"Huh~"
Finally finished the fourth volume!
When I was writing this volume, I was holding back too many things in my heart, and I wanted to express them to my book friends.
But these inner words have always been suppressed in my heart, for fear that they will affect the reading experience of book friends.
it's good now.
Finished writing the plot of Volume 4.
Finally I can have a good chat with everyone.
Therefore, this summary at the end of the volume and preview of the new volume will be a very long one.
Everyone should be mentally prepared first. You can watch it or not watch it.
But I still hope everyone will read it patiently.
Let me also show you the psychological journey when creating this volume.
Okay, without the hydrology, let’s start with the summary.
The text of this volume has 377,000 words.
The detailed outline contains 69,000 words.
It is also the main text and outline of the book, and the volume that has been written the most.
Of course, there are some scrapped drafts in the middle, as well as some long-winded plots that I deleted, which are not included.
Otherwise, the detailed outline may exceed 80,000 words.
A detailed outline of 80,000 words is just for writing one volume.
This is a huge challenge for me, and it is also the first time I have experienced such a creation.
So you will see that when I wrote the fourth volume, it was the volume with the most interruptions.
There was even a break in updates for more than 3 months.
Fortunately, I survived.
Let’s review the plot of Volume 4 again.
In fact, in the conception, this volume mainly focuses on three time nodes.
They are now, 3 months later and half a year later.
Right now, in the book, it's April.
What I write mainly is a main line.
It can also be said to be the main plot of the first half of the Blue Star chapter.
That is, the big demons go out of the Kunlun Mountains to occupy famous mountains and rivers.
In this main line, what is mainly talked about is how each big demon conquers the mountains and rivers, and how to break through to the Qingshan realm.
And how to create bonds with human practitioners or ordinary people.
All of this must be written down as a foreshadowing for the climax of the fifth volume.
In addition, there is a hidden line here.
It was An Chen who led students one by one to walk in the Kunlun Mountains and see his vision of the green mountains.
But this part of the plot is not described in detail, but interspersed throughout.
When I was conceiving this part of the plot, the picture that appeared in my mind was like this...
An Chen left the village with one student at a time to walk in the Kunlun Mountains.
As they walked through a stream, a forest, a mountain, or a flower bed.
The great demons who have gone out to the outside world are also occupying the mountains and rivers.
For example, when An Chen and Xiao Qing walked through a stream.
Liu Siji fought with Xie Shixiu on Wangwu Mountain.
An Chen and Xiao Bai were walking through a flower garden.
Ah Li was on Tiantai Mountain, frightening the practitioners sitting there.
And Anchen and Xiaomei were walking across a bridge.
The white goat also transformed into a human on the top of Huashan Mountain and defeated the practitioners sitting there.
Then the camera turned.
Xiaoqing returned to the village, sat next to the dragon egg, and whispered something. Ahri sat next to her, eating.
Then An Chen took Guai Guai to sit on the grass and bask in the sun.
At this time, the red-crowned crane went to Laojun Mountain and defeated Guo Yunxiao with its mouth.
In this way, time passed and three months passed.
I quite like this way of writing, and I think it will be very graphic.
So I wrote it, which can be regarded as a new exploration and attempt.
I also think that each volume can bring you a different, interesting and fresh reading experience.
Otherwise, if you write a routine, it will be very boring, and everyone will lose their energy while watching it.
The writing method of this volume is actually improved on the basis of the second volume [Kyushu Rebellion], which can be regarded as some progress.
Of course, I hope that this way of writing will bring you a less confusing reading experience than the second volume.
If so, I can only smile and apologize.
Fortunately.
The development of each big monster coming out of the mountain has the desired feeling.
At least the story of how the main big demon conquered the mountains and rivers has been written down.
Such as Ahri.
For example, Liu Siji.
Such as giant ground sloth, little white rabbit, golden monkey, white-tusked elephant, cheetah, fat orange cat and other big monsters.
As for the mountains and rivers captured by other big demons, there are too many.
It’s impossible to cover everything.
It’s impossible to actually write it down, otherwise it would be too watery.
So I can only choose some interesting monsters and stories with different personalities to write.
Therefore, one-third of the plot of the fourth volume revolves around the great demons taking over the mountains and rivers and seeing the green mountains.
And 3 months later.
This is the main storyline in the book in August.
