Peixian is a good place with mountains, water and woods.

Although I grew up in Chen Guoxiangyi, my hometown is Song Guopei County.

After parting ways with Yang Ziju, I went to live in seclusion in Peixian County, where I farmed my own food and weaved my own clothes.

But I never thought that reputation has wings. Even if you don't spread it deliberately, people will come one after another to ask for advice on how to practice Taoism, academic purposes, and life skills.

I couldn't resist, so I taught them something.

Of course, some things will not be taught to them in vain. It happened that my research on Qi had hit a bottleneck, so I decided to find a breakthrough in these people.

I divide Qi practice into four stages.

Feel Qi, draw Qi, accept Qi, and use Qi.

Although I have not yet developed a method that allows ordinary people to easily feel Qi, I have already passed this stage.

Since I can feel Qi, it means that millions of ordinary people in this world can feel Qi.

I'll always find a way.

The method of eliciting qi is readily available and there is no need to study it carefully.

However, I discovered some problems during the research.

During the process of inducing qi, I discovered that although the qi introduced into the body does not remain for a long time, it can flow through the body according to a certain route.

I didn't know what these lines were, so I wrote and sent them to friends I met while traveling.

His name is Chang Sangjun, and he is a heterogeneous (mixed race) who is much younger than me.

Although he is a foreign species, in his cognition, he has always considered himself to be a human race.

I saw the shadow of the Spirit King in him.

Chang Sangjun is also a doctor with very good medical skills.

He knows much more about the human body than I do, so I told him about my physical condition, hoping that he could give me an answer.

Not long after, I received a reply from Mr. Chang Sang.

In his letter, he did not answer my questions first, but said very excitedly that he had accepted an extremely talented disciple named Ji Yueren, and that his skills finally had a successor.

I was happy for him, but also a little disappointed.

I have wasted half my life and have countless disciples, but who can inherit what I have learned in my life?

If I cannot fulfill my agreement with the Spirit King, who can help me open a way for the human race?

Yin Xi? Yangziju? Xin Ling? Geng Sangchu? Or Bo Ju?

Everything seems to work, but there seems to be something missing.

I felt a little lost for a moment and looked down the letter.

The second half of the letter is the answer given to me by Chang Sangjun. He told me that this kind of thing was mentioned in the "Huangdi Neijing" and is called meridians. Although it is spread throughout the body like blood vessels, it is different from the meridians that transport blood. Blood vessels and meridians are the places where qi circulates in the human body.

The so-called essence, qi, and spirit are stored in the body, spirit is contained in the soul, and qi travels in the meridians.

Meridians are where Qi circulates...

I stared at this line and felt the pull of some kind of fate.

Meridians are where Qi circulates...

The meridians are the places where Qi circulates...

Why did I name this wonderful force "Qi" in the first place?

Is this really what I think?

Or maybe it’s the “Tao” that exists somewhere?

This may be the first time in my life that I am so close to the "Tao", but there is no trace of the "Tao". What I reach out to catch is the wind that is passing by.

The theory of meridians is very useful for the study of Qi.

Because the qi introduced into the body cannot be retained for a long time, I tried many times using the method of guiding qi to travel around the body, and finally drew a complete meridian map.

At the same time, I found that the parts of the body where the Qi travels through the meridians will become stronger, and a small part of the Qi is absorbed by the body.

Although the Qi absorbed into the body cannot be recycled again, they have given the body extraordinary strength and speed. I feel that my body has begun to transform, and I can even pull up the willow tree in front of my door.

At the same time, I also found that after Qi travels around in the meridians, more Qi will be introduced into the body next time, and at the same time, more Qi can be accommodated in the meridians.

It's like the meridians have been widened.

But even so, the Qi introduced into the body will still not stay in the body for a long time, but because the amount is large, the time for it to escape will also be correspondingly longer.

This is not the way to go.

A leaking container, no matter how slowly it leaks, cannot be used to hold water.

I have to find a way to contain Qi in my body.

Accepting Qi is the third step in practicing Qi.

As for the last step of "using Qi", I already have some clues. Although the idea is not mature, it can be regarded as a zero breakthrough, so I can put it aside for the time being.

The most important thing now is to study how to absorb Qi.

If you can't contain Qi in your body, then even if you try to use Qi to achieve tricks, it's just empty talk.

