as the lintel, the ground as the threshold, and the east and west mountain walls as two frames, filling all the gaps between the mountains. The total width is more than ten feet!

If you look closely, you will see that the main body of the altar door is a huge rock.

The surface of this stone is carved with two layers of concentric stone rings. Five-color stone pillars are evenly riveted between the stone rings, and giant grooves are carved out and covered with red gold and copper sheets.

From this, the yellow and golden copper pieces were spliced together to form the outline of the altar door, and at the same time, it also added a gorgeous and mysterious background to the Tianmen!

Above the Tianmen, there are totems of the sun and yin on the left and right, representing the rising in the east and setting in the west. The twenty-eight stars are inlaid with glass on the top and bottom. The outlines of each star are connected with gold wires to collect the ancient stars. A red eye is wrapped around it in all directions. A dragon with stone and gold scales and horns.

They meander between the heavenly gates, like stone gate beasts, frightening all creatures that come to cause trouble.

The highlight is still at Tianmen Center!

A huge bull-headed golden crow hangs here, like a five-layered tower, standing in front of people.

The Golden Crow has been a symbol of the sun since ancient times, hence the name "Red Crow". It is one of the sacred birds in ancient Chinese myths and legends.

Look carefully, you can see that the bull-headed Golden Crow with majestic horns and fire-like eyes spreads out its Kunpeng wings, covering the sun and moon to the left and right of the Tianmen under its wings. The feathers on its body are clearly defined and every detail is visible. It glares coldly and looks majestic and ferocious, just like The prehistoric Golden Crow God really turned into a patron saint, guarding this rare underground altar in the world!

The three sharp hooves and claws of the Golden Crow turned into arches and served as the only exit of the altar.

Song Siyuan looked at the huge thing in front of her, unconsciously picked up the camera and put it into the film.

"Is this the door to the altar?"

Ah Ying looked forward, curiosity flashing in her eyes.
