From the early years of the Qing Dynasty to the middle of the Qing Dynasty, it took nearly a hundred years.
The population migration in China has been going on all the time.
The most typical one was initiated by the imperial court - Huguang filled Sichuan and Chongqing.
From the Huguang area, a steady stream of immigrants were conquered. Driven by the imperial court, he went to settle in the Sichuan and Chongqing areas...
In those days, it was common for a family to travel to a mountainous area with their entire family.
So in fact, most of the villages within Lianghe Town today were moved from other places more than two hundred years ago.
Many of the residents in the town are locals.
For example, my Wujia Village, as well as dozens of large and small villages in the surrounding mountains... basically all migrated from the Huguang area more than 200 years ago.
This Xia family courtyard is said to have come from a family named Xia from Guangdong.
Because the Xia family was relatively wealthy, they built a large courtyard in the mountain col.
When they came, there were only six or seven people, with seven or eight servants. Gradually, a small village of thirty or forty households grew up there.
In fact, this speed is quite slow.
After all, the more than one hundred and dozens of households in Wujiacun also migrated here from the Dongting Lake area at about the same time.
Now the scale is much larger than the Xia family yard...
Back to business.
But he said that after climbing four mountains, I finally arrived at the Xia family courtyard.
Because it is different from the ignorance I had when I was a child. I am not very proficient in Feng Shui now, but I have barely read the "House Classic" and "Burial Classic" a few times.
The general Feng Shui pattern still doesn’t trouble me.
Now standing on the ridge and looking down, I can see that it is surrounded by peaks and there is a flat land in the middle - the Xia family yard is in the center of this flat land.
But there is a river surrounding the flat land near the foot of the mountain, almost forming a perfect circle. The entire Xia family yard is surrounded by this "ring" formed by the river.
Seeing this scene, I suddenly understood.
"No wonder the Xia Family Courtyard has produced rich and noble people from time to time for more than two hundred years, but the clan has never been prosperous. The reason has finally been found!"
Because the place where the Xia Family Courtyard is located is a "Yuan Yin Lian Cai" - or also called "Yuan Kun Lian Cai" bureau!
As the saying goes, the high ones are mountains and the low ones are water.
Mountains are yang and water are yin.
Mountains govern people and water governs wealth.
In other words, if you want a prosperous population, you need to have mountains at your back.
If you want to be rich and wealthy, you need to be close to water but not close to it.
Therefore, the common auspicious position [jade belt around the waist] is a typical one, which balances the excellent Feng Shui pattern of mountains and water.
However, although the feng shui of a home can bring benefits, it ultimately depends on the efforts of future generations.
It does not mean that as long as you have a Feng Shui treasure place to live or bury your ancestors, you will definitely become rich!
You can understand it as... Feng Shui pattern is actually just a catalyst.
Like fuel, it makes the fire burn brighter. But you have to be angry first!
It's just that different fuels can make the fire burn to different degrees.
This original location of the Xia Family Courtyard had obviously been viewed by someone...
Although I don’t know how they found people when they first arrived and had no local connections. Or maybe there was someone in the Xia family who knew Feng Shui more than two hundred years ago?
In short, the pattern they created is a bit...how to put it, I can't say it's bad, but it's just a bit weird!
The so-called [Yuan Yin to attract wealth] means sacrificing the Yang Qi of the mountains to nourish the Yin Qi of the water.
To put it simply, it means sacrificing people in exchange for more wealth and nobility!
This is not a very evil Feng Shui pattern, because after all, it is just giving away part of the population for wealth, and it is not intended to eliminate the population.
So if you have to say it, it can barely be regarded as a serious Feng Shui bureau.
However, there are relatively few people who use it this way...
Especially in ancient times, prosperity was more important than wealth!
Who has nothing to do to transfer [people] to [wealth]?
I can only attribute it to the fact that the ancestors of the Xia family who migrated here really loved money too much.
Of course, none of this has anything to do with me.
This is obviously voluntary, what can I say?
What's more, modern society is different from ancient times.
It must be said that those Xia family members who have become famous and left this mountain valley to work in big cities will be able to break away from this Feng Shui pattern of "Yuan Yin to collect wealth".
Maybe if someone has more children and grandchildren, it will be considered as spreading the branches and leaves of the Xia family.
Because the Xia Family Courtyard is a [Yang Zhai] - Yang Zhai can only be affected by the Feng Shui pattern here if you have been living here.
After the branch family leaves here, it will be of no use. The effect of Feng Shui disappears.
Only the [Yin Mansion] can continue to influence the fate of future generations in the dark.
Even if you travel to the ends of the world - or even abroad, the luck brought by the [Yin Mansion] where your ancestors are buried will always affect you!
So why do Chinese people believe so much in Feng Shui and pay special attention to the tombs of their elders and ancestors?
Because this thing will always affect future generations!
I was thinking about the feng shui of Xia's yard while walking along the path in the mountain to the foot of the mountain.
The focus this time is to solve the problem of haunting here.
