On the silk book left by Confucius, there is a formula.
An article on how to practice Qi.
Although I have never seen this magic formula, with years of research on Qi, I can see through its function at a glance.
And this is not an ordinary Qi training method.
There are improved Qi induction methods, optimized route diagrams, methods to promote Qi integration into the body, and some conjectures and theories on "using Qi".
I saw the shadow of the book I was compiling above, but this book is obviously more mature and complete than the one I compiled myself.
Confucius... was worthy of being a genius.
It only took him less than two years for me to pursue a career that I have never been able to accomplish in my entire life.
Just by taking the seeds from me, a towering tree was grown.
I introduced Qi into my body according to the method described in the formula, and then moved it around.
This practice was indeed different from usual. Yuan Qi surged and expanded in the meridians. The original meridians simply could not withstand this level of Yuan Qi passing through at the same time. The pain was so intense that it was so painful.
】
But the instructions say that this is normal.
The meridians can be slowly warmed and strengthened by Yuan Qi, or they can be broken and then established.
I endured the pain, and after practicing Qi for two and a half weeks, I controlled the raging waves of Yuan Qi to rush towards the sea of qi.
Immediately afterwards, the sea of qi broke through.
I felt that the whole world suddenly became clear in an instant.
No, it’s not cheerful, but I see things that I don’t normally see.
I saw it in my own body.
Looking inside.
I looked inside into a dry seabed.
Before I had time to think about it, a feeling of emptiness came over me.
There seems to be a hole in the body that is constantly craving, and even if all the energy is filled into it, it cannot fill this hole.
Dantian.
The seabed is actually in my Dantian! ?
I used the improved Xing Qi method and pumped a large amount of Yuan Qi into my body to fill the seabed in my Dantian until the feeling of emptiness slowly disappeared.
Look inside again.
The dry seabed in Dantian has turned into a vast ocean.
Is this considered a success in practicing Qi?
maybe.
Does this count as completing my agreement with the Spirit King?
I have no idea……
Looking at the handwriting on the silk book in my hand, this Qi training method seems to be mocking my life's hard work, and it is not as good as some people's hot-headedness.
This world is so unfair.
But now I am grateful for this injustice.
It is because of this injustice that someone is able to solve the problems that have plagued me throughout my life.
Leaving the inner view, I found that the scene in front of me had changed.
Becoming both strange and familiar.
If I remember correctly, the last time I saw this scene was decades ago...
It was a huge fireball.
It appeared in front of me again.
Just like last time, it exerted an inexplicable attraction on me, giving me an uncontrollable desire to touch it.
Unlike last time, I controlled myself and didn't reach out to touch it.
The fireball and I stayed in the void for an unknown amount of time, until a huge sense of separation came, my eyes blurred, and I returned to the human world again.
As soon as I returned to the human world, my feet softened and I collapsed directly on the ground.
My whole body felt weak, and I felt hungry in my belly.
My eyes went dark and I didn't know how long I had been there.
However, I think it will take a long time.
A thin layer of dust fell on the table in front of me.
I looked inside my body and found that every part of my body was protected by a layer of Yuan Qi, and the Qi sea in my Dantian had disappeared and returned to the shape of a seabed.
Apparently, it was the Yuan Qi in my body that saved my life, otherwise I would have probably starved to death.
I forced myself to find some dry food from the cupboard, but I could still eat it.
After filling my stomach, I practiced for a while to fill my Dantian again. Then I went out to find the nearest house and asked the time.
Seven days have actually passed!
After not eating or drinking for seven days, no wonder he looked like that when he woke up.
It took me a while to practice. Fortunately, my physical fitness also improved through practice, and my physical condition quickly recovered.
The days that followed were another unhurried practice time.
Although the sensory time was not long, I did stay from the fireball for a full seven days.
Without touching the fireball, I gained nothing.
Just like when Yin Xi didn't touch the fireball, but still got the method of inducing energy, I also got something.
I learned the date of my death.
God can really play tricks on people. I just received the news of Confucius' death, and then I knew the date of my own death.
It's hard to tell whether God is kidding or not.
But whether it’s true or not, I chose to believe it.
I don't have much time, and I still have a lot to do during this time.
The first thing is to confirm Ge Tian's theory.
