Remarks on the launch

The book will be on the shelves tomorrow at noon, well, that’s it.

I have written so many books, and the total number is 8 million words, so if I want to say anything about it, I basically have no words. To put it simply...

"Star Wars: The Fourth Scourge" is mainly to complete the "Star Wars" chapter of "The Machinist" in the Infinity Saga, because there are many things that I want to write after the "Machina" Star Wars chapter but have no chance.

For example, Grand Admiral Thrawn’s 30-year plan of preparing for war in ten years, conquering the galaxy in ten years, recuperating in ten years, and the plot of his showdown with our Tang Dynasty president. I really hope that there will be a result.

So I reorganized my thoughts and decided to reinterpret the Clone Wars, which in my opinion is the most charming part of Star Wars, from a more detailed and in-depth perspective.

So the book The Fourth Natural Disaster came into being.

I hope that in this book, I can fully introduce the grand world view of the "Star Wars" world to everyone, and there will not be so many thresholds.

I hope new Star Wars fans will read this book and say, "Oh, this is Star Wars!"

And old Star Wars fans will smile knowingly after reading this book and say: "Yes, this is "Star Wars"!"

Therefore, I have been very careful to balance the relationship between "The Fourth Scourge" and "Star Wars", hoping to achieve a perfect balance and bring out the different charms of the two.

In addition, what I actually want to say is that even the Star Wars chapter of "The Machinist" was criticized before it was finished. For example, it was too long, and the supporting characters had too much writing and so on.

This involves another issue, my style of writing books.

how to say? Let’s take the book “The Fourth Natural Disaster” as an example. Let me tell you a few points that have been criticized the most. To summarize:

1. The protagonist is thrown into a strange world and takes pictures in the mirror to get angry. Some people say that he is incompetent and furious, so he gives up.

2. Feeling lonely in a strange world, go back to your room to clean up your mood. Some people say you are weak and give up.

3. The first time I exercised my power as a manager, I was a little hesitant when determining the landing point. Some people said it was not domineering enough, so I gave up.

4. I think that if I focus on development at home, I will not be able to complete the preparations within ten years, so I go out to find foreign aid for the plot such as the protagonist. Some people say that I should just sit in the office and give up.

5. In the early stages of development, I was attacked by bounty hunters. I lost a game due to the performance gap of fighter jets. Some people said that the protagonist was a failure and should be abandoned.

6. The protagonist starts researching ghost fighters and frigates, and develops technology step by step. Some people say that one year is enough to challenge the Galactic Republic. Your speed is too slow, so give up.

7. The pirate cruiser comes to the door, and the protagonist group works together to achieve perfect results. Some people say that it takes so long to fight a cruiser, which is rubbish and abandoned.

8. Isn’t the Fourth Natural Disaster a player who is immortal and will be resurrected? What kind of fourth natural disaster are you talking about? Give it up! Well, there are quite a few people like this. Where did they receive the wrong information? I wonder if the fourth natural disaster is not the "~" of the stars? Have anything to do with immortal players?

There are a few others, but that's basically it.

Okay, so to sum up, if I write according to these people's ideas, then it is estimated that after the protagonist travels through time, he finds that his parents, wife and children who gave birth to him and raised him can never see each other again, and there is no wave in his heart, from beginning to end. Any expression of emotion will most likely lead to shouting in the sky, saying "I can't help it, God will kill you" and so on.

Then he would sit on the sofa, with a devilish smile on his face, and calculate the entire galaxy with the movement of his fingers. Palpatine and the like would kneel down and call him daddy.

In addition, I can also give people in the galaxy a collective intelligence. They will know nothing about the development of the situation. They basically have no personal actions. All actions revolve around the actions of the protagonist, and then they are led by the nose. Later, when the protagonist's invincible fleet arrives, they will be surprised. Where did the protagonist get the fleet? And it’s so terrifying!

Then the technology on the protagonist's side is developing rapidly. It is best to have three-day cruisers and five-day battleships, and start building Titans in one month, so that the protagonist's Titan Sea can directly hit Coruscant before the Battle of Naboo begins.

It doesn't matter what kind of resources, what kind of population, what kind of industry, as long as you run over them all the way. Well, maybe it will be fun.

Don't think it's an exaggeration. These opinions actually existed in my book review section, but I found them so offensive that I permanently banned them and then deleted them.

I don’t know if these views represent most people, but what I do know is that my own style of writing books is like this. To put it mildly, it is not so popular, in terms of results.

But I also know that there is always a group of loyal readers who like to read my books, like the way I narrate, and like my stories, so they have been following me until now, and the same is true in terms of results.

The protagonist in my novel is not omniscient and omnipotent, so he will be angry and sad. Naturally, he will also be deceived and suffer failure, but he is growing step by step.

When I first started writing "The Mechanic", the same problems and the same debates still existed. But after the Tang Dynasty became emperor, how did everyone feel? Looking back at the history of the struggle of General Datang, do you have any deeper insights?

As for the trolls, I don’t know where they are by then, but I don’t care. Because readers who really understand me follow along, they understand and enjoy it, so for me, this is enough.

Similarly, for the plot, I will describe the details, I will slowly lay the groundwork, and then show the whole thing, so that everyone can truly feel what I want to convey.

I will carefully shape each character to make them more flesh-and-blood and more three-dimensional, even if it reduces the halo around the protagonist.

Because the protagonist alone is not omnipotent, but the protagonist and his team and partners are invincible.

So the pace of my book is not fast, and this is probably the most unpleasant thing about it. But that’s how I am, so I don’t want to change it, because I know that if I change it, I will lose the readers who understand me now.

It is my greatest honor to get to know you all since Xiaojing wrote the book.

Okay, originally I just wanted to write a few simple sentences, but I didn’t expect to say so much. In short, I can actually see that the current readers are basically readers who understand me and understand me.

You know how I will write it, and you also know what kind of plot and style you will experience if you follow it. Whether you are an old reader who has followed "The Mechanic" all the way or a new reader who has just joined, I will take you along.

above.

Oh, by the way, after it was released, it was updated three times a day on weekdays and twice a day on holidays, just like the time of "The Mechanic".
