Deep in the Dabie Mountains, there are high mountains, dense forests, and sparsely populated areas. There is a mountain at the southern foot of the main peak called Hegao Peak. Its peak towers into the clouds, and it has the appearance of an overarching landscape. According to legend among the mountain people, in ancient times, the Queen Mother, who lived in heaven, was tired of being trapped by too many rules and regulations, and always wanted to steal away from the mortal world to experience the fun of the world. One day, while passing by an overpass, I suddenly heard the sound of cranes chirping. Looking down, I caught a glimpse of a beloved place, which I secretly buried in my heart. One day, the Jade Emperor came back from an inspection tour. He was quite drunk. After chatting with the Queen Mother for a while, he fell into a deep sleep. Taking this opportunity, the Queen Mother invited her daughter-in-law and the Arhat Immortal Monk to ride on a crane and wear colorful clouds, and came to the human world. They climbed to the place they loved in the past. When the three immortals came here, they saw towering mountains. The scenery is beautiful, the residents are happy, and it is like a desperate situation in the world. It can't help but stimulate the excitement of tourism and poetry. The Queen Mother hurriedly ordered all her attendants to rush to the stone city to prepare for a rest. She couldn't help but praise: "The scenery is amazing; the poetry is amazing. What can I do if I don't have wine?" The Arhat Monk heard this and laughed loudly and said: "What's so difficult about this?" Then Xin Xin picked up a pot of fine wine. So the three immortals sat on the ground, drank wine and composed poems. The poem says: "The sun and the moon are here, and the peaks are dangerous to the sky." While they were discussing with each other, unexpectedly the Jade Emperor woke up and heard that the Queen Mother had stolen away from the mortal world. Long Yan was furious, so he sent heavenly soldiers and generals to send the Queen Mother back to heaven, and sent the Queen Mother and the Arhat Immortal Monk to the southeastern two foothills to make up for their faults. Benefit the Sang people. Later generations got this legend and named it with the meaning of "the crane's cry is heard in the sky". Since ancient times, this place has been the border of counties, countries, prefectures and prefectures, cutting across the east and west and building bridges to the north and south. It is known as "the most dangerous place for hunting in Wu and Chu" and is a battleground for military strategists. Within the territory, there are the "Tou Zhi Liu En Garrison" where Chu and Wu fought, the "Jue Wang Main Temple" where wealthy people raided the Yangtze River and Huaihe River during the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, the dangerous pass "Tongluo Pass" where Yue Fei of the Southern Song Dynasty resisted the Jin Dynasty, and Hegao Village built by Tianwan Emperor Xu Shouhui is also within the territory.
Feng Yanlang and Tang Saier were already on Hegao Peak at this time, thinking that the people from Jimu Villa should not be found in such a far, high, and wild mountain. Since entering the mountain, I have seen towering peaks, beautiful ridges, green pines and cypresses, lush forests and bamboos, hazy clouds on the mountainside, curling smoke at the foot of the mountain, small bridges and flowing water, and jagged hills. I can't help but be attracted by this beautiful scenery, and I want to find someone to inquire about it. There was so much scenery nearby, but I was afraid of exposing my whereabouts, so I had to bite the bullet and walk higher up the mountain. There are many famous mountain monks in the world, and there have always been many religious people here. Each mountain top is either a temple or a Taoist temple. Hegao Peak has a good reputation. I think there should be no people on the top of the mountain.
After walking for a long time, the two finally saw a line of stairs towering into the clouds. The two of them climbed up the steps and reached the mountain gate. They saw the three characters "Duzun Temple" clearly identifying their identities.
Seeing someone snooping in front of the mountain gate, but they didn't look like ordinary religious people, two young monks came out to greet them, clasped their hands and said, "May I ask if the two donors want to enter the temple?"
"The two of us traveled here and missed our trip. We wanted to stay at your temple for a night. Is it convenient?" Feng Yanlang said.
The two young monks glanced at Tang Sai'er and saw that she was a woman. They said, "Donor, please wait a moment. We will report back after the young monks have asked the master in charge of the courtyard."
"Then there's little master Lao," Feng Yanlang said.
The young monk who spoke just now said a few words to the other one and then hurried back. The young monk who stayed behind clasped his hands together, made a bow, and stood in front of the mountain gate and stopped talking.
After a while, the young monk who went just now came back and said, "Two donors, please come in!"
Feng Yanlang and Tang Sai'er looked at each other, stepped into the mountain gate, and followed the young monk to the temple. After walking a few miles, we reached an open area and saw that although this Duzun Temple is not a famous temple, it is connected with halls and is full of incense.
The young monk led the two of them past the Zhenwu Hall, turned to the left, and entered a courtyard, which turned out to be a resting place for the monks. A monk wearing cassocks pushed out the door. He looked to be no more than forty years old. His eyes were shining brightly and he was full of energy. He must be the uncle in charge of the courtyard as mentioned by the young monk.
"Thank you, Master. My Excellency, Feng Yanlang. This is my friend Tang Sai'er. He missed his schedule due to a trip to the mountains. I would like to stay at your temple for a night. Is it convenient?" Feng Yanlang bowed deeply and said.
"The wild temple in the mountains was originally built to ferry people. Please help me with the two benefactors." After the uncle in charge of the courtyard said that, he shouted to a monk's room at the entrance of the courtyard, "Dr. Yuan, come and arrange a room for these two benefactors." "
The young monk named Bu Yuan came out of the monk's room and took Feng Yanlang with him to arrange their own accommodation. The abbot of the courtyard turned a corner of the room and walked out.
