A tall and beautiful figure walked out of the damaged wall and walked toward the garden, swinging her long hair.

Galadia's top had been torn, revealing her jade-white shoulders. The blood on her forehead flowed down her cheeks, dyeing her left face and shoulder red.

She was staggering due to excessive blood loss, took out a bottle of red crystal liquid from her waist, drank it in one gulp, wiped the blood on her mouth and threw the crystal bottle aside, looking straight at the orc in front of her with an indifferent expression.

The eyes that were always happy and beautiful were gleaming with cold light, like a blade thrown at the enemy. Her lips parted slightly, and she softly chanted the words to defeat the enemy.

"I identify the creature in front of me as the enemy of nature."

Her left eye didn't know when it became as dazzling as a ruby, and it seemed to take away the soul just by looking at it.

"Oh, Elf, I like it, wild," the strong orc man's eyes swept down from Galadia's bare shoulders, looked up and down several times with a satisfied expression, and said word by word, "Others, Female, fragile. You, good."

As soon as he finished speaking, the strong orc man's feet suddenly bent and launched, and he rushed towards the elf ranger like a thunderbolt.

"Bang!" The orc man jumped off the ground and suddenly fell heavily to the ground. A dense group of thorns grew out of thin air on the flat lawn, tightly entangled with his feet.

"What is this?" Rudias in the room exclaimed.

"Weeds!" The strong orc stretched out his hand to tear off the thorns on his feet, but his hands were as disobedient as if he was drunk, and he couldn't catch it despite several attempts.

"What kind of magic is this?! No, why are there no chants and mantras?" Rudias shouted, ignoring Griffith who was attacking the shield, "Isn't this a magic spell?"

Under Griffith's full attack, the transparent shield began to show signs of shattering.

Galadia completely ignored the mage's cry. Beside her, a big tree drooped its branches, rolled up the long bow left on the ground, and handed it to the elf respectfully.

The elf ranger skillfully took off the bowstring, wound it tightly with both hands and pulled it twice, then walked towards the orc with graceful steps.

"I know! I know!" Rudias continued to yell, regardless of the fact that his shield was damaged, "You are actually a superior species of elves, a favored one who receives the gift of the gods! You are not comparable to the one before! Orc, catch her! Seize the clues to the evolution of life!"

The orc finally broke free from the thorns on his feet and jumped up like an elf.

But this time his attack failed. It was obvious that he was rushing towards the nearby elf, but for some reason the beastman only caught the air.

"Your eyesight is not very good~" Galadia took advantage of the situation and wrapped the bowstring around the neck of the orc who was in the air. She dodged and rode on his back, tightening the bowstring.

"Ouch! Ouch!" The strong orc roared like a beast and struggled wildly. It waved its hands and grabbed behind its back, its burly body jumping on the grass. But the tightened bowstring locked his throat, and the more he struggled, the more he felt as if his lungs were about to explode.

This powerful creature with amazing strength and speed didn't know how to resist such a strangulation, and fell into a suffocation that it could not break free from.

"My masterpiece!" Rudias watched his creation gradually lose the vitality in his eyes and fell to his knees, wailing sadly, "No!!"

The shield suddenly failed, and the mage jumped up like a spring and rushed towards the courtyard, just in time to hit the ax swung by Griffith, and he was killed on the spot.

Griffith looked at his bloody axe, then at the mage's head rolling on the ground, silently picked up a blanket, limped forward and put it on Galadia: "You're okay ?"

"Well, I was careless." The elf girl's face was covered with blood, and her beautiful top was torn to tatters, but her wounds had stopped bleeding and started to recover, "I believe in divination too much."

"Divination? Divination for what?"

"Before accepting the invitation, I divined the degree of danger and the outcome." Galadia raised her bloody head and smiled at the trainee knight, "What do you think the outcome was?"

"It's...what?"

"Achieving meaningful results after experiencing certain dangers," Galadia regained her bright smile, "Tsk! Is this still called certain dangers? I almost turned into that! Wait until I go back , I will hang up the profiteer selling jewelry and beat him!"

"Sorry." Griffith was quite ashamed.

"Why are you apologizing?" The elf raised his thin eyebrows, "If you hadn't attracted that fireball, I don't know how it would have ended~ The orc would have crushed me."

Griffith was surprised to find that Galadia's left eye seemed to be stained red by blood dripping from her forehead. But when he looked carefully, the shining light was more magnificent than the gems. The brief look at each other actually made him feel helpless as he fell into a whirlpool.

"Hurry up and pack up." The elf hurriedly wrapped himself in a blanket and turned around. When the stunning red light disappeared, Griffith immediately broke free from the dizziness.

Could it be the magic eye? Griffith had never seen such an ability, but he had heard of it. The magic eyes have their own unique extraordinary ability. They can exert the power of magic without chanting. Each one is extremely precious and rare.

Could this be the reason why Galadia was attacked?

Griffith picked up the weapons from the ground and re-armed them. He returned to the mage tower and found several bottles of blue potion in crystal bottles from the mage's cabinet.

"These are magic recovery potions and mental enhancement potions. We should divide them as trophies." Galadia came over to take a look, then took out a bottle of red potion and handed it to Griffith, "You should also Prepare some life potions. Although they are expensive in your human currency, they can save your life at critical moments and make a comeback."

"How expensive?" Griffith had several broken bones in his body and was in terrible pain. He drank it in one gulp without thinking.

"Eight gold florins a bottle."

"Pfft!" Griffith almost spat out. He covered his mouth and swallowed the potion, "I'll pay you later."

"This is for you." Galadia grabbed the blanket wrapped around her with one hand and patted the trainee knight's head with the other. "Recover quickly. I have used magic items to send a regional request for help to the local human extraordinary people. The nearby Mages and garrison knights will arrive soon to support you. Before they arrive, let's search the mage tower. There may be other victims, and there may be traps and minions."

The red healing potion filled the body with a warm breath. Griffith found that his wounds were quickly stopping bleeding, the broken bones were healing quickly, and they no longer hurt so much.

The resident mage probably spent too much resources on cultivating strong orcs. His mage tower was completely impoverished. Not only was the furniture very simple, but there were not even enough casting materials.

In the dry and tidy laboratory, Griffith found the bookcases full of books, various flasks, test tubes and experimental equipment.

"These are alchemy tools," Galadia picked up a jar of semi-finished products and smelled it. "It seems that Rudias did not forget the basic skills of a mage while cultivating monsters."

""Intermediate Alchemy", "Introduction to the Configuration of Magical Creatures"..." The elf took out a few more books and flipped through them. "They are all ordinary printed matter that can be found in most magic academies. The most valuable are the handwritten ones. Experiment records and notes. Like that one!”

Griffith looked in the direction of Galadia's finger and found a black notebook on the desk in the middle of the laboratory.

"Notes on Potion Preparation" (Anonymous author).