As for the general Feng Shui pattern, it is not within the scope of my work, I just speculate randomly. Think of it as a kind of review homework to familiarize yourself with business capabilities.
To be honest, the way down the mountain is really difficult.
Not only is it very narrow, it's also very steep.
There are some prickly weeds around, which can easily cause small wounds on the body.
If I hadn't been running around in the mountains and rivers since I was a child... If people from the city came to a place like this, they would probably just roll over, right?
Finally, I reached the foot of the mountain.
The entrance to the village of Xia Family Courtyard.
The circular rivers rejoined here and then flowed out.
The clear river water flows gurglingly, making a crisp and sweet sound.
An arched stone bridge spans the river and connects Xiang Xia's courtyard.
This is the only road connecting the entire village to the outside world!
If this stone bridge is broken, then the Xia Family Courtyard will be isolated from the outside world on land...
Of course, if you can swim or row, you can still get out.
I walked onto the stone bridge and entered the village.
I saw some children having fun at the entrance of the village.
There was one who seemed to be from a better family, and he was holding Ultraman and Transformers toys!
Uh... I have to say, this is very inconsistent.
In an ancient village deep in the mountains, I saw this very modern and very Western toy.
Of course, this is also evidence of social development.
is a good thing.
"Young man, you don't seem to be from our village? What's the matter? Who are you coming to see?"
A kind voice came from the side.
I turned around and looked.
An old man sitting under a big tree at the entrance of the village was talking to me with a smile.
I smiled back.
"Old man, I'm from Wujia Village. Where is Xia Dong's family?"
Xia Dong’s family!
When the old man heard what I said, he trembled all over and the smile on his face disappeared. A hint of fear flashed in his eyes.
But probably because it was still broad daylight, he quickly returned to normal.
But he still said it in a voice full of doubt and worry.
"You are the mage Xia Sanwa invited from Wujiacun? Didn't you say... you are a fairy? Why are you a young man?"
As soon as I heard this, I knew that the fact that Xia Dong's house was haunted should be pretty much known to everyone in the Xia family yard.
It's just right, I don't need to ask around.
I nodded and looked at him.
"Old man, the fairy you are talking about is my master. She has something to do today and can't come. So I asked my apprentice to come over and help. But don't worry, I'm not bad. Ordinary dirty things can be easily caught. It's a bit better to let my master take action. You are overqualified for your use."
The old man looked me up and down with a wry smile, as if he didn't believe how powerful a young "mage" like me could be.
Nor was I offended by his skepticism.
After all, if I put myself in my shoes, if I encountered something terrible when I was older and asked someone for help, and a young person came along, I would feel guilty.
So I still smiled and said: "Old man, if you have nothing to do, can you take me to Xia Dong's house? By the way, tell me what's going on in Xia Dong's house."
"Oh, okay. I'll take you there and call Sanwa Xia with me. Young man, let me tell you, that dirty thing is making a lot of noise..."
The old man took me into the village, and I observed the situation in the village.
To be honest, although the Xia Family Courtyard is small in size and has a small population, the houses in this village look much better than those in our Wu Family Village.
In the late 1990s, the vast majority of villages in the countryside of Sichuan and Chongqing still had houses made of mud and wood—commonly known as “earth houses.”
For example, my home is.
This kind of house is mainly made of rammed loess, supplemented by wood and bamboo strips. Construction costs are low and time-consuming.
It would be a few years later, in 2000, before a large number of concrete houses and three-story buildings began to appear in rural areas.
At least in 1999, there was not even a single concrete house in our Wujia Village.
But when I was walking in the village of Xia Family Courtyard, I looked left and right and saw at least five or six three-story cement buildings.
This shows that the Feng Shui pattern of [Yuan Yin attracting wealth] is indeed working!
The population is not prosperous in exchange for the overall prosperity of the clan.
This old man and I had not walked very far and had not exchanged a few words. We just found out that his name was Xia Jianguo. I saw a well-dressed middle-aged man coming out of a three-story building nearby.
Mr. Xia Jianguo immediately shouted to him.
"Xia Sanwa, just in time, the mage from Wujiacun you invited has arrived. Let's go to Xia Dong's house together."
It turns out that the "Xia Sanwa" the old man called was the village party secretary here. His name is Xia Sanjin, and the village chief is his father.
Although the village chief and party secretary are members of the same family, they are a bit unruly.
But after all, we are in the mountains, and some people from outside are not willing to come here, so the town cannot appoint party secretaries.
In fact, our Wujiacun is in a similar situation...
Xia Sanwa was stunned and looked at me with confusion.
I had to explain it again.
Regardless of whether they believe me in their hearts or not, at least the superficial work has passed.
"Brother Wu, let's go. Xia Dong's house is at the end of the village."
"Okay, Uncle Xia, tell me about the situation on the way?"
He is only a few years younger than my dad, so Xia Jianguo can call him "Sanwazi", but of course I still have to be polite and call him "Uncle Xia".
So, Xia Sanjin began to talk about the haunting in Xia's yard.
The story begins not long ago...
