Let me start by apologizing to everyone.
In the past month, since I got positive, I have basically been updating once a day, and the update speed is too slow.
I review.
On the one hand, it’s because I’m too busy during the Chinese New Year, and the COVID-19 keeps coming back and forth, so I’m not in good health.
On the other hand, it is also because I am preparing a new book and have to communicate with the editor to revise the draft, which takes up part of my time.
Anyway, the updates in the past month have been really slow, sorry!
Let’s go back to “The Big Villain”.
In fact, before writing this speech, I have a lot to say.
I would like to talk about my experience writing this book, some stories that happened while I was writing the book, and the changes in my own life.
But when I typed the words "Remarks on the completion of this book", I suddenly didn't know where to start.
So the following content may be a bit random, I will just say whatever comes to my mind.
The first is the ending of "The Villain".
To be honest, the outline of "The Big Villain" only ends with Wei Changtian repelling the four-nation coalition forces under Fengyuan City, and there is no outline after that.
Even the existing outline is somewhat different from what was actually written.
There was no outline, and the map in the later period was too big and too fast. I felt that I was a little unsure, so I decided to let the story quickly reach the end after destroying Qian and returning to the two countries.
You may also feel the rush, as if there is something missing in the middle.
In fact, I also know what is missing.
But under the world structure of "The Big Villain", my imagination of such a story has basically been written.
In other words, it’s not that I can’t write more, but that I can’t write anything new anymore.
If I had to add more content, it would just be to kill a few more emperors, marry a few more wives, destroy a few more sects, and let all the sons of heaven show their faces.
I didn’t really want to write repetitive content, so I quickly filled in the gaps and pushed it directly to the finale.
Oh, by the way, the truth about the world, the shackles of the first rank, and the ending of everyone including Wei Changtian, these have all been set long ago.
So even if more content is added, the ending will not change.
Secondly, let’s talk about the changes in “The Big Villain” from the beginning to the end.
If you follow it from beginning to end, many people may have a feeling.
It's just that the first half of this book is more like a refreshing novel, but since Xiao Feng's death, especially after the Yuanzhou City massacre, it seems to have changed into a different style, which is a bit depressing.
To be honest, this change has a lot to do with the outline.
Secondly, maybe I am a person who pays too much attention to "logic" and "rationality".
This should not be difficult to understand.
Many times, "cool" and "reasonable" are difficult to reconcile, and even have a natural contradiction.
After all, the protagonist cannot be the only smart person in this world, and everyone else is a fool.
And since others are not stupid, the protagonist's behavior is often unpleasant.
So how to find an average between cool and reasonable is the question I thought about the most while writing "The Big Villain", and I also think the next book should be better.
As for some tragic designs.
What should I say about this kind of thing? The benevolent sees benevolence and the wise see wisdom.
Tragedy is indeed easier to sublimate the plot, stir up emotions, and make people remember.
Even in many cases, tragedy is more justified.
But in the same way, it is indeed easy to lose readers and attract criticism by issuing knives.
According to the original outline, many supporting characters would actually die.
But when I wrote about those plots, I still felt that I shouldn’t cause trouble for everyone.
really.
Life is not easy anymore, there is no need to be so bitter and hateful.
But I also don’t want to leave a book that everyone will forget after reading it.
Therefore, if you have ever felt emotional, sad, or inspired when reading a certain chapter or sentence, it means that I have at least written a little bit of what I wanted to write.
About grades.
Compared with the first book I wrote, the income and various data of "The Big Villain" have more than ten times increased.
Qidian has more than 10,000 high-end customers, and QQ browser has more than 800,000 readers.
Thank you very much to every reader!
As for the next book, I want to give it a try and see if I can go further.
Oh, yes, let me mention the new book here.
"Tang Ye" is still a fairy tale.
Just like "The Villain", there are no gods flying around in the sky, so I am more inclined to write about "people".
It is different from "The Big Villain" in that it has a completely different creativity and world view, and naturally it is also a completely different story.
The architecture will be smaller and more detailed.
The characters will be more fleshed out (not literally).
The story would definitely be smarter.
"Tang Ye" has been released on Qidian.
If you are interested, you can collect it.
If you are a reader of QQ Browser and QQ Reading, you can also download Qidian Collection to read it.
Because now Qidian’s books need about 500,000 words to be synchronized on the free end, and the first 200,000 words of Qidian are also free.
More importantly, for Qidian books, it is really important to read the data in the early stage.
Thank you everyone!
Okay, that’s pretty much all I want to say.
"The Big Villain" was written for a year and a half, and Wei Changtian's story has come to an end.
To be honest, I feel a bit disappointed.
Before, I had only experienced this feeling when I finished the book I was reading. Unexpectedly, one day I would become the person who drew the sentence.
But it’s the same as what I said at the end of the text.
Every story has an ending, and every journey will eventually come to an end.
But the road is still long, and there will be new stories waiting for us.
Finally, if you have seen this, no matter who you are or what stage of life you are currently experiencing, I hope your future journey will be smooth sailing.
It doesn’t matter if you feel tired, you might as well stop and take a rest, and then continue moving forward bravely.
Then use the last sentence of the text to end this speech.
"Everyone, thank you for your hard work!"
"See you in another world!"
