The world was unfair and the Jin Dynasty was extremely corrupt. Within decades, it split into more than a dozen small countries. The countries fought for years and the people were in dire straits. Although Xishu County is located on the southwest border of the Daxia Dynasty, the county is fertile and wild for hundreds of miles and is the granary of Daxia, so there are heavy troops guarding it. There are three thousand mountains in the west and north of the county, which are easy to defend and difficult to attack, so there have been no battles in these years. However, there are still refugees and bandits from the Jin Dynasty and southwestern Fan states who sneak into Western Shu County. Refugees come in to seek a living, and thieves and bandits are mixed in. It's impossible to say that everyone is there and they can do anything.
In fact, there is another reason why the head master ordered to stop practicing "Jian Shen Jue", that is, the head master received a secret report from the government.
The Qingshan Sect is located in the Three Thousand Mountains of Western Shu County, with nearly a hundred Taoists in the sect. Although the Qingshan Sect was not big in the Great Xia Dynasty, the Qingshan Sect was founded hundreds of years ago. The opening chapter of "Qingshan Zongzhi" mentioned: "Xuanjizi lived through the Eight Desolations for several years, and ended at the Three Thousand Mountains of Ancient Shu. He was delighted to see the black and yellow energy of the sky and the earth. When he walked to Qingshan, there were seven peaks on the mountain, which coincided with the Big Dipper in the sky. After more than ten years, he accepted seven disciples and began to build the Zhongtian Palace. When the palace was completed, Xuanjizi and his six disciples visited Jiuzhou but did not return. Only the master Tianchenzi was left to guard Tianquan."
Tianchenzi mentioned in "Qingshan Zongzhi" is the actual founder of Qingshan Zong and the seventh disciple of Xuanjizi. There is no way of knowing who Xuanjizi is or where he comes from. Zongzhi didn't mention it at all. The other six disciples also don’t know their names. "He took six disciples to visit Kyushu but did not return" is even more of a mystery. Where is Kyushu, where have the people gone, and where are the eight wildernesses? Zongzhi has not said a word. There is nothing wrong with Tianchenzi claiming to be his master.
The second chapter of "Qingshan Zongzhi" describes Tianchenzi: "...Master Tianchen worked hard for another twenty years, building a sutra collection pavilion and expanding a hundred acres of farmland. He recruited seven disciples and created the "Seven Star Sword Formation" "...Master Tianchen gathered the Xuanhuang Qi, channeled the power of seven stars, and reached the Taixuan Realm. He took the Qi and lifted it into the sky, traveling hundreds of feet to the ground and as far away as eight miles. He was astonished by the gods. He created the "Wind Movement Technique"..."
The third chapter of "Qingshan Zongzhi" is about the description of the founder who compiled "Qingshan Zongzhi": "...I am Yangming Taoist, the great disciple of Patriarch Tianchen. Thirty-five years after the sect was founded, I have obtained the "Seven Star Sword Formation" ", "Feng Xing Shu" true biography. The ancestor of Master Tianchen is located in Yu, and he wants to follow the aspirations of Patriarch Xuanji and visit Jiuzhou. On that day, Patriarch Tianchen left the mountain but did not return. In memory of his ancestors Xuanjizi and Tianchenzi, Yu created "Qingshan Zongzhi" , to leave a legacy to future generations.”
"...Another sixty-three years have passed, and the master has not returned. I feel that my days are running out, and I feel that there is not much time left. I and my six junior brothers work hard to support the sect and practice sword formation diligently every day. Fortunately, I have lived up to my destiny. However, the way of heaven is unclear. , the secrets of heaven are unpredictable, but the art of Fengxing is difficult to see Master Tianchen’s back. I am so ashamed and ashamed of my second ancestor. I hope that future generations will practice diligently in order to revive our sect. Remember, remember..."
"...I passed on the "Seven Star Sword Formation", "Feng Xing Shu", "Qingshan Zong Zhi" and the great disciple Wan Chong, saying that the head of the sect is located in Wanchong. From Wan Chong onwards, the "Three Classics" were only passed down to the head of the sect... "
"...According to Master Tianchen's instructions, all seven peaks have mountain gates. Later generations of disciples need to take strict care of them and keep them for future use. Past leaders must keep this in mind..."