If you insist on saying it, there is no distinction between the four steps of practicing Qi, but relatively speaking, absorbing Qi is indeed the most important step.

Cultivation and seeking the path are things that have been with me in my later years.

Before I knew it, those who came to study began to claim to be my disciples, and before I knew it, my disciples had spread all over the world.

But I don’t remember having so many disciples.

No matter what, this is also the Tao.

I have a good mentality. Although I have not yet attained the Tao, I have learned to use the Tao to comfort myself.

Apart from all the disturbances, life in Peixian County is relatively peaceful.

Until one day, the arrival of a person broke the peace.

That is a person I have always wanted to find, but have never set out to find him.

Confucius.

Today, Confucius is known as Confucius by many people.

When I saw Confucius again, I was still amazed by his talent.

Qi has the effect of prolonging life, I understand this, but Confucius is now fifty-one years old, but he still looks like he is twenty.

But at this time, although he still looked twenty years old, he was a little less youthful and frivolous.

Confucius came to my door with his disciples.

Over the past few years, Confucius has grown to the point where he is as famous as me. His knowledge is profound, and it is said that the two of us are on par with each other.

But the purpose of his coming this time was not to compete with me.

When we were parting in Zhoudu, I once sought his guidance.

At that time, he said that he had never attained enlightenment and needed to travel again.

I have also heard about his experiences over the years, traveling around various countries and preaching his Confucian principles.

There are two of us, one is Confucian and the other is Taoist.

He came here this time probably to discuss with me the principles of Confucianism and Taoism.

I welcomed him into the hall and asked him: "You are here! I heard that you are already a wise man in the north. Have you achieved enlightenment?"

Confucius said: "I have not attained enlightenment."

I asked, "Where do you find the path?"

Confucius said: "I seek magic, but I haven't been able to learn it for five years."

I asked again: "Where did you seek enlightenment from?"

Confucius said: "I sought the Tao from yin and yang, but I could not find the Tao in twelve years."

I had to sigh: "Where on earth is the great road in this world?"

Confucius shook his head and looked at me.

He actually opened his mouth and started preaching to me about his benevolence and righteousness.

I listened carefully and found that it made sense, but it was still too naive.

Regarding the theory of benevolence and righteousness, if there were only humans in the world, then this theory would be the number one in the world.

But the world is not that simple.

Dragons, humans, aliens.

Benevolence and righteousness will only be a knife that kills people.

I asked Confucius: "Have you ever seen a real dragon?"

Confucius shook his head: "I've only heard about it, never seen it."

I know he is being humble. I once heard that he personally pinned a half-dragon to the ground in a certain country. I think that even if he has never seen a real dragon, he still has power that is not inferior to that of a real dragon.

I told him: "A true dragon is valued by blood and strong by strength. Benevolence and righteousness are just digestions for him, because he is a natural enemy to the human race."

"It's like dust chaff entering the eyes, making the world look upside down; mosquitoes and flies bite the skin, and they can't sleep well all night."

"Some things are not what you ask for, but they will find you on their own, just like the dragon."

"No matter how kind and righteous you are at this time, it's useless."

"Benevolence and righteousness poison and harass people's hearts. There is no greater harm than benevolence and righteousness."

"If you don't want the world to lose its simplicity, you can follow nature and morality will always be established. Why rush to promote benevolence and righteousness, like beating a big drum to find a lost child?"

"White cranes don't have to be washed every day to be white, and crows don't have to be dyed every day to be black. The essence of black and white is not worth debating; the title of honor is not worth exaggerating."

"The spring water has dried up, and the fish are trapped together on the land, sucking each other with moisture and moistening each other with saliva. It would be better to forget each other in the rivers and lakes."

"The so-called benevolence and righteousness are just your wishful dedication."

After listening to my words, Confucius fell silent.

The taller disciple next to him looked a little trembling, as if he was afraid of something.

Later I learned that many of Confucius's disciples were defeated by him. When he heard that I was misinterpreting Confucius's teachings so brazenly, he was afraid that Confucius would punch me and paralyze me.

I know the strength of Confucius, and this trip is really a journey through hell.

However, the fifty-one-year-old Confucius was somewhat restrained and could not do anything like taking action just because he said so.

