In Chen Luo's previous life, when all children were growing up, there were a few characters that could never be bypassed.

The first is a monkey jumping out of a stone, fighting against the sky and the earth with a stick, turning somersaults thousands of miles, and shouting: Emperor, take turns, come to my house next year.

He taught the child what courage is.

Then, there was a naughty kid with two little crotches and a red bellyband, making mischief and making trouble. In the end, for the sake of the people in the city, he cut off his flesh to return to his father, cut off his bones to return to his mother, turned his life into a fight, and finally was reborn in the pure lotus root without causing any filth.

He told the child what responsibility means.

In the end, there is a slovenly beggar monk who drinks alcohol and eats meat, and scratches his body when he has nothing to do. He is crazy but serious. However, when anyone calls for help, he will do anything, but when someone is in trouble, no one will save him.

He told the child what mercy is.

Now, what comes to Chen Luo's mind is this book of the Living Buddha - "The Complete Biography of Jigong".

If the Eight Immortals in "The Legend of the Eight Immortals" represent men, women, old and young, rich and poor, symbolizing that everyone can become an immortal, then "The Complete Biography of Jigong" tells the world to be a happy and open-minded person, do more good deeds, and be self-sufficient. Be blessed.

Jigong, whose religious name was Daoji, was also called Monk Jidian because of his crazy behavior, and his common name was Li Xiuyuan. And his story begins with a kind man who could not give birth to a child...

"It is said that in Tiantai County, Taizhou Prefecture, there was a Beijing-based military envoy who resigned from office and returned to his hometown. His surname was Li Maochun, and he married his wife Wang. Li Maochun was good at doing good things at home, building bridges and roads, helping those in need, and giving cotton-padded clothes in winter and decoctions in summer. On this day, Master Li was wandering in the market, and everyone called him Li Shanren. Some people among them said: 'Li Shanren is not a really good person. If he is a really good person, how come he doesn't have a son?'"

Chen Luo woke up from his dream in the flower forest, and naturally couldn't wait to start writing "The Complete Biography of Jigong". This was the first chapter: Li Jiedu worshiped Buddha and asked for a son, and Zhen Luohao came to the world and was reincarnated.

Yun Siyao sat next to Chen Luo, studying ink for Chen Luo, while focusing on the article Chen Luo was writing. Chen Luo saw that Chen Luo's writing was flying, and he soon wrote about Li Shanren, bowing to the Buddha and praying for his son. But the Buddha statue fell to the ground, and Wang became pregnant a few days later. When the baby was about to be born, the courtyard was covered with red light and the fragrance was fragrant. However, the baby kept crying for three days.

It seemed that the weirdness of the story attracted Yun Siyao's attention. Her hand that was studying ink slowly slowed down, her delicate eyebrows slightly frowned, and she turned sideways to read Chen Luo's manuscript, because it was so close to the other side. Suddenly, Chen Luo smelled the fragrance of Yun Siyao's body. His mind swayed, and he quickly cheered up and continued writing.

Next, the abbot Xingkong of Guoqing Temple sent a congratulatory gift. Li Shanren told the story about the child who couldn't stop crying. Xingkong actually stopped crying and started laughing instead. Xingkong reached out and touched the baby's head and said——

"Don't cry, don't laugh. I know your origins."

"You come and I go, leaving it alone, so that everyone can rely on you."

After Chen Luo finished writing this limerick-like Buddhist verse, something suddenly changed.

I saw a red light emanating from the pages of the book, covering the entire room in an instant, giving rise to an inexplicable and fragrant fragrance. Yun Siyao subconsciously held Chen Luo's hand and pulled it behind him, while his whole body was full of righteousness. At this moment, another dragon roar suddenly came from the page. After the dragon roar, there was the sound of chanting scriptures.

The unfinished book page rose out of thin air, and for a moment a palm-sized shadow appeared on the page.

There is a venerable person sitting upright on a sacred deer, thinking deeply: Arhat sitting on a deer; there is an esteemed person raising his hands in celebration, and his heart is full of joy: Arhat Arhat; there is an Arhat holding an alms bowl, an Arhat holding a tower, and an Arhat sitting quietly; there is an Arhat carrying scriptures and walking through mountains and rivers. There are Arhats crossing the river; there are Arhats riding elephants, looking in all directions; there are Arhats with laughing lions, Arhats that are happy, and Arhats with hands; there are Arhats that are meditating, there are Arhats that dig ears, and there are Arhats with bananas; there are Arhats with treasure bags in the universe, and there are Arhats with cloth bags who are happy as they wish. There is the long-browed Arhat who knows everything about the world and understands everything; there is the gatekeeper Arhat, and there is the arhat who croaches on the tiger.

The seventeen arhats sat scattered up and down, and the chanting sound that could not be heard clearly was as sweet as the sound of heaven. Then, the phantoms of the seventeen arhats all bowed to Chen Luo.

Following this bow, a little golden light lit up on the tops of the seventeen shadowy figures. The golden light merged and turned into a palm-sized Arhat figure whose face could not be seen.

"When the Dharma is over here, I will come!" The vague Arhat said, and then walked towards Chen Luo. The seventeen Arhats all showed joy on their faces, and then disappeared one by one.

As the shadows of the seventeen Arhats dissipated, the blurry Arhat figures became clearer and clearer. They were almost identical to Chen Luo. He ignored Yun Siyao's obstruction and came directly to Chen Luo, moving toward Chen Luo Namaskar.

Chen Luo naturally knew the identity of the other party, so he clasped his hands and returned the greeting: "Venerable Kasyapa."

Venerable Kassapa, subduing the dragon Arhat!

The Subduing Dragon Arhat nodded slightly: "Those who mess with the law, thank you for your hard work."