The following chapters of "Qingshan Zongzhi" are all handwritten by each generation of heads, used to record important events of the sect. Each generation of headmaster records an article before passing the throne. It has been passed down to Taoist Priest Qinghao for the eleventh generation. Taoist Master Wan Chong was the fourth generation head of Qingshan Sect. During his reign, he built the Patriarch Hall. After the head of Yangming became immortal, he was buried in the mountain behind Tianquan Peak, and his memorial tablet was set up in the Patriarch Hall.
Because we don’t know the lives and deaths of Xuanjizi, Tianchenzi and the six Taoists they took away, although nearly seventy years have passed, depending on the time, they may have become immortals. In order to respect the ancestors, eight of their memorial tablets were also set up. There are currently 16 ancestor tablets in the Patriarch Hall.
The Qingshan Sect has been passed down for eleven generations, and there are more and more Taoists in the sect. Excluding those who wander around and spread their branches outside, there are still hundreds of them. Because the Qingshan Sect was famous for its swordsmanship and powerful sword formations, the Great Xia Dynasty had long noticed the Qingshan Sect.
During the seventh generation of the Qingshan Sect, the Great Xia Dynasty sent military officials and the princess of Xishu County to pay a high-profile visit to the Qingshan Sect. It was hoped that the Qingshan Sect could regularly send some Taoists to the military to guide the practice of formations and teach some useful skills. Open sword stance. In times of emergency, I hope Qingshan Sect can send Taoists to help.
After discussing with several elders, the seventh generation head Taoist Hu Yue decided to agree to the request of the Daxia Dynasty. Although the Qingshan Sect is aloof from the world, after all, everyone is also a mortal body. Their lips are dead and their teeth are cold, and they cannot do without the protection of the Daxia Dynasty and Xishu County. Therefore, since the seventh generation, the Qingshan Sect has regularly sent some core disciples to the military camp in Xishu County for exchanges and training in soldier sword formation, and has sent ordinary disciples to the military camp for training. Of course, it must only be teaching low-level sword moves and sword formations. High-level ones are only passed on to core disciples. This was also agreed with the officials of the Great Xia Dynasty. After all, the sect must have the ability to protect itself.
Therefore, starting from the seventh generation, the Qingshan Sect trained several generations of Daxia soldiers who used sword formation as a means of attack for Xishu County. There are hundreds of sword formation soldiers currently serving. A formation of seven people, if all were sent to the battlefield, there would be nearly a hundred formations. The lethality is very powerful.
The king of the Jin Dynasty was fatuous and incompetent. A few years ago, the princes from all over the country supported their own troops and split into more than a dozen small countries. Among them, the Southern Wei Dynasty, which borders the Daxia Dynasty, has the largest land area. The Southern Wei Dynasty bordered the Nanchen Kingdom and the Xishu County of the Daxia Dynasty.
The Southern Wei Dynasty and the neighboring Nanchen Kingdom fought for years in order to compete for the Qishan Lake area, which was rich in fish and rice and had a radius of hundreds of miles. They were already running out of food and grass. Nanchen State has developed waters and is good at water warfare. The Southern Wei Dynasty often suffered heavy losses when attacking Qishan Lake City, and it became a tug-of-war over time. The Southern Wei Dynasty had always coveted the Xishu County in Daxia. After being unable to attack the Qishan Lake City of Nanchen Kingdom for a long time, it came up with the idea of raiding the Xishu County.
So they secretly formed a special force composed of hundreds of Jianghu masters from the Southern Wei Dynasty, hoping to take advantage of the Daxia Dynasty's paralysis to attack the Western Shu County at night. In order to succeed in the raid, the Southern Wei Congress also sent an army of 20,000 to forcefully cross the Xia River and attack the city of Xishu County. This was used to contain the main force of Xishu, so that the masters of Jianghu could break into the city at night and attack from a pincer attack.
