hiss!

Everyone at the dinner table took a breath.

All four adults were stunned.

They looked at my master blankly, their mouths closed.

Especially my mom.

All the chopsticks in my hand fell off...

Snap!

He fell to the ground.

She probably never expected that what was hidden behind my master’s weird mask was such a face!

I didn't expect that the so-called "Qin Xiangu" looked so young.

Like a young girl of eighteen or twenty years old!

My cousin Wu Xiaoxin didn’t quite understand this, so she just said it in a childish and surprised voice.

"Wow! This big sister is so beautiful. Even more beautiful than the stars on TV."

Her clear eyes stared directly at my master.

Ahem...

I quickly spoke out.

"Mom, Dad, Mom and Dad, don't stare at my master. Eat, let's eat."

At this time, my dad was the first to react and nodded vigorously.

"Yes, yes! Eat, eat. Um... Xiangu, can you use the chopsticks first? You are Xiao Chong's master and the savior of the second child. We are all people with little knowledge. We were a little rude just now. Don't mind."

My master listened and shook his head gently.

"It's okay. But don't talk about it outside."

Master was probably immune to the shock of others seeing her appearance for the first time, and seemed very calm.

After all, let alone my parents, I was still shocked when I saw Master's true face for the first time!

She picked up her chopsticks, picked up a piece of fried local chicken marinated in sea pepper, put it into her mouth, and chewed it slowly.

She also knew that if she didn’t use her chopsticks, we would definitely not be able to eat.

"Let's eat!"

Wu Xiaoxin exclaimed happily, holding chopsticks in her little hands and first picked out a piece of Shao Bai (pork with bean sprouts) for herself - this meat is the softest, and it is easy for children to eat it.

At the dinner table, we ate delicious farm food.

In the TV series next to it, the Spring Festival Gala was playing.

It was a very enjoyable New Year’s Eve dinner and the atmosphere was great…

We played until almost eleven o'clock.

My parents took Xiaoxin to watch the sketch, and they laughed so hard.

I got up and followed Master to the courtyard outside.

It has become foggy at night.

It shrouds the mountains like a white veil.

The stars were bright, shining like diamonds on the black velvet sky.

call!

I took a deep breath.

The air in the mountains in late winter is cold and biting, and inhaling it brings a strange sense of wakefulness to the lungs.

"Master, what should we do?"

I asked, a little curious.

I heard the hidden meaning in Master’s words before. I am afraid that practicing on New Year’s Eve will be different from usual times!

Master did not answer me immediately, but put his hands behind his back and looked up at the horizon in the distance. The expression on his face was calm and indifferent, full of an ethereal feeling.

After a while, he slowly spoke.

"Ah Chong, do you know the mythical story of Pangu's creation of the world?"

Um?

I was a little confused.

I don’t know why Master suddenly mentioned this.

Most Chinese people should know the story of Pangu's founding of the world...after all, this is a traditional myth. Moreover, teachers will also teach it in primary school Chinese textbooks and extracurricular readings.

I was a little surprised.

"Master, is it true that Pangu created the world?"

Snapped!

I got a slap on the head.

She rolled her eyes at me.

"What do you think? If you study hard in school, where will all the knowledge you learned go?"

I covered my head in grievance and whispered.

"What we learned in school was scientific knowledge. Isn't this metaphysics what we are doing now..."

"They are all the same, and the essence is the same. Pangu's creation of the world naturally did not exist, and the earth is just a tiny planet in the vast universe. However, although Pangu's creation of the world is just a myth, in fact, this story contains the great secret of spiritual practice."

Seeing the confused look on my face, Master didn't give in and continued.

"In mythology, it is said that after Pangu created the world with his life, his body also transformed into all things in the world. The most important thing is that it transformed into two qi, clear and turbid."

"The clear air rose up and turned into the sky. The turbid air descended and turned into the earth. Then, there was heaven and earth, and the universe."

"The mythical stories are mysterious and naturally false. But from the perspective of metaphysics, the two qi of clear and turbidity and yin and yang correspond to each other and form the world."

"Although this world cannot be created by non-existent gods as told in myths and stories. But there do exist between heaven and earth, pure and turbid air that represent the essence of the world. They are hidden in the aura of heaven and earth and are difficult to Think about it.”

"If a practitioner can sense and absorb this pure and turbid energy, it will be a huge help to his own practice. Although it may not necessarily increase his strength in a short time, it can make a person's foundation more solid."

"If I use a scientific term to describe this pure and turbid air, I think... dark energy is a more accurate term. Science is not yet able to capture and utilize dark energy, but some Taoist traditions or Dharma lines among practitioners , but in thousands of years of exploration, we have obtained the method to connect its fur."

