The anger seems to be burning me, corroding me inch by inch. He came for me, but he wanted to hurt me, the person I love most in the world. Hatred slowly swallows up fear.

If this thing were here now, I would rather die with him.

I threw away my mother's hand like crazy and ran towards the reservoir. I knew he was waiting for me in the well at the bottom of the water. I came and I was going to end it with him today.

I ran to the reservoir in one breath, stood on the shore and shouted there:

"I'm here, aren't you going to keep pestering me? Come out!"

I screamed hoarse, the veins on my neck popped out, and shouted into the water, but the only answer I got was the sound of water flowing. It was too peaceful here, there was nothing.

"What, you don't dare to come out? Don't you want me?"

I looked at the river water, and a fierce light rose in my eyes. I walked towards the river step by step.

"You're not coming out, are you? Then I'll come find you!" I raised my eyebrows and shouted to the river, with a decisive smile on my lips.

The water was up to my ankles, up to my waist, and would soon be over my head, stopping my breathing.

Even if I turn into a fierce ghost today, I will not let go of this thing at the bottom of the river. It was him who killed my grandmother. I want to recover this blood debt from that thing one by one.

Just when my head was about to sink into the water, I felt something in the water wrapped around my feet, like a ball of hair.

That thing dragged me into the river, and I didn't feel fear until the moment I died. I don't want to die, what on earth is that thing, grabbing my leg and not letting go.

Huge fear filled me, and I struggled hard, but I couldn't get rid of the hair that kept wrapping around my ankles, allowing her to drag my body deeper and deeper.

When I was even more desperate, a group of snakes swam in the water. I thought I was doomed, but I didn't expect that I would survive.

Those snakes actually bit off my hair, but the water ghost was still unwilling to give in. She beat the snakes away and chased me again.

When her hand was about to touch my neck, suddenly the talisman around my neck flashed with light. The water ghost just screamed and disappeared.

Taking this opportunity, I swam desperately toward the water. But my strength was limited, and I was exhausted even before I could get out of the water.

This time it was very critical. Thinking of this, my body began to sink again. Unexpectedly, a force in the water lifted me up, and a wave hit me on the shore.

I took a few sips of water and lay half-ly on the river bank, gasping for air. Who saved me?

My mother chased me at this time and grabbed me.

"Silly boy, you're dying!" My mother ran over and grabbed my hand. I pulled it back and looked at her coldly.

If it hadn't been for what my mother did, I wouldn't have had anything to do with the thing under the water, there wouldn't have been so many bad things, and my grandma wouldn't have been implicated.

"Grandma is still waiting for you, send her on her last journey!" I lowered my head when I heard my mother's words.

She stretched out her hand to help me up, but I didn't respond to her and got up on my own.

As we were walking back, our neighbor Grandpa Zhang ran towards us in a panic, with beads of sweat on his forehead.

"Where have you been?"

"Grandpa Zhang, what happened?" I asked quickly.

"Your grandmother's body is missing!"

I ran home, opened the door and saw that the coffin lid had fallen to the ground. It was fine when I left, but now it's in such a mess.

I ran to the coffin, looked over, and sure enough I saw that there was nothing in the coffin. Where did grandma go?

Then I heard the sound of "crackling" pots and bowls being smashed from inside the house. I quietly walked towards the house.

When I came to the door, opened the curtain and looked in, I felt a shiver all over, and I felt cold and cold even when the sun was shining down on me.

The person in the house was not grandma, but a python as thick as a thigh. It was crawling around the house. At this time, my mother also came over. She looked at the big snake and screamed.

"Your grandma was entangled by this guy at that time!"

When my mother said this, I became furious, picked up the big ax at home, and chopped at the snake.

I lifted the ax and dropped it, and a stream of hot blood spattered on my face.

The big snake was still struggling under my axe. Seeing that he was not completely dead, I calmed down and swung the ax again, this time slashing seven inches of his body. Still feeling uneasy, I struck at the snake again and again.

Until the snake under the ax stopped moving. I was unable to lower my hand.

"Aning!"

My mother came towards me tremblingly. As soon as she touched my shoulder, I immediately turned my head and stared at her.

My mother was frightened by what I looked like, and her face turned pale.

"Ah, Aning, are you okay?"

I put down the axe, stood up without saying anything, and ran out to find my grandma.

I could clearly see the bloody footprints on the ground, which were left from here, I was afraid they were left by my grandma. I thought about those dusty memories, and about the people who were bitten by snakes, who would unexpectedly come back to life, and then those people would continue to bite people like crazy.

Thinking of this, I felt chills all over. I didn't want my grandma to become such a monster.

I followed the footprints on the road all the way, and sure enough I saw a familiar figure in front of me. My nose felt sore and tears blurred my vision. That was my grandma.

"Grandma, am I back?"

I called her, but she ignored me and still stood there with her back to me. I saw her look as if she was chewing something.

A cold feeling filled my nerves. I took a few steps, really afraid of seeing a horrific scene.

I walked around to my grandma and saw that she was holding a chicken tightly in her hand. The head of the chicken had been bitten off, and the chicken blood was gurgling from the headless cavity.

And grandma's mouth was still chewing.

I swallowed a few mouthfuls, suppressed the feeling of vomiting, and forced myself to calm down.

"Grandma~" I called her with a trembling voice.

Grandma stopped chewing and looked at me blankly. Suddenly she stretched out her hand, grabbed it towards me, and made a hissing sound from her mouth. I could see her mouth opened desperately.

There was red chicken blood mixed in that mouth. Did grandma want to bite me too? Thinking of this, I feel sad.

"Ah, z" I could only hear these monosyllables in her mouth.

I supported my grandma with my hands, but she was very strong. She came close to my ear and made that vague sound in her mouth.

Are you trying to say something to me, or are you trying to bite me?

Grandma is very strong. She will bite me in the next second. Will I be the same as her?