That is to say, from being a great demon coming out of the mountains, to being able to establish a sect and recruit many disciples.
The main plot of this part is actually mainly about the bonds between the great demons, practitioners, and ordinary people.
There are also seeds of awakening in the Dragon Kingdom that have entered the Kunlun Taoist sect and become part of the future war.
Therefore, the main perspective of this part of the plot is on practitioners and ordinary people in the outside world.
It also fits the theme of this volume, the human world.
In the vast world of mortals, there are hidden appearances of all living beings.
Even looking at it as a whole, this volume is about the story of the great demon and the people in the outside world. It must be written as a foreshadowing for the fifth volume.
When writing this volume, too many details were laid out.
Maybe people will jump over it directly and ignore those small details.
But in detail.
An Chen took Xiaoqing, Xiaobai, Ah Li and others to walk in the Kunlun Mountains, and then returned to the village. The conversations that took place were all meaningful.
Also, the foreshadowing of some small details is also related to the direction of the plot later.
For example: a reunion dinner, a piece of plum blossom cake, a white hyacinth, a snow pear, a bowl of plum soup, etc. are all foreshadowing.
In addition, the name of Kyushu was chosen after a lot of research.
Also, for each mountain and which state it corresponds to, I first found information and then wrote it out.
Doing this really consumes my hair and energy, which has led to me now being bald (laughs).
Just thinking about the plot and characters takes a whole morning every day.
But it's all worth it.
The finer it is polished, the more immersive the text will be, giving everyone an immersive reading experience.
Also, while writing this volume.
Every time I write a chapter, I tell myself, don't worry, write out all the plots that need to be written, and lay out every detail.
You really can't be in a hurry, you have to write patiently.
If you are anxious, the content you write in a hurry will definitely be distorted, and it will also affect the direction of the subsequent story.
Therefore, writing the fourth volume was really painful.
It’s that torturous feeling where you know clearly that the fifth volume will be exciting, and you can’t wait to write it and share it with everyone, but you’re not there yet, so you can only hold on and write every character and every plot.
It is also real pain and happiness.
As for the plot half a year later, in February, there is no detailed description.
Instead, it ends with a show of sentient beings.
This was already conceived.
It ends with Xiaoqing condensing Wanlong's aura and Anchen saying "Classmates, get out of class is over."
This volume as a whole has a relatively high degree of completion.
If I were to give it a score, I'd give it a 6.5.
Regardless of the completion of the plot, the main reason is that the updates are too slow.
It took one year and one month to update 370,000 words, which is too slow.
So, a few points have to be deducted here.
but!
If you read this volume in one sitting, it should be quite good.
Give yourself a pat on the back for finally insisting on finishing this volume.
And from [Kunlun Mountain], to [Jiuzhou Chaos], to [Leaping Dragon Gate], to [The Human World].
The plot of the first four volumes of Blue Star contains more than 930,000 words of foreshadowing!
Just to welcome the climax of the fifth volume!
It is also the biggest climax of the Blue Star chapter!
All the foreshadowings, foreshadowings and details that you have ignored before will be revealed in the fifth volume!
So, here, I invite readers from all over the world to take a look!
No matter which platform you read the book on, please come online and subscribe to the fifth volume!
Because this volume is carefully prepared by me as a visual feast for all of you readers!
I'm writing a story.
A story with ups and downs, twists and turns, laughter, touching moments and sadness.
A story that makes me burst into tears every time I open the outline or details and look at the set plot, each character and the ending!
And I believe that the story in Volume 5 will make everyone like and be satisfied!
So, please accompany me to welcome the fifth volume!
The title of the fifth volume is called [War in All Directions]!
The preface I gave to this volume is only one sentence, eight words.
[Bless our dragon kingdom forever! ! ! 】
As for how many points this volume can get, it’s up to you to comment after it’s finished!
I am responsible for writing it, and you can just read it.
I also hope that after this volume ends, everyone can type these eight words in the comment area.
If anything, it is everyone’s greatest recognition for the fifth volume and for me as a street writer. Thank you!
I don't know how much you like this book.
But I really like it very much, and I also love every character and every plot in the book.
I even think that I could write a story about each character in the book, because they are really interesting.
I wrote every sentence and every word in this book very carefully.
It also took me 13 months to complete this volume.
Although there has been no update for several months, and there are still a few months left, the update is only a few thousand words.
