Within the Juwang Sect, there are many sects, and each has many differences in their understanding and annotation of the scriptures. Among them, the oldest scripture of the Juwang Sect - "The Book of Envoys" has been the most deleted and annotated by various sects.
Each chapter in it has been more or less questioned or made apocryphal by the respective sects, and sentences and chapters have been modified or even deleted.
However, one chapter has endured for a long time. It is speculated that it was written very early after the third decline of the Lord God. However, no sect can shake its status, and few words are added or subtracted from it.
"The Abyss"
It is not long, and it mainly tells the story of the King of Kings, who after inheriting the Kingdom of the Lord God, inspired her prophet Azhar, spread her will on earth, and finally jumped into the abyss.
Aizhar is one of the earliest prophets recorded in the history of the Giant King Cult, and she is also the only female prophet.
Compared with such a status, her life was extremely short.
According to records, she did not perform any miracles, and no miracles appear in her story. This is completely different from other stories in which prophets, saints or angels perform miracles in pages and pages.
The story of "The Abyss" is roughly like this:
Aizhar worships the king of my king, and she often tells God that there is no more faithful creature in the world than her own faith.
So, the King of Kings led her to a cliff. She looked down and saw that it was dark and gloomy, swallowing up all the light, and she could not see the end.
Aizhar asked God: "O King of my kings, what do you want from me?"
"You will be shattered to pieces," God said. "You jump, there is an abyss."
So, Aizhar did not hesitate and jumped into the abyss.
The story of "The Abyss" ends abruptly here.
As for what happened next, there is no relevant record.
In Resurrection Town, the lecture hall converted from a church is the world of worship.
A female priest faced the holy image and recited according to the scriptures. After worshiping, they happened to read "The Book of the Abyss" today.
She was puzzled by this story. Currently, the priest Yin Sha was ill and had been locked away for many days. The female priest had no choice but to ask the priest's granddaughter Lomea for advice.
Although Luomea was upset about Chen Yin's matter and was a little worried all day long, she was still willing to help the female priest answer the question because of her gentle nature.
"What do you want to ask?" Lomea paused and asked, "What do you want me to explain?"
"Miss, I think this scripture is too profound. Prophet Aizhar, our king once said that she is the flower of the world. But why did our king ask the prophet to jump into the abyss?" The female saint Zhi said doubtfully.
Luo Mei'a straightened her face and scolded softly: "Don't ask the king of kings why, you are simply trying to guess her will! Haven't you ever learned that her will is unpredictable? What the king of kings does is Everything has its meaning.”
The female priest was scolded and realized something was wrong. She quickly bowed to the sacred painting in the lecture hall and prayed for God's forgiveness. Then she asked Lomea: "Miss...then why is the prophet willing to jump into the abyss?" ?”
"This is because the prophet's faith will remain until death." Lomea replied without hesitation.
"But... wouldn't it be better if the prophet did not jump into the abyss, but walked in the world to preach the teachings of my king?" The female priest expressed her biggest doubt.
"Are you asking the prophet to hesitate God's decision?" Seeing that the female priest was still confused, she said, "Don't abandon your way."
This answer did not fully answer the female priest's doubts. The female priest lowered her head in front of Lomea and thought for a long time. She wanted to say it several times and then reorganized her words.
Lomea waited patiently. Over the long years, she had met countless people seeking answers to questions like the female priest.
"Miss, why didn't the prophet hesitate?" the female priest said.
"Because she is a prophet." Lomea immediately replied, "How can you doubt the steadfastness of the prophet's faith?"
The female priest still had doubts, but she didn't know how to express them at all, so she had to give up, saying that she roughly understood the scripture.
Luomea understood that she actually half understood it, and didn't say much. He just said: "When you read it through again one day, maybe you will understand."
After the female priest left, Lomea sat on the stone chair. It had to be said that answering the female priest's questions relieved her a little bit of irritability.
Incense was lit in the lecture hall, and the burning myrrh gave off the smell of nuts and resinous wood, as well as the faint frankincense, steaming together in the lecture hall. These ethereal smells were intertwined, and from the tip of the nose, people felt A profound and sacred feeling.
"Sir...Chen Yin..." Luo Mea murmured in a low voice.
This is a test, right? The test that the king of kings has set for himself...a test of whether he can still persist in his faith and persevere under the temptation of love.
"You will be shattered to pieces, just jump, there is an abyss." Girl Pepper cooed unconsciously, then her eyes brightened, and she clenched her fists, as if to draw confidence from it.
At this time, the female priest suddenly returned.
"Miss... there is a true believer outside the door looking for you."
Miss Pepper's fists trembled and she unclenched her fists. She was a little scared and said: "Which true believer..."
The female priest was a little surprised at this time. Who else could it be? The female priest replied: "...It's the one at the bookstall. Don't you go to him often, miss?"
Luo Mei stood up suddenly, hurriedly changed clothes, and said: "I understand, you tell him to wait, don't let him come in, I will go see him now."
Her footsteps clicked.
At this moment, Chen Yin was standing in front of the door of the Lecture Hall.
The female priest came out just in time and asked Chen Yin to wait for a while.
Chen Yin nodded in agreement.
So, not long after, Chen Yin saw Luomea wearing ordinary robes, walking down the steps.
"What were you doing just now?"
Saying that, Chen Yin walked up to her and hugged her without caring.
"Yeah...let me go." she shouted.
Chen Yin let go of her and gently pressed her shoulders with his hands. He came to the Lecture School to find her as soon as he saw Babak.
"What were you doing just now?" Chen Yin asked again.
"Change."
"anything else?"
Miss Pepper hesitated for a moment and said softly: "Explain the scriptures to others..."The Abyss, sir, you should have heard of it."
Chen Yin nodded. He had read the "Book of Envoys" taught by Ju Wang, so he naturally knew the story.
"Oh, I have some impressions of the story of the prophetess, but I don't remember it clearly."
Lomea didn't want to talk more about this, but asked: "Sir...what do you want from me?"
Chen Yin immediately took her hand. She was a little uncomfortable and looked around carefully. There was no one there, so she let Chen Yin handle her arm.
Chen Yin led Luomea towards his home and said as he walked, "I know how to get to the ancient holy capital."