On the southwest slope of Duzun Temple, a set of steps extends out of the cliff, and a plank road is used at the front to hold up a pavilion that can accommodate three people sitting opposite each other. The words "Sun Viewing Platform" are written on the eaves of the pavilion facing the steps. It is the Sun Viewing Platform that is one of the six scenic spots.
A monk in yellow clothes stood on the sun viewing platform, looking into the distance.
The abbot of the courtyard slowly came up from the steps. He knew that the abbot brother was probably looking at the vast world outside the mountain.
The abbot of the Guanyuan slowly walked to the right of the abbot and followed his gaze. Beyond the mountains were rolling hills. Two long rivers flowed between the valleys. Small villages were dotted among the green mountains and green waters. White clouds floated from those mountain villages to the Duzun Mountain, becoming smoke under their feet.
"Brother Abbot, I heard that a lot of people have come to Zhendian over there in the past few days," the abbot of the courtyard said.
"Really? Have you seen Huizhong in the past few days?" the abbot asked.
"I've never seen it. Do you think something happened to Junior Brother Hui Zhong?"
"With his wit and martial arts skills, nothing should happen. Even if something happens, he will find a way to let us know."
"Then why has there been no news for more than ten days?"
"I think he must have found some clues and is continuing to investigate."
"Senior brother, two outsiders came to the temple just now. They said they missed their schedule while traveling in the mountains and wanted to stay overnight in our temple. They have been invited in."
"Really? Although there are often people staying overnight in this temple, most of them are believers at the foot of the mountain. Where are they from?"
"Judging from the accent, there is no doubt that the male donor is from Henan, and the female donor seems to be from Shandong."
"A man and a woman? Junior Brother Chen Mo, you immediately send people down the mountain to inquire about it. They are divided into two groups, one to the Jinpu and the other to the Monk Pagoda Temple. Focus on inquiring about the intentions of those coming from outside, and be careful not to alert Jimu Villa and "People from Guanghua Temple", it turned out that the abbot of the courtyard was actually the famous monk Chen Mo, and the abbot was the famous monk Ji Bu.
"Amitabha, that's good!" Chen Mo clasped his hands together and turned to leave.
Ji Bu glanced at the small town in the distance, then slowly walked out of the sun viewing platform and went down the steps. It was slowly getting dark. He returned to the monk's room, picked up a lantern and went out of the courtyard. He climbed the steps along the left side of the temple, passed a natural stone cave, and walked for half a stick of incense. He reached the top of Duzun Mountain and felt that he was coming from all directions. The wind makes the sky full of stars seem within reach.
Ji Bu concentrated his attention and looked northwest. It was completely dark, but he saw a bright light in the darkness. "It seems that there are a lot of people coming over there," Ji Bu thought.
Feng Yanlang sat alone in the room, thinking about what happened to him today when he met Wan Shitong. All the past memories came flooding back to him at once. Without wine, he had to drink tea one sip after another. Suddenly I heard a knock on the door. I stood up and opened the door. When I saw it was Tang Sai'er, I let him in.
"Brother Feng, thank you so much for today. I haven't even thanked you yet!" Tang Saier said with a smile.
"You're welcome, we met by chance, as it should be."
When Tang Saier heard his tone, she was so unfamiliar. In the afternoon, she even said that she liked herself. Unexpectedly, a feeling of unhappiness rose up in her throat and she wanted to explode.
"Miss Tang, come here to see me now. What's the matter?"
"Why, I can't come to you when I have nothing to do?"
"You and I are neither relatives nor friends, so why are you looking for me when you have nothing to do?"
After hearing this, Tang Sai'er's face suddenly darkened, "I'm here to say goodbye," so she said this out of anger, which she immediately regretted.
"Really? It's very late now. You'd better leave tomorrow."
Seeing this, he had no intention of staying at all. Tang Sai'er became even more angry, "I'll leave now, so that your grandpa won't have to look for me everywhere." After saying that, he turned around and went back to his room to pack his things and prepare to leave.
Feng Yanlang could hear the displeasure in Tang Sai'er's words and knew that what he said was unpleasant. However, he was not willing to apologize due to his nature, so he just followed Tang Sai'er back to the room angrily.
After a while, he heard very fast footsteps in the yard. Feng Yanlang knew that the girl was really leaving, but he was a little worried for a moment, so he had to walk out quickly and ran in front of Tang Sai'er to block the way.
Tang Saier was so angry that he could not leave even if he said he would let him go, but he would not leave even if he said he would not let him go, so he started fighting with Feng Yanlang. Feng Yanlang was worried that he had no place to relieve his depression, so he really didn't let go. Fortunately, Tang Saier was not weak in martial arts, so he simply didn't want to leave, but only wanted to defeat Feng Yanlang. The two fought with bare hands for more than ten rounds, and most of their anger was gone. However, Feng Yanlang somehow managed to capture Tang Sai'er's left hand.
Tang Sai'er watched Feng Yanlang grabbing her hand and not saying anything. She knew that this man was also a dull gourd at that time, so she didn't intend to argue with him.
"What are you doing? Still not letting go." The tone has softened a lot.
"I...you'd better not leave yet, we'll be together tomorrow."
"I'll leave by myself tomorrow." Tang Sai'er didn't want to lose her self-esteem, so she dropped these words, touched her left hand, and returned to her room with her head held high. I secretly thought in my heart, if he was not planning something big, how could he be like this? When he fell down, let him see his true ability and see if he could escape the palm of this girl. As I was thinking about it, I couldn't help but almost burst into laughter. I hurriedly closed the door with my hands behind my back and snickered.
Feng Yanlang looked at Tang Sai'er's back. The back of his mother and father leaving after a quarrel appeared in his mind like lightning. It gradually merged with Tang Sai'er's back. As he thought about it, his head started to hurt. This was a strange feeling. This back was the one he wanted to see but hated.
