The narrator said: Ye Yu, what do you think of "The Rebellion of Mortal Immortals" that you wrote?
Ye Yudao: "The Rebellion of Mortal Immortals" is by no means a mere entertainment online article. It tells many valuable principles and methods that can be applied in reality.
For example, Ye Feng's point of view: "Good things depend on your heart, and bad things depend on your actions."
To give a real-life example, there is such a video on Douyin:
"This is an eternal masterpiece, how a traitor answered a patriot.
"Li Ling said: I miss my motherland very much, but the dictator Han Wu, Emperor Wu, killed more than 70 members of my family. The blood feud between me and him cannot be resolved. Now that my enemy treats me with such courtesy, my other country is my motherland."
For such a basic issue, the comment area can actually be divided into two groups. This is such a ridiculous and terrible thing. Even on this issue, there are different opinions, which is a very dangerous signal for society.
There are two dangers: first, some people maliciously take quotes out of context and distort historical facts; second, people do not have a correct and independent understanding.
A little information for those who don’t know Li Ling: Li Ling, also known as Shaoqing. The grandson of Fei Jiangjun Li Guang, a famous general in the Western Han Dynasty.
Li Ling served as the Jian Zhang Supervisor of the Imperial Guards when he was young. He was also good at horseback riding and archery. He had a benevolent heart for others and was humble to his subordinates. He had a good reputation. Later he was promoted to the rank of Cavalry Captain and led elite troops to guard against the Huns in Jiuquan, Zhangye and other places. In the second year of the Tianhan Dynasty, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty ordered him to go out to conquer the Xiongnu. He led 5,000 infantrymen and 80,000 Xiongnu soldiers to fight at Junji Mountain. In the end, he was outnumbered and defeated and was forced to surrender. The news of Li Ling's surrender spread back to the Han Dynasty. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty was furious, and the officials also accused Li Ling. However, Sima Qian believed that Li Ling was able to defeat many enemies with a small number, and killed many times his enemies. He had outstanding military exploits, and even the famous generals in ancient times were nothing more than this. The reason why he did not die was because he wanted to make atonement and serve the court. However, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty believed that Sima Qian was defending Li Ling and used it to falsely accuse Li Guangli, the second commander of Jiang Jun who had no merit in this battle, so he moved Sima Qian to prison and sentenced him to death.
Later, Emperor Wu realized that Li Ling's defeat against the Xiongnu was due to the lack of rescue, so he sent envoys to condolences and reward Li Ling's remaining troops. More than a year later, he sent Yinjuo Jiangjun Gongsun Ao to lead troops deep into the Xiongnu territory to pick up Li Ling. Gongsun Ao returned without success and reported to the prisoners that Li Ling assisted the Xiongnu Chanyu in defending against the Han army. So Emperor Wu killed all Li Ling's family. Later, Li Ling learned of this and informed the envoys of the Han Dynasty that it was the surrendered general Li Xu who helped the Xiongnu Chanyu with his troops. Later, Li Ling sent people to kill Li Xu. The Dalan clan wanted to kill Li Ling, so Shanyu hid him in the north and did not return until the Dalan clan died. The Xiongnu Chanyu married his daughter to Li Ling and named him the King of Youxiao. He valued him very much and discussed all major and minor matters with him.
In the second year of Houyuan, Emperor Zhao of Han came to the throne. Huo Guang of the Great Jiang Army and Shangguan Jie of the Zuo Jiang Army who were assisting the government were both on good terms with Li Ling, so they sent Li Ling's old friend Ren Lizheng and three others as envoys to the Huns to recruit Li Ling back to the Han Dynasty. Li Ling refused to return to the court because he was afraid of being humiliated again after returning to the Han Dynasty. In the first year of Yuanping, Li Ling, who had been with the Xiongnu for more than 20 years, died of illness.
In fact, to be honest, it is really difficult to evaluate Li Ling. He is different from any traitor. However, a common view among later historians is that Li Ling had no choice but to surrender, leaving behind a reputation of treason and betrayal of his master, but in fact, he always wanted to repay the Han Dynasty in his heart.
The above is one of the danger signs I mentioned. Now some people are deliberately "taking quotes out of context and distorting historical facts" for certain purposes.
Second, people without correct and independent cognition are easily influenced by others. After all, a person must have some thoughts while living, and it is impossible to live like a zombie. If you don’t have your own opinions and thoughts, you will inevitably become a vassal and puppet of other people’s thoughts. Remember, remember
Back to the matter of Li Ling, we have to use the principle of "good things depend on the heart and bad things depend on the behavior".
First of all, we must make it clear that treason is always a bad thing, so we can only characterize it based on the behavior itself, not his "heart". Only in this way can we view Li Ling's matter correctly: No matter what Li Ling's treason was in the end, Li Ling still committed treason after all. His behavior must be condemned, but never forgiven. Even the most kind-hearted people can only sympathize with him as a person, but they can never agree with his behavior, because that is treason.
Sima Qian didn't understand this truth and went to intercede with Li Ling, so he was castrated. In this regard, Sima Qian was not unjustly dismissed from the palace.
But Li Ling himself understood this truth. He knew very well that if he returned, he would be humiliated and beheaded, so Li Ling refused to return to the court and eventually died of illness among the Huns.
What Li Ling did here is really regrettable. Take Yue Fei as a comparison. When Yue Fei received twelve "gold-lettered plaques" to urge the class teacher, Yue Fei knew that he was bound to die. He could have chosen to surrender to the Jin army like Li Ling, but he still went back to die.
For Yue Fei, many things in this world are more important than life and death. In the end, during the peace negotiations between Song and Jin Dynasties, Yue Fei was falsely accused by Qin Hui, Zhang Jun and others and imprisoned. In January 1142, he was killed together with his eldest son Yue Yun and general Zhang Xian on trumped-up charges. It was not until Emperor Xiaozong of the Song Dynasty that Zhaoxue was rehabilitated. Historically, the title of "Martial Saint" was originally given to Yue Fei, but was later maliciously changed to "Guan Yu" by the Yuan Dynasty. After all, Yue Fei was fighting the Jin people of the Yuan Dynasty. But even if they are enemies, the Jin army respects Yue Fei. "It is easy to shake a mountain, but it is difficult to shake the Yue family's army." This is the recognition given to Yue Fei by his enemies.
In comparison, Li Ling is really regrettable. Guan Yu said: "I am a warrior in Xie Liang, and I am treated as brother and sister by my master. How can I betray my righteousness and surrender to the enemy's country? If the city is broken, it will only die. Jade can be broken but cannot change its whiteness; bamboo can be burned but cannot be destroyed. "Though the body is dead, the name can be hung on bamboo and silk." This sentence is the best interpretation and evaluation of the deeds of Li Ling and Yue Fei.
If you still look at your heart for any bad thing in this world, then 90% of the bad things in this world can be forgiven and exempted from punishment. Then the law will be ineffective and society will be in chaos. I think everyone can tell which one is more important than the other.
Regarding the novel "The Rebellion of Mortal Immortals", I don't have any big ambitions. I have never thought about being popular or becoming a god.
Writing to convey the truth was originally the original intention of writers and the very beginning of literature. It was to enable more people to learn to think about themselves and absorb spiritual wealth through literature. I only wrote the novel "The Rebellion of Mortal Immortals" with the original intention of a literary writer.
I just regret that not more people have read my book, so I want to write it for free without any restrictions, so that there is no genuine or pirated version. My original intention is to let more people read the truth in the book. . It's just that today's online popular literature is all about performance and catering to readers' pleasure, forgetting the "original".