Chen Luo smiled softly, and he understood that this was not the true body of the Arhat who subdued the dragon in the boundless Buddhist teachings of his previous life, but was manifested from the Buddhist principles contained in "The Complete Biography of Jigong". The phantoms of the seventeen Arhats are the essence of the Buddha's teachings after the Buddha's will.

"The Complete Biography of Jigong" is still unable to manifest Bodhisattva or even Buddha.

Looking at the Dragon Subduing Arhat who now looked exactly like himself, Chen Luo took advantage of the little time to ask about something irrelevant: "Why did you look like me?"

The "Arhat Subduing the Dragon" shook his head slightly: "What you see is your appearance; what others see is their appearance."

"Venerable Sir, Buddha is formless!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the "Arhat Who Subdued the Dragon" stepped forward and entered Chen Luo's mind.

"Senior sister, help me protect the Dharma!" Chen Luo said, sitting cross-legged. From "The Complete Biography of Jigong", it is written that when Li Xiuyuan stopped crying and laughing after the monk Xingkong revealed the fundamental source of his nature, Chen Luo felt blessed in his soul. , understand what is going to happen next.

Using a hint of Buddha's meaning in "The Complete Biography of Jigong" as a guide, we can open the book of Buddha and Demon in the Three Books of Soul!

So far, Chen Luo has the book of life and death, the book of demons and ghosts, and the book of immortals, but there is no trace of the book of Buddha and demons.

Today, it’s about to open.

"What book will it be?"

Chen Luo's mind fell into the sea of souls. In that vast sea of souls, a ray of light shone like the North Star in the sky. It was the entrance to the dreamland flower forest. Under the light, one of the Book of Life and Death and the List of Gods are in the east and the other is in the south.

At this time, the golden body of the Dragon-Subduing Arhat appeared in the sea of souls. He first looked at the book of life and death, and nodded slightly: "In the world of mortals, good and evil will be rewarded."

Then he looked at the list of gods and smiled softly: "The way of heaven is clear and the stars are in their proper place."

Finally, he looked into Chen Luo's mind, clasped his hands and said, "Be compassionate and save all sentient beings!"

After the words fell, the figure of Arhat Subduing the Dragon turned into golden light and floated to the west. The golden light gathered in the west and condensed into the shape of a book.

Chen Luo looked closely and saw that the book was not a book like the Book of Life and Death, nor was it a scroll like the List of Gods, but three neat volumes of scriptures stacked together. Although it is just an outline, the words on it can still be distinguished.

At the top is the Dharma; in the middle is the Treatise; at the bottom is the Sutra.

Chen Luo was stunned and instantly understood what it was.

The Tathagata said: I have a collection of "Dharma" to talk about heaven; a collection of "Lunacle" to talk about the earth; a collection of "Sutra" to save ghosts.

Guanyin said: My Tripitaka of Mahayana Buddhism can transcend the dead and ascend to heaven, can save people from suffering and escape from suffering, can cultivate the body of infinite life, and can do things without coming and going!

The Book of Buddhas and Demons - Mahayana Buddhism and Tripitaka Sutra!

But just as the phantom outline appeared in the Book of Buddha and Demon, golden light suddenly burst out, and the light almost illuminated the entire sea of souls. Chen Luo only felt a blur in front of his eyes. When he opened his eyes again, he was standing on the road to the heaven of martial arts.

"What's going on? How come Hao Duanduan was attracted to the road to martial arts and heaven."

Chen Luo just had doubts in his mind, and suddenly felt something in his heart. He looked down and was suddenly startled. In the unknown distance below Six Thousand Miles of Martial Arts, there is an illusory golden light reaching the sky, stretching to the depths, thousands of miles away!

"Buddhism!" Even though he was now the incarnation of the mind, Chen Luo still felt his heart beating violently.

This is a new Buddhist avenue.

The road to heaven for thousands of miles!

The true nature of the Tripitaka Sutra is actually the thousand-mile road to heaven of Mahayana Buddhism!

Just when Chen Luo was stunned, a voice suddenly sounded in Chen Luo's ears: "Little guy, are you going to exhaust this old man to death?"

Chen Luo was stunned, turned his head, and saw a vicissitudes of life old man, riding a green bull, unexpectedly appeared in the dark.

"Senior!" Chen Luo saluted quickly. The old man shook his head lightly, his eyes falling on the illusory golden avenue.

"Hmm...Buddhist Avenue feels purer and a bit ethereal than the bald people's avenue in ancient times."

"It's just that it's still a shadow. It can't withstand a bump."

"Put it away first, lest those demon buddies bother them and annoy them!"

As he said that, he pointed towards the illusory golden avenue. The ten thousand-mile avenue actually folded up like paper. The avenue folded smaller and smaller, and finally turned into a small point of light, which re-entered Chen Luo's mind. among.

Chen Luo wanted to ask the old man riding the bull, but when he turned his head, the space was empty, as if everything that just happened was an illusion.

"Tao Ancestor?" Chen Luo thought in his mind, but judging from his appearance, he didn't want to have too much contact with him.

Chen Luo looked up and down, left and right again, and there was indeed no trace of the Golden Light Avenue. Then he breathed a sigh of relief and returned to the sea of souls. The Western Tripitaka Sutra was still suspended in the air, with only a phantom outline.

But at this moment, the Tripitaka Sutra seemed to convey a message to Chen Luo.

"east……"

Chen Luo frowned slightly: Xiangdong?

------Digression-----

Hey, it’s so touching to write about Jigong.

I also recalled the days when I just graduated and wrote "Living Buddha Ji Gong" with Master.

Well, it’s Chen Haoming’s version.