I recruited some of the best students I had ever had.
Yin Xi, Yang Ziju, Xin Ling, Geng Sangchu, and Bai Ju.
The reunion between master and apprentice after so many years was naturally accompanied by an emotional scene.
But I'm in a hurry.
I know that today Yin Xi has become the founder of the school; I also know that Yang Ziju has been renamed Yang Zhu and is regarded as Yang Zi, the founder of the school.
Xin Ling accepted a disciple named Fan Li; Geng Sang was obsessed with health preservation; and Bao Ju became an official in the Zhou capital.
These disciples each have their own future, but now I don’t have time to praise them.
After I taught them the qi training method written by Confucius, I let them go home. All they had to do was send me a letter every month to inform me of the progress of my practice.
Cold comes and summer comes, autumn harvests and winter hides.
In just one year, Yin Xi was the first to break through the sea of qi, clearly understood the Qi sense, guided Qi into the Dantian, and became a practitioner.
Not only Yin Xi himself, but also many people in Louguan Taoism he founded have embarked on the path of spiritual practice.
This doesn't surprise me.
Yin Xi has been using the Yin Qi method to breathe out all year round. Although the Yuan Qi introduced into the body does not travel through the meridians, it is also subtly transforming his body, making his body more adaptable to the changes brought about by Yuan Qi. .
Many disciples of Louguan Taoism he founded have learned Yin Xi's breathing method and have been using Qi for a long time.
Therefore, after he obtained the Qi training method compiled by Confucius, he should be the first person to embark on the path of spiritual practice.
This doesn't prove anything.
In the second year, Yang Ziju, Xin Ling, and Geng Sangchu entered Taoism one after another.
Among the group of people back then, only Bo Ju could not break through the Qi Sea.
But this is not a question of Bai Ju’s qualifications.
It's just that as an official in the capital of Zhou, he was usually busy with government affairs, so he delayed his practice.
But unfortunately, none of them saw the fireball.
But the disciples started practicing one after another, which proved what Ge Tian said at the beginning.
I was indeed wrong.
Perhaps it is a preconceived notion, but I have always believed that one should first feel Qi and then start practicing.
After all, even I have to feel Qi first.
If you can't even feel Qi, and you don't know anything about Qi, how can you talk about using Qi to move Qi?
But I forgot one thing.
If you can't feel Qi, it means that you are wrong about how to move Qi at most, but there is no hindrance to how to draw Qi.
Yin Xi is the best example.
The original version of Yinqi method was improved from Yin Xi's breathing method.
Even though Yin Xi couldn't feel Qi back then, he could still draw Qi into his body by instinct.
This is enough to explain the problem.
It's just that at that time, I was only concentrating on the method of inducing Qi, and I didn't pay attention to this point.
In other words, I noticed it but didn't care.
Facts have proved that Ge Tian's deduction is correct.
Feeling Qi is not something you do deliberately. As long as you practice step by step, break through the sea of Qi, and open your Dantian, the feeling of Qi will come naturally.
However, although this inference is correct, it overturned some of my previous guesses and left me with another question.
Why did I feel so cold in the first place?
At the beginning, I only knew about the existence of Qi, but I did not start practicing it.
This does not conform to the logic of normal people feeling Qi.
I carefully recalled the Qi awakening process between myself and other disciples, and I discovered a difference.
Fireball.
Could it be that the fireball was the reason why I felt so cold?
What is that fireball?
However, I did not delve into this question that was destined to remain unanswered because I ran out of time.
In the third year, the remaining Bai Ju finally broke through the sea of qi and started the path of spiritual practice. It was also in this year that Ge Tian's period of mourning expired and he returned to Peixian County.
I met Ge Tian again.
Compared to the last time he left, he is much more mature now, and he is already an unsmiling and humble gentleman.
He's not as talkative as he used to be.
However, I still miss the days when he talked nonsense.
Ge Tian came to my residence and worshiped me as his teacher.
I didn't make things difficult for him with those three questions.
In this way, Ge Tian became my only direct disciple and successor.
The two of us, master and disciple, began to study the notes left by Confucius.
At the end of that Qi training method, many conjectures about the use of Qi methods were mentioned.
For example, how to use Qi to continuously strengthen every inch of the body and make one's body become a saint.