"Or more simply, you can also understand it as a certain kind of Qi. It's just more pure and profound than the Qi sense obtained through normal practice."

What Master said is extremely profound and complex - both from a metaphysical and scientific perspective!

I racked my brains, trying to keep up with what she was saying, and I could probably understand a few things.

But soon I felt a little dizzy.

"Okay, these things are gradually summed up over the long years as a teacher. They are my family's words. You just need to know a rough idea."

"Tonight I will teach you how to capture the clear and turbid air between heaven and earth at midnight on New Year's Eve. It is only at this hour in the year that it will gradually emerge. And it is really possible for us to capture What comes is the two or three minutes before and after the middle hour.”

One hour in ancient times corresponds to two hours today, so [Zi Shi] is from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.

So [Zi Shi Zhong] is actually exactly twelve o'clock (zero o'clock) in the evening!

Then, Master began to teach me how to sense and absorb the pure and turbid qi...

People in Xuanmen have different statuses, and their pursuits are also very different.

Since people live at the height of the temple, the temple plans and plans.

There are also people who live far away from the world and are at ease.

There are already major sects occupying Mingchuan Mountains, such as Qingcheng, Longhu, Maoshan, Zhongnan, Wutai, Putuo... and so on.

There are also various professions that feed the ghosts in the mortal world, such as coffin bearers, corpse collectors, ghost women, fortune tellers, Feng Shui masters... and so on.

But no matter what it is, as long as you are a Taoist practitioner, the most important step is to cultivate [Qi Sense]!

Once you have a sense of Qi and gather Qi in your Dantian, you will have the opportunity to truly enter the palace.

Otherwise, no matter what happens, they will lose their point after all, and they can only be regarded as the common people at the bottom of the Xuanmen world.

Because the Dantian acupuncture point is extremely important, it is also called the "Dantian Palace" by Xuanmen Jianghu... It is also an important source for most practitioners to perform spells and have many means!

but!

At this time, Master told me that there are two other large acupoints that are very important in the secret method of our lineage.

They are [Niwan Palace] and [Jiangyuan Palace] - if you use the body positions corresponding to modern medicine to roughly locate...

The Niwan Palace is located in the middle of the eyebrows, one inch deep into the brain.

Jiangyuan Palace is right next to the heart and close to the central axis of the spine.

Niwan Palace, also known as Tiangong.

Jiangyuan Palace, also known as the Underground Palace.

Dantian Palace, also known as Human Palace.

The three large acupoints are collectively called Sancai Palace.

Among them, Dantian is naturally used to store one's own Qi, just like ordinary monks.

Niwan and Jiangyuan, on the other hand, can absorb the clear and turbid qi respectively through certain magical means.

This is one of the highest secret techniques of my master's lineage!

On New Year’s Eve in 2000, she taught me this method...

It took me about half an hour or so before I barely mastered the most basic methods and touched a little bit of the threshold.

The meridian routes of this method are very complicated during the movement of Qi, so that the two large acupoints [Ni Wan] and [Jiang Yuan] can be activated, thereby achieving the function of connecting the spiritual energy of the outside world!

I also deeply understood again why Master always said that her lineage only accepts people with extraordinary talents.

It’s true that I didn’t mean to be so harsh, it’s just that people with poor talent simply can’t learn it!

Some things are so mysterious that they really require understanding.

The time has arrived at three quarters past midnight - that is, 11:45 pm.

Master and I were standing in the yard, and we could vaguely hear the laughter of family members watching the Spring Festival Gala from the main room behind us.

Bathing in the bright starry sky and breathing the cool air...Master and I sat on the floor and began to enter the Taoist meditation state with our five hearts pointing toward the sky.

"Ah Chong, according to the method I just taught you, extend your thoughts. First feel the aura of the heaven and earth around you, and then imagine a pair of inner eyes in your mind, looking into the east. Try to sense the changes in the very distance there."

"Okay Master."

I agreed, and then let my mind calm down, sensing the changes around me.

Soon, I sensed all kinds of different things...

I feel the wind.

I felt the earth energy flowing slowly under my feet.

I felt the thin spiritual energy of heaven and earth.

Finally, I tried my best to imagine a pair of inner eyes in my mind, and "looked" towards the due east.

Unfortunately, I felt nothing.

But I was not discouraged and kept trying again and again... looking at the east with my mind's eye over and over again.

Finally, I seemed to catch a hint of unusual energy.

The originally dark eastern sky seemed to have a faint red light!

In this late night, of course, it is impossible for the real reality of the east to shine. Everything only exists in my mind and perception.

At this time, I heard Master's voice directly in my mind.

"Ah Chong, be prepared. In two minutes, the clear and turbid qi between heaven and earth will obviously begin to flow in and differentiate..."

I was shocked and concentrated even more.
