I have been recuperating in the countryside for ten years and have only recently recovered somewhat.
As soon as I walked out of the house, the people standing guard at my door called their boss. Several people came to ask me to escort them. Some offered a high price of hundreds of thousands a month, and some even wanted to Betroth your daughter to me.
These people came from all over the country, including real estate tycoons, mining bosses, and some even taller than them.
But I just thought about it and rejected them all.
I originally came into contact with this industry by mistake. Even though I gained a huge reputation, I was also seriously injured in an accident and had to practice for ten years. The young man has now become a rugged and slovenly middle-aged man. The people he met at the beginning have all gone their own way and have never been heard from again.
After all, I am still alone with no relatives and no reason, which also corresponds to the hexagram of the year.
In the end, I chose to find a place where no one knew me, and opened a small Feng Shui shop. When there was no business, I walked around and looked at the scenery, and my life was leisurely and happy.
In recent years, Feng Shui metaphysics has become popular, and various TV series, movies, and even variety show interviews have emerged one after another.
The fact that I have reached the point where I am today is inseparable from the two words Feng Shui Metaphysics.
It just so happened that I was completely free, and I also tried to write about the things I had experienced in those years, those related to Feng Shui metaphysics and supernatural things, those weird and bizarre things that ordinary people could not understand.
Let me tell you from the beginning.
I was about fifteen or sixteen when I got into this business. My hometown is a small village in the northernmost part of Northeast China, across a river from Russia. The coldest time in winter can reach minus 20 degrees Celsius.
I was an abandoned baby, brought home by my grandfather since I was a child. Grandpa used to be a hunter. Later, guns were banned in the Northeast and hunting was banned. All the guns were confiscated, so he resold some mountain products, did Feng Shui for others, and ran errands. Although life is not rich, it is still manageable.
I didn't like studying since I was a child. My grandfather spoiled me and let me go crazy. He took me hiking in the old forest and told me some ghost stories about Daxinganling.
This also made me very interested in things like Feng Shui and supernatural things. I often saved my food money to buy books about ghost stories.
I remember that the book I read the most at that time was "Folk Tales - Coward". This magazine was all about folk ghost stories. For a while, I didn't dare to go to the toilet.
By the end of junior high school, I couldn't keep up with my studies. That's when I gave up studying completely and turned my attention to writing some supernatural novels and circulating them among my classmates. Reading them cost 50 cents a time.
That semester, I earned a lot of pocket money for myself.
When I was about to take the high school entrance examination, my grandfather broke his leg while running in the mountains. The medical expenses, hospitalization expenses and surgical expenses added up to a huge amount, and it was not enough even if I took out all the family assets.
At that time, I bought everything in my house and even the yard was empty, so I couldn’t raise the money. Grandpa lay on the bed and sighed, trying to hold himself up and want to sell the house.
I know that my grandfather has a son who rents a store house in the next county and opens a small supermarket. The business is booming. I took a car to the next county to borrow money from my uncle.
Although they didn't say anything openly, my uncle and his wife once talked about me secretly and I overheard them, saying that I was a lone star from heaven and that grandpa insisted on adopting me. Sooner or later, he would kill grandpa and everyone around him. , tell my aunt not to be polite to me when she sees me in the future.
On the way back, in order to save a few dollars and buy more delicious food for my grandpa, I didn't take the car. I walked dozens of miles all night. When I got to the hospital, my feet were so swollen that I couldn't feel anything.
My little bit of frivolity and self-esteem was smashed to the ground by what my uncle said.
From that time on, I vowed to be a successful person and let my grandpa live a good life!
When my grandfather was discharged from the hospital and went to live with my uncle, I stopped going to school and ran to the old forest every day to pick up some mountain products and find some medicinal materials based on what my grandfather told me.
After paying all the expenses with the money my uncle gave me, there was still some money left, about two thousand yuan left, and I secretly transferred this money myself.
Not only do I go to the woods to find wild products, I also go to nearby villages to collect wild products.
Sometimes people in the village go into the mountains to cut firewood and come across some novel things and pick them up. They don't recognize them and see me collecting them with money, so they are naturally happy to buy them from me.
Since I was a child, I have been exposed to it from my grandfather, so naturally I know many medicinal materials that ordinary people do not know.
I spent more than 1,500 yuan and collected a pair of Polygonum multiflorum, some Astragalus membranaceus, and two small-leaf wild ginseng. Unfortunately, these two ginsengs were not wrapped in soil and lost their spiritual energy. We also collected some wild pangolins. At that time, pangolins were relatively common, and the prices we collected and sold were normal. Nowadays, there are very few wild pangolins.
By the way, I also collected a small tiger skin, which was about 1.56 meters long when unfolded, just right for making a blanket. Tiger skins were among the most sought-after goods after hunting was banned at that time. The tiger skins in this family were passed down two generations ago. My children always had nosebleeds while sleeping, so they sold them to me at a low price, so I picked them up and missed them.
This tiger skin has been passed down for two generations, and the evil spirit belonging to the tiger has basically been worn away, leaving only the abundant yang energy. Sleeping on it, you can feel the heat radiating from your bones even if you don't wear clothes in the cold winter.
I used the remaining money to buy two large suitcases, packed all the medicinal materials and tiger skins, stuffed them into the suitcases, and got on the train to Harbin with my things in hand.
At that time, I was so excited that I embarked on the journey south without telling everyone.
The closest big city I had heard of at that time was Harbin, but after I arrived and asked around, I found out that the prices sold here were similar to those charged in our county. I kept buying them all over and over again. Lost a lot.
Fortunately, a kind person told me to go further south, pass the customs, and go to Yanjing to sell. There are few things in Yanjing, but there are many people who accept them, and the price is high.
It took more than forty hours to get from Harbin to Yanjing. At that time, not many people in the whole county, let alone the whole village, had been to Yanjing.
In order to save money, I chose the cheapest hard seat, carried two large suitcases, and carried this large, tattered schoolbag sewn for me by my grandfather on my back. I was afraid that someone would take away my things, so I never left my two big boxes.
Passengers at the station and on the bus pointed at me, as if to say, look! Where did this stinky country bumpkin come from!
Carrying the disdain and supercilious looks of others, I arrived in Yanjing two and a half days later.