The Xiajiang River is a large river that runs east-west, starting from the uninhabited Gobi Desert in the northwest to the legendary East China Sea, stretching for more than thousands of miles. It separated the Jin Dynasty and the Xia Dynasty from the north to the south. Xishu County is on the south bank of the Xia River, and Southern Wei and Nanchen are on the north bank of the Xia River.
The Qingshan Sect received a secret report from the Xishu County Government, hoping that the Qingshan Sect would attach great importance to justice, send Taoists with high martial arts skills, and unite with other gangs in Xishu to form a team to counter the Jianghu masters of the Southern Wei Dynasty, and rob and kill them along the way. . Chuyue County is located in the east of Xishu County, with a garrison of 10,000. Yunchuan County is located in the south of Xishu County. It is a county on the southwest border of the Daxia Dynasty, with a garrison of 10,000. Due to the great disparity between the enemy and ourselves, in order to be sure, five thousand troops were deployed in Chuyue County and Yunchuan County respectively. By then, they would outflank the Southern Wei army together with the 10,000 Xishu County garrison troops.
Taoist priest Qinghao, two elders, and core disciples practiced the "Jian Shen Jue" to no avail. After receiving the secret report, they ordered to stop practicing the "Jian Shen Jue" and stepped up their efforts to practice the sect's skills to prepare for the fierce battle that followed. Prepare.
Due to time constraints, while Xishu County sent personnel to the Qingshan Sect, it also sent corresponding officials to more than ten sects such as Chaoyangmen, Jinghu Sect, Qingweishan, and Nanchan Temple, and also invited the heads of each sect. , the leader, one day later, discussed with the officials of Xishu County how to rob and kill the masters of the Southern Wei Dynasty.
The next day, after the affairs within the sect were properly arranged, the leader, Taoist priests Qingyi and Qingxuan went down the mountain early in the morning, took the fast horses prepared by the military at the lower post of Daqing Mountain, and galloped away to the city of Xishu County.
Daqingshan is about five hundred miles away from the city of Xishu County. The three of them rode hard, changing horses every time they arrived at the post house. In less than half a day, they arrived at the west gate of the city of Xishu County.
Xishu County is about eight miles long from east to west and seven miles wide from north to south. The city wall is more than three feet high. There is a moat outside the city wall, which is about ten feet wide. This width and height are more than enough to stop ordinary soldiers, but they are not enough for martial arts masters. Therefore, this is also the reason why the Daxia Dynasty is nervous. Xishu County is the granary of Daxia. If we lose it, the consequences can be imagined. If it is defeated and occupied by the Southern Wei Dynasty, the Southern Wei Dynasty will receive sufficient supplies of food and grass, which will break the deadlock and quickly conquer Qishan Lake City, posing a huge threat to the west and north of Daxia at the same time.
Generally speaking, temple disputes do not involve rivers and lakes. In the fight between sects, don’t go to the temple. But this time the Southern Wei shamelessly gathered people from all walks of life, so Daxia had to respond in the same way. When the three leaders reached the west gate a thousand steps away, soldiers on the city had already seen it and lowered the drawbridge, and officials, generals and a team of people came to meet them.
After reaching the city gate suspension bridge for more than 300 steps, "Oh~", the leader, Qing Yi, and Qing Xuan reined in their horses, turned over, led the horses and continued on foot to show respect. At this time, the official standing in front of the bridge said loudly: "Lu He, the governor of Xishu County, comes out of the city to greet the head of the Qingshan Sect, the second elder, and the third elder!"
"Qinghao was very frightened when Lord Lao Lu came to greet him from a distance!" The headmaster and his two junior brothers saw that Lord Lu, the governor of Xishu County, was coming to greet him personally, and hurriedly stepped forward to salute him.
"Where is it! The leader of the Qingshan Sect is Gao Yi. In the face of a powerful enemy, repair my spear and share the same hatred with me. Lu He is grateful! Please move to the county seat. Please!"
"Master Lu, please!"
"I have met the master," "I have met the two uncles," "I have met the master." More than ten Qingshan Sect disciples who were training sword formations in Xishu County were also among the welcoming team. After not seeing the leader and the two elders for several months, everyone was very eager.
"Thank you for your help, disciples." The leader comforted the disciples.
