During the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, the Chunyang Hall, the last Taoist temple in Mount Emei, was also rebuilt by monks.
At that time, there were hundreds of temples on Mount Emei, which can be said to be one temple every three miles and one temple every five miles.
Historically, there are records of the earliest temples built in Mount Emei. One is a monk from the Western Regions during the Western Jin Dynasty, Avraduo, and the other is Master Huizhi from the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
Two monks came all the way to build a temple in Mount Emei to spread Buddhism.

One day, while collecting herbs from Dandelion, he saw an elk and chased it all the way to the Golden Summit cliff.
The elk suddenly disappeared, and a purple mist rose from the cliffs.
Pu Gong told the monk Baozhang in the temple about this strange scene, and the monk pointed out to him, "Where is the elk here? What you see is clearly the seal of Samantabhadra, the Bodhisattva who assists the Buddha in promoting Buddhism and saving all sentient beings."
As a result, Pu Gong raised funds voluntarily and built Puguang Temple on Mount Emei, dedicated to the Samantabhadra Bodhisattva.
Since then, the belief in Samantabhadra has taken root in Mount Emei.
Samantabhadra Bodhisattva represents walking vows in Buddhism, so it is also called Samantabhadra Bodhisattva.
What is Dahang?
Action means practice, and big banks strive to combine theory with practice.
The mount of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva is an elephant. The elephant represents down-to-earth and step-by-step steps. It just symbolizes the stability and steadiness of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva.
Throughout the ages, there have been many people who believe in Buddhism. Some people say that Buddhism is so profound that it can only be understood with your heart throughout your life.
Some people think it is very simple, just go to the temple to burn incense and pray for blessings.
Therefore, many people come to worship Samantabhadra with full wishes.
But just having wishes is just an empty frame. Only by putting wishes into practice and transforming them into reality can wishes be given the most practical meaning.
Speaking of Buddhism, during the Tang Dynasty, Bai Juyi was an official in Hangzhou and heard someone talk about a Zen master in his area who built a bird's nest in a tree to practice Buddhism.
Bai Juyi asked him for the essence of Buddhism, and Zen Master Bird's Nest told him: Don't do any evil and do all the good.
Bai Juyi thinks that even a three-year-old child knows what Zen Master said.
The Zen master said: A three-year-old child knows this truth, but a person who lives to be eighty may not be able to do it.
Therefore, any problem comes down to whether to do or not to do, which falls on a single line."