Of course, he didn't change his mind because of my words.

Benevolence and righteousness are something he has insisted on for half his life. As a person who has also insisted on it for half his life, and even for his whole life, I deeply understand that feeling.

I didn't try to persuade him anymore, but turned to talk about something else.

He introduced me to what he saw and heard while traveling around various countries. I told him about the research on Qi and the method of inducing Qi that I learned from Yin Xi.

I asked Confucius to work with me to create a method of absorbing Qi.

Because of Confucius' outstanding talent and special body, after Qi entered his body, it did not escape outwards, but concentrated in one place.

I used to be unable to feel Qi and didn't know where my meridians were. I was naturally blind to this situation.

But these days are different.

After I asked Confucius to draw Qi into his body, I no longer cared about them and let them flow freely. I pinched Confucius's pulse gate and guided the Qi to flow through the meridians in Kongqiu's body little by little.

Qi runs very smoothly and smoothly.

Perhaps it is because Confucius has been practicing Qi all year round. His meridians are much thicker than mine and can hold more Qi, so I feel very strenuous when activating those Qi.

But soon, a strange feeling emerged.

The Qi in Kongqiu's body broke away from my control and flew through the meridians according to a strange route.

Like a wild horse running wild.

Confucius said that he had no control over it and that it was Qi's spontaneous activity.

This is so amazing!

I took the meridian diagram that I had drawn before and accurately marked the movement path of Qi in Kongqiu's body on the meridian diagram, and then carefully watched the movement of this Qi.

After a while, this Qi seemed to be tired, and the speed finally slowed down.

However, it did not escape outwards, but moved somewhere along the meridians in a purposeful manner.

I know, maybe next I will know the reason why Confucius' body can absorb Qi.

The Qi went all the way down in my perception, and then suddenly disappeared when it passed through a certain meridian.

That's right, suddenly!

I picked up the meridian chart and looked at it, and found that it was the Qihai point of Ren meridian.

Qihai...

I couldn't help but think of the letter Chang Sangjun wrote to me.

Meridians are where Qi circulates.

The meridians are the places where Qi circulates.

Qi Hai...could it be Qi Hai?

I felt as if some great terror had fallen upon me, but besides the heart season, I also felt a surprise.

I suddenly thought, if this is the case, could the "Qi" mentioned by the ancients refer to "Qi" in a sense?

Although I can't find any evidence, I firmly believe it.

At my request, Confucius stayed in Pei County and helped me study the method of Qi training.

Although Confucius said at first that he would be busy promoting his theory of benevolence and righteousness, after I told him that this was a major event for the human race, he hesitated a little and then agreed.

Living with him was a disciple named Ge Tian.

Those days were perhaps my happiest time.

I have been engaged in Qi research for half my life, but my talent has limited me, leaving me with only theory but no practice.

Confucius was extremely talented, but he wasted his great talent by focusing on academic research, and now he can only hit people with his fists.

Now that the two of us are together, we can learn from each other's strengths and make rapid progress in research.

We discovered that although the Qi Sea is called the sea, it is actually not a place to accommodate Yuan Qi, but more like a portal.

Behind the door is the place that can really accommodate Qi.

Ordinary people also have this place, but because ordinary people cannot feel Qi.

Even if you successfully feel Qi, it will not lead to Qi entering your body.

Even if Qi is activated, the sea of Qi in the body is naturally closed.

Therefore, few people can truly grasp the mystery of Qi.

Confucius and I gave the place after the Qi Sea a name: Dantian.

I don’t know why, but this name suddenly came to my mind.

Just like when this wonderful power was named "Qi".

Time passes, no one knows whether it is cold or hot.

I don’t know how long Confucius lived here.

The Qi Sea is not so easy to open. Confucius and I discussed it for a long time and felt that we should use a large amount of Qi to attack the Qi Sea, so that we can open up the Qi Sea and enter the Dantian.

However, it is also difficult for an ordinary person to introduce a large amount of Qi.

Qi can only widen a trace of meridians by walking within the body for a week.

I don’t know how long I have been practicing now, but my meridians are only one-tenth as strong as Confucius.

I don’t know how long it will take to clear the sea of qi.

Confucius left and continued to preach his benevolence and righteousness, but he kept his disciple Ge Tian to help me with my follow-up research.
