I made an unsound decision [Related to the new book]

During this period of time, we have not been idle, and the worldview structure of the next Xianxia novel has been set up.

The new Xianxia novel is a variant of Urban Immortal Cultivation, with a funny light comedy style, but it is not completely finalized yet. More than 100,000 drafts have been scrapped due to deletions, deletions and revisions, and more than a dozen opening ideas have been lost. I will not release it until I am satisfied with the deletions and revisions!

I thought about it and made a decision that went against my wallet - to publish this short science fiction novel before publishing the long one.

To be short, it is actually more than 200,000 words long.

I would like to explore the inclusive breadth of online writing. Can this kind of repeatedly polished and only over 200,000 words long, but with absolutely complete characters and plot content, be able to survive in the online writing environment?

"Afterglow" will be available for sale when it is updated to 100,000 words, which is half the length. If the subscription results are too poor, there may be no recommended resources for subsequent Xianxia novels.

This is an unavoidable pressure. Dianniang’s recommendation mechanism now relies on big data.

Therefore, I am now making a lonely move, injecting the aura of greatness I have accumulated in the past two years into a serious work that is very likely not to be welcomed by the market.

I don’t know what I’m thinking. Isn’t it okay to write a light comedy about fairy tales and earn royalties? I have to go through such trouble.

But for things like creation, if you don’t work hard, you will die.