But this volume really put all my efforts, attention, energy and time into it.
Every plot was written after careful consideration.
Every detail is polished hard to present the most perfect picture.
There are even times when I can't think of the plot behind it, and I would rather stop and not update it until I have a good idea of the plot before I write anything.
Therefore, this volume is very complete.
I thought I couldn't get over this hurdle.
Looking back now, I can see that the boat has passed the Ten Thousand Mountains.
It is precisely because of this belief and persistence.
That’s why, after a three-month hiatus, updates were resumed, even though the number of 24-hour subscriptions had dropped to 20 or 30.
Even if there are no updates, the total manuscript fee for the three months is only 4,000 yuan.
Even if this book never has perfect attendance and benefits in the future.
I didn't lose heart, I still put 100% enthusiasm into writing every plot and every character.
Because I know that those 30 readers who follow me are the ones I need to cherish.
I also know that more book friends will come in to read later.
Therefore, I am working hard to write each plot well, carefully write each character, and tell this story with all my heart to every book lover, so as to live up to every penny you spend.
If everyone laughs, is moved, has fun, and has aftertaste while reading, that will be my greatest recognition, thank you.
Let me tell you again, there are almost no typos in every chapter of this book.
Because after I finish the update, I will read it several times and look for typos and bugs as soon as possible.
So everyone will feel comfortable reading it.
This is one of the things I can do in return for everyone.
Some readers said that I am too plot-oriented.
In fact, the real water plot is not like this, but a little bit here and a little bit there.
This book, to paraphrase a Chinese teacher in my high school who commented on a perfect essay I wrote, is that the form is scattered but the spirit is not separated!
Yes!
Whether it is the plot of Longmen Academy, the plot of Cave Heaven Paradise, or the plot of Zhen'an Division, they are all driving the development of the plot.
If I need water, I can write hundreds of thousands of words about Longmen University alone.
The fifty batches of students, 502 students, all have their own stories and their own growth experiences.
And every big monster in the Kunlun Mountains. If I really wanted to know more about them, I could write hundreds of thousands of words about them leaving the Kunlun Mountains, going to the outside world, occupying the mountains and rivers, and transforming into humans.
There are also Cave Heaven Paradise, I only wrote two places.
Qingtian Cave and Juqu Cave are representatives.
The other situations of Cave Heaven and Paradise are briefly mentioned.
The plot here, if you really want it, could be written in hundreds of thousands of words.
But is it necessary?
No need!
Whether it is Longmen Academy or Cave Heaven Paradise, it is just to promote the development of the plot and move towards the climax.
By the way, let everyone understand why there is Longmen Academy, who is there, and what is in Cave Heaven Paradise.
To be honest, I really thought about writing every character.
In that case, when the fifth volume comes out, it will definitely be interesting.
But it's just interesting.
It is actually very unfriendly to the reading experience.
Because it's long, procrastinating, not concise, and not crisp, it looks boring.
Therefore, when I was conceiving each plot, I thought about why it appeared and what its significance was.
I even considered why this character appeared, how to arrange the subsequent scenes, what kind of growth trajectory there will be in the world...etc., etc., these all need to be conceived in advance.
Every character must have a soul, so that it is not a waste of pen and ink.
Therefore, I am very confident in controlling the plot of this book!
Even if it reaches 2 million or 3 million words, the story still hasn’t collapsed, and it won’t collapse!
Because, when the body is separated, the spirit remains!
What’s more, every time I write a volume, I will make a detailed outline!
Even every chapter written will have a detailed outline of about 500 words!
There is a very clear main line in the Blue Star chapter, which is the opening of the protagonist's eyes.
When it comes to the Ten Thousand Worlds chapter, there is also a very clear main line.
As long as this main line does not collapse, the story will not fall apart.
Of course.
I watched "Rebirth: Urban Cultivation" by Shili Sword God, and saw that after Chen Fan left the earth, he was unable to continue writing.
The Sword God boss also said in the book that he doesn’t know how the subsequent plot will unfold.
Also, I watched "The Holy King" by Meng Ruishenji, and it was mentioned that after the prince died, the tension was not so great.
When I was reading these books, I was reflecting on why so many of them lost a group of readers when they opened new maps.
There is also a problem that many authors face. Subscriptions will be lost when opening a map.
Of course, my idol's 'I Eat Tomatoes' is different, and the rhythm master cannot be compared.
