In fact, Ye Feng's words conveyed at least the following information to the ears of the seven sect leaders:
The first point is that Ye Feng has a master. But regarding this point, when Ye Feng's lectures caused the vision of heaven and earth, they already had a rough guess. Until now, Ye Feng personally admitted that such a guess is more likely. . However, these seven of them are indeed old foxes, and they still don't fully believe it. After all, if they want to completely believe it, then only the master who invited Ye Feng or the big shot himself appears in person. Otherwise, it is almost impossible for them to completely believe that Ye Feng is not that big shot. Moreover, I still have doubts about whether Ye Feng has a teacher. Even if the possibility of this suspicion is small, it will not disappear from the seven of them. I have to say that an old fox is an old fox.
The second point is that Ye Feng’s teaching ability is beyond doubt. We often say, "To judge whether a person has completely mastered the abilities and knowledge he has learned, you can judge whether you can teach it to others." For example, if you are learning calculus, how to judge whether you have completely mastered it depends on whether you can teach another person the calculus you have learned. Because when you teach calculus to the next person, you have to simplify the complex and go from the simple to the deep in order to make another person who doesn't understand understand. This process of "turning the complex into simplicity, from the simple to the deep" is something that only those who truly master calculus can do. If you can't do it, it means you don't fully understand something.
Pu Hong, Zhang Ziling and Cheng Xi understood that Ye Feng was able to create such a vision of the three schools of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism that was recognized by heaven and earth. His own understanding of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism was no longer inferior to his own.
And to teach such a disciple, what an amazing person his master must be. Of course, this sentence assumes that Ye Feng really has a master, no, a teacher. After all, the young man in front of him just now, he said his teacher There was more than one disciple, and he was the worst. This makes it difficult for them to imagine and understand. If it is true, then how powerful his teacher must be? But the world is so big, there is a world outside the world, and there are strong people above the strong. Maybe there is a truly strong person who can treat the Half-Step True Ancestor as an ant?
I have to admire the cautious nature of these seven people. There are indeed such people in this world, namely Ye Feng, but it's a pity that they don't know about it.
The third point is that Ye Feng is a person. What exactly this person means is worth pondering. At first glance, it means that his teacher doesn't care much about him. After all, this young man has no spiritual roots. If it were his own words, before he showed his understanding of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, even one more glance at this person without spiritual roots would be a waste. After all, one cannot cultivate Taoism because of one's spiritual roots. If one cannot cultivate Taoism, one will end up just a mortal ant that lives and dies, which is not worth mentioning.
But this can also be understood in the opposite direction, that is, this is a training. After all, for a cultivator, spiritual roots are not the most critical thing.
Doesn’t it mean that he has no spiritual roots? Just transplant one.
If the person in front of him who combines Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism is his disciple, then he can choose the best Tianlinggen at his will. If the spiritual root is not the main thing, then only his teacher is left to hone his mind. After all, how far a monk can go, talent is indeed important, but more importantly, it depends on a person's character.
But things like character can only rely on tempering. For example, "If a person is young and slacks off when encountering setbacks, how can he become a great person in the future?" Paranoia is one end of the spectrum, and so is the way to use the military. They all kneel down and adapt to changes.", "Being humble is not a shame; only one who can bend and stretch can be a husband." These words are easy to say and easy to hear, but they can really be done. Yes, there are a few people. Don’t we all remember that “everything you gain must have something to lose” only after you hit your head and bleed. This sentence itself is a truth that can only be obtained through tempering.
The narrator said: Don't be paranoid. To put it bluntly, you can't be stubborn. That is to say, you must learn to talk to people and talk to ghosts. Do you want to argue that this is not a proper double standard? But do you think it’s useful to speak human words to ghosts? Does he dare to listen to that ghost?
Speaking of double standards, Ye Feng is not actually the only one with double standards. His grandfather Xiao Ting also has double standards. Xiao Ting is a great man who has a family, a country, and treats everyone equally, but he often says to Ye Feng: "There is a family to the east of Huaxia. We are on a small island, and the people there are honest but show no shame, observe small etiquette but no great righteousness, seek personal gain but no humanity, fear power but no morality, you must stay vigilant in the future and not relax."
So when the demon king Ye Feng came back from the demon world for the first time hundreds of years ago, because of Xiao Ting's words and because he didn't want to guard against thieves for a thousand days, Ye Feng took the most permanent method - to exterminate the entire nation according to blood. After all, in his opinion, even if there are sheep in the flock who are "sheep spies", as long as all the wolves are killed and not even the wolf cubs are left, then even if those sheep spies turn to the wolves again, they will not have a wolf master to loyal them. And they are destined not to become real wolves. So Ye Feng calls himself not a good person, but a great evil person. Not only did he massacre foreign races such as the demon race, he also massacred some human races.
. . .
At this moment, thousands of people in the Tianxia Tower seemed to hear the voices of the seven people, asking Ye Feng: "Are you alone?"
Ye Feng said: "Teacher asked me to go out and practice alone. I am not allowed to rely on the name of my sect and teacher."
At this time, the seven finally understood why Ye Feng had no cultivation. It was naturally because his teacher gave him a defensive treasure that could conceal his cultivation and even his spiritual roots. After all, if they are ordinary people, the most they can do is insult each other, but they can inherit the original meaning of human experience. This may be the reason why this young man combines Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism into one "human being". At the same time, being a mortal would not attract the attention of the monks. After all, what kind of treasure can a mortal have, but that treasure can actually protect the students. And even a Half-Step True Ancestor would have to work hard to see through that treasure, so it is true that no ordinary person can break through its defense. No wonder the teacher could trust him to come out alone.
It seems that this teacher is really extraordinary, and he may not not value himself as much as Ye Feng said. In the eyes of those seven people, Ye Feng's teacher valued Ye Feng very much. Because Ye Feng's Tao is centered on "people", "walking through the mortal world and experiencing all kinds of life" is the right way for him to uphold the Tao. For this reason, he cannot have any privileges, which is why his teacher asked him not to rely on the name of his school and teacher.
It is true that a famous teacher gives birth to a good disciple.