For example, how to use Qi to stir the soul and control the consciousness of other beings.
For example, injecting Qi into words to try to enhance their power.
For example, injecting Qi into objects and trying to control them with will.
For example, what can lead Qi out of the body and turn it into a physical entity...
There are countless of them.
Unfortunately, these methods are only conjectures and theories without concrete implementation methods.
This is also the only flaw in this Qi training method.
Confucius wrote at the end of practicing Qi: "I have a lot of time to do this, but I don't want to be so cumbersome, so I asked Li Gong."
I……
There is no other way, the dead will be the most vulnerable.
Ge Tian and I spent three years studying the conjectures left by Confucius, but due to the lack of basic technical support, we could only scratch the surface of everything.
Body training, talisman, object control, energy condensation...
Ge Tian is very talented. He not only helped me a lot in research, but also integrated Qi Qi training into Qimen Dunjia, and developed a Qimen tactic of arranging troops.
In addition to the research on Yongqi, I also researched some other things.
Two of them are more important.
One is the origin of Qi.
In my subsequent research, I discovered that Qi does not only exist in the outside world.
In fact, Qi is born from the human body.
However, as we age, if we do not embark on the path of spiritual practice, Qi will continue to escape and leave the human body.
Theoretically, if you start practicing Qi in childhood, you can break through the Qi sea without much effort.
This condition will remain until after the age of five.
After a person enters spiritual practice, in addition to introducing external energy into the body, he can also refine internal energy.
But this is another way of practice.
I didn't go deep into it, but gave it to Ge Tian to study.
I don't have much time, and I shouldn't waste it in a place like this.
I believe that with Ge Tian's talent, he can definitely produce results.
The second more important study is the role of Qi.
Qi is not something that can only be used for practice.
The magic of it is that they make anything extraordinary.
When Qi is given to words, words become powerful.
When Qi is given to an item, the item will be controlled.
If Qi is given to the body, the body will become stronger.
Everything can be given Qi.
What if the ethereal soul is given Qi?
What if time is given Qi?
What if Tao is given Qi?
What will happen?
I don't know, this is just some kind of guess, just like the difficult problem Confucius gave me, I left him to Ge Tian.
Another year, I felt death approaching.
Suddenly, I saw a huge fireball.
I called Ge Tian to the window and asked him to write down what I said.
Thus, there is this letter that you see that spans the river of time.
What year and month is it now?
Haha, I guess not many people remember me.
Or could it be said that everyone in the world is praising my name?
Who is the current emperor?
Is that guy Confucius as famous as he said?
Are there still dragons raging in today's world?
Later in life, do you know what practicing Qi is?
If he knew it, it would prove that Lao Chen's lifelong efforts were not in vain.
If you don’t know, it means...
I still haven't been able to fulfill my agreement with the Spirit King.
Revitalize the human race...
Too difficult, too difficult.
But I never thought about giving up.
Descendants, if you are a human race, or if you have a human heart, then please take this letter and go find the descendants of the Ge family.
Descendants of Ge Tian.
Ge Tian said that he would build a big clan that everyone would know about.
I believe in him.
If you know, go find them.
Mine, Confucius's, and Ge Tian's.
We leave everything to you.
Please help me fulfill my agreement with the Spirit King.
Revitalize the human race!
May the mountains and rivers be safe and the human race prosper forever.
Li Dan's masterpiece.
——
This is the last thing left by the master.
Since then, both of my teachers are no longer in this world.
Perhaps you have guessed, I am Ge Tian.
In future generations, I will build a big clan and pass on the lifelong efforts of my two teachers and me to the clan from generation to generation.
To be honest, I don’t know if I would have succeeded.
But both teachers believed in me.
I did another divination for myself, and the divination was the same as the previous two times.
But I'm still a little worried.
It is somewhat unreliable to leave only my inheritance.
So I found a few senior brothers.
If there is no Ge family in later generations, there will always be the Yin family, the Yang family, the Xin family, the Geng family, and the Bai family.
Even if they are all gone, there is still the Louguan Tao left by senior brother Yin Xi, the health preserving Tao left by senior brother Geng Sangchu, and the Quanxing left by senior brother Yang Zhu.
These places preserve the heritage of teachers.
Remember, revitalize the human race!
