The Wudang Sect has always had no real foundation. The so-called doctrine, to put it nicely, is the integration of Taoism, Confucianism, and Buddhism;

In this regard, the successive leaders of Wudang were very distressed, but the Tao cannot be created just by wanting to create it. It has extremely high requirements on people's knowledge, understanding, and experience.
If you don't have enough moral principles, but you try to create things by force, you will only make people laugh in the end.
So... we can only learn from it.
But it's different now. Wudang has its own heritage, and it's still the 'Tao' of the founder Zhang Slutty, which is absolutely authentic and orthodox.
This plays a vital role in the development of Wudang.
How can a sect develop in the long run if it has nothing of its own?

However, this does not mean that from now on, Wudang disciples can feast on fish and meat all day long; they can only eat on the fifth day of the month, and they are not allowed to eat in Taoist temples.
As a Taoist, there are some things that you still have to stick to. You can follow your heart, but you can't be unscrupulous!
Li Qing redesigned a canteen to improve the lives of Wudang disciples.
At the same time, Li Qing also advocated that if the disciples wanted to start a family, Wudang would allow them to go down the mountain and return to secular life without interfering, and they would still recognize their status as Wudang disciples.
These two regulations have greatly eliminated the shackles in the hearts of the disciples and made them relaxed and happy.
No longer do you need to feel guilty about eating meat, and you don’t have to worry about being blocked or even punished when you want to start a family one day.

He understands that if Wudang is to be promoted, certain 'marketing' means must be used. The teachings are the foundation, which are internal rather than external, and cannot be used for publicity.

What Li Qing did was not considered ugly. Compared to Buddhism...he was very conservative.
Moreover, he did not just promote it. He combined the little old man's health regimen with the lives of people at all levels and formulated several sets of health regimens to reward the lay people who came to the mountain to offer incense.
After doing all this, Li Qing felt that it was not enough. He believed that he had to show his true skills, and his true skills could be felt by others!
In fact, although Taoism has many sects, its core ideas are not much different, and the concepts they respect are not much different.
What really differs is what each faction specializes in.
For example, Quanzhen Taoism is good at refining elixirs, and Zhengyi Taoism is good at drawing talismans. These are things that almost everyone knows.
To put it bluntly, it’s labeling.
With labels, it can be more deeply rooted in people's hearts.
Of course, Li Qing is not the only one who sees this. In fact, many Taoist sects do this. However, without the real ability, they can only learn from Quanzhen or Zhengyi.
However, instead of influencing the two religions, those who borrowed from them actually made them successful.
This makes him the best in alchemy and the leader in painting talismans, and his status in the world is unbreakable!
If Wudang wants to flourish, it must have its own label, and it must not have anything in common with these two sects!
Just because... alchemy and talisman painting, Quanzhen and Zhengyi, have come to the forefront.
But why should Wudang learn from it? Wu-Tang has its own label!