Then when I was writing The Great Sage, I started to think about this issue after writing more than 20 chapters.
Because this book also has a very serious problem.
That is, the protagonist opens his eyes, which is the biggest climax of the book.
What about after the orgasm is over?
What about the plot behind it?
How to write it?
After the protagonist and the big monsters leave Blue Star and go to the world, what should they write?
This brings up a question of expectations.
When writing, I pay great attention to the sense of substitution and expectation.
For example, everyone here looks like Yan Zu at least.
The sense of anticipation reflects the tension of the plot and the story that readers want to finish.
Well, I have to mention an idol here, I eat tomatoes (tomatoes).
Why do so many Tomato books have dead heroines? The heroine was kidnapped?
The heroine was not resurrected until the finale?
It’s because the people closest to you can maximize readers’ expectations for the plot.
When I watched "Star Change" in high school, I looked forward to it, that the male protagonist and the female protagonist would be together soon.
And when they really got together, they realized it was the finale.
This is an example of expected value.
Similar is the three-year agreement for "Fights Break the Sphere".
Crisis on Earth in "Swallowing Stars" and more.
Therefore, it is not easy to keep readers' expectations for a book.
Back to the book.
I started thinking about this issue more than 20 chapters ago.
It wasn't until more than 70 chapters in that I had an idea and came up with a more perfect solution.
The next fifth volume is to verify whether my method is right or wrong.
It's said to be a verification, but it doesn't really count.
Because this book wants to continue writing after the protagonist opens his eyes, and there is still a plot to write, it must, must take this path!
There is no second way to go!
I can't spoil it yet.
But what I can say is...
"This book may not be a qualified novel, but it should be a qualified story."
Yes.
When I put it on the shelf, I said that I was writing a story for this book.
It’s a story that after reading it, the corners of your mouth can still lift slightly when you recall it many years later.
A story that many years ago can still remind you of some interesting characters in the book.
If I can do that, it will be a success for this book and an honor for me as the author.
Speaking of which, the ending of this book also gave me some inspiration.
The finale of that book, after reading it, really impressed me and gave me goosebumps.
Endless aftertaste!
So follow the clichés of the great masters and thank them for writing such an excellent book.
As for me, I hope everyone can feel that way after reading the finale of this book.
Haha, anyway, every time I see the last sentence in the outline, eight words, I will shout "Fuck!" Damn it!
I must write it down!
Write it for everyone to read!
Wonderful!
Of course, those are just eight words.
But it requires 3 million words or even 4 million words to pave the way!
Just like the protagonist's appearance, a full 930,000 words have been laid out!
This is also the first time I have written a behind-the-scenes story, which has laid the foundation for four volumes, and the protagonist has not yet entered the world to show off.
This is actually not very friendly to book lovers who want to see the protagonist appear in front of others.
In addition, at the beginning of this book, there were actually two paths, two directions of development.
First, write an invincible novel so that your spiritual energy can be revived as soon as possible. The protagonist’s students will defeat invincible opponents all over the world and push them all the way.
Then what?
After Blue Star dominates, will he go to dominate the world?
It's great, and the results will definitely be better.
But it will get boring.
real.
If you repeat a template, a routine, keep writing, and keep nesting dolls, you will really get bored, and you will be very powerless in the later stage. In the end, you will not be able to escape the ending of the eunuch.
The second path is the direction this book is taking.
Group portrait essay.
Yes.
Write the splendor of each character. As the boss of Fenghuo said, every character is a pearl.
Use the plot to string these beads together, and you will have an extremely moving scenery.
Therefore, there is a truth that I have been afraid to tell everyone.
In the first four volumes of this book, the real protagonist is not An Chen, but the great demons, practitioners from the outside world, and ordinary people.
Only from the fifth volume to the finale, An Chen is the real protagonist.
That is to say.
In the first four volumes, every character is a protagonist, including you who are reading the book, and you are also a part of the book. You can always find some resonance.
In the following chapters, An Chen is the real protagonist.
As long as these two parts are written, the spirit of the book will be enough.
Having said all that, the appetizers have been served and it’s time for the main course.
The protagonist opens his eyes, comes out of the mountain, and sees the world.
Gentlemen, listen to the dragon's roar!
Let’s accompany the characters in the book to fight in all directions and spread blood across all nine states!
Bless our dragon kingdom forever! ! !
