Chapter 5 Intentional Encounter

Songzhi ran back to Nian Shilan holding a package of shortbread wrapped in oil paper. As Nian Shilan glanced at the time, the sound of a team of galloping horse hooves came closer and closer.

The boy who was following him panicked and tried to pull Nian Shilan away, but he suddenly slipped due to the snow on the roadside. Fortunately, a steady embrace protected his eldest daughter.

When the cavalry passed by, the figure released its long arm protecting Nian Shilan.

Nian Shilan pretended to be panicked and raised his head. What caught his eye was a man in a crow-colored robe with ocher-yellow embroidery on the cuffs of the robe. Standing there tall and tall, he was the Fourth Prince Yinzhen.

The restaurant has three floors. The first floor is for ordinary people to sit down, and the second floor is for private rooms. When Nian Shilan followed the fourth prince to the third floor, he could hear the conversations of the guests on the second floor.

The fourth prince walked all the way to the third floor. The shopkeeper opened the only box on the third floor and respectfully invited the fourth prince and Nian Shilan in. The fourth prince was followed by Su Peisheng, and Nian Shilan was followed by Songzhi.
