Ye Feng slowly put away the folding fan on the stage. He knew very well that the seven brothers were observing him from a distance and listening to what he would say.
Ye Feng smiled slightly and said:
"Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism have been criticizing each other for countless years. In fact, that is an extremely stupid thing."
As soon as these words came out, Monk Puhong, Master Zhang Ziling, and Saint Cheng Xi all looked at Ye Feng with stern eyes. But seeing that Ye Feng was still calm and composed, the three of them couldn't help but have the same thought as the man in black robe. This young man was not simple.
They are half-step true ancestors. Even if they just stare at each other, even if they don't use any power, ordinary people will feel suppressed and suffocated, and they may even die. So they were already convinced that the young man in front of them was not without any cultivation. So after careful observation, I finally discovered that he had reached the Nascent Soul realm without spiritual roots. It is indeed an incredible method. It seemed that the young man in front of him was really closely related to that "big man", and he was probably his true disciple. After all, if you have such an understanding of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, if you accept it yourself, you must be trained as a true disciple and a successor. And if you can cultivate disciples who practice Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, then that big man must also be a disciple of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. Otherwise it would be impossible to teach such a disciple
And only such people are qualified to be regarded as "big shots" by them as the enemy.
Just listen to Ye Feng continue to say:
"There is no perfect thing in this world, and the same is true for Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. Therefore, although the criticisms between them are mainly due to their positions and tendencies, to a certain extent, each has its own reasons.
"However, the three schools of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism actually talk about the same principle, and they all talk about the principle of human beings. They all focus on "people". Human beings are the common starting point of the three schools, but their angles and directions are different: Confucianism emphasizes the pursuit of life , Taoism is about maintaining health, while Buddhism is about enjoying life. To be more specific,
"Confucianism talks about the relationship between people, and cultivates awe-inspiring righteousness. Its thoughts are based on virtue. It is essentially a progressive wisdom for worldly affairs. It pays attention to benevolence, etiquette, and moderation. It seeks knowledge through the study of things, cultivates morality, manages the country, and brings peace to the world. Cultivate it. The world is created with righteousness, and if it is cultivated with evil, all life will be ruined.
"Buddhism talks about the relationship between people and themselves, cultivating the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path. Thinking is based on emptiness. Essentially, it is to use transcendental thoughts to do things in the world, and to liberate yourself from troubles through introspection of your own nature. The six degrees of reincarnation , help others and yourself, practice precepts, concentration, and wisdom, so that your mind should have no place to live. In Buddhism, you can transform resentment, cultivate harmony, and have the heart of supreme enlightenment. Compassion enters concentration. The key is to control the mind, understand the mind, and see the nature. The great kindness of those who have no destiny, the great compassion of the same body, the belief in cause and effect, the salvation of others and the salvation of oneself, the end of troubles, the end of life and death, and the end of all suffering in the world.
"Taoism talks about the relationship between man, nature and the universe. Taoism cultivates the atmosphere, nourishes the pure qi, is supreme and infinite, and is quiet and inactive. The thought is based on heaven, which is essentially a regular and transcendental method. It emphasizes that Tao follows nature and that heaven and man are in harmony. 1. Keep quiet and govern by doing nothing. Use the way of nature to nourish the body of nature, and promote the harmony of body, mind and nature through false cultivation. It focuses on governing the body, maintaining health, escaping from the world and all things, and practicing the mind and nature. Heaven and earth and I have the same root, and all things are one with me.
"Although the differences between the three are obvious, they can still be regarded as one. Because there is one word, that is "heart", and this heart refers to the human heart.
"Confucianism is to establish something for human society when social rituals are broken down and order is disordered. This thing is called conscience in Confucianism, Taoism in Taoism, and Buddha nature in Buddhism. But as the saying goes, nothing can be established without destruction. When establishing something, you have to "break it." That is to say, you have to destroy the dirty things in your heart, such as selfishness, fame and wealth, and things like flies and dogs, before you can establish it. Therefore, the Tao Te Ching keeps asking you to break it. Confucianism is manifesting Conscience is meant to "establish" so that people can live with dignity, while Taoism aims to "break" people's illusions so that people's true feelings can be revealed. Without destroying, there is no establishment, "breaking" and "establishing" are what One body, so Buddha and Tao are also one body. If a person's Taoist heart and conscience are truly and thoroughly found after being established, what state will it be in? That is: Buddha. Buddhism is where here.
"So when reading the Heart Sutra, "neither birth nor death, neither dirt nor purity, neither increase nor decrease" is the Buddha, "form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from color, form is emptiness, emptiness is form," this is the state. And that The specific state is: "Colorless in the air, no feelings, thoughts, or consciousness, no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, or thoughts, no color, sound, fragrance, or touch, no vision, or even the unconscious world." There is no ignorance, and there is no end of ignorance, and there is no old age and death, and there is no end of old age and death. Without the accumulation of suffering, there is no way to destroy the path, and there is no wisdom and no gain.
"When it reaches this level, if the mind is still, nothing will happen, and all dharmas are not established, yet it can manifest this vast world.
"So it can be summarized as:
Confucianism teaches that "a benevolent person loves others", which is the result of the heart, and self-sufficiency leads to success in others.
Taoism talks about "natural inaction", which is the behavior of the heart. Changing the behavior makes the Tao alive.
Buddhism teaches that "knowing the mind and seeing its nature" is the foundation of the heart. Awareness of the foundation leads to eternal knowledge.
“And in the words of my teacher, that’s:
There is no good or disgusting body, there are good and evil actions, knowing good and evil is conscience, and doing good and eliminating evil is qingwu."
. . .
Ye Feng found a trick here. In modern history, Wang Yangming is known as a sage like Sage Kong. Sage Kong is honored as the "Teacher of All Ages". All those who understand his Confucianism can be honored as such. He is a "teacher", and Wang Yangming is the same. The last thing Ye Feng quoted was the essence of Wang Yangming's theory of mind, so there was no problem at all for Ye Feng to call Wang Yangming his teacher.
But the word "teacher" was another matter in the ears of the seven most powerful men. This young man is indeed related to that "big shot", but such an amazing and talented person is only qualified to be his student, not his disciple. He is not even qualified to be called "master", so what about that "big shot"? What an incredible person he must be.
And this is the right time as we said before.
At this moment, Pu Hong clasped his hands, Zhang Ziling clasped his fists, and Cheng Xi cupped his hands. The three of them all bowed slightly to Ye Feng. Although the other party could not see it, even if the other party's teacher was not teaching in person, based on what they heard at this moment, the three of them I admit that even if the other party is just a young man, he can still bear this gift.
After all, there is no priority in learning, and those who master come first.
The remaining four among the seven were naturally not as polite as those three, but they could not help but feel respect for the young man in front of them.
But at this moment, the earth trembled, and the sun that had already set in the west rose slowly from the west instead, rising to the same height as the moon at a speed visible to the naked eye, illuminating the entire Central Capital City and even the entire prehistoric fairyland.
Finally, the sun and the moon shine together.
