Hello everyone who can see here, this is version update 56.
We would also like to announce the official conclusion of the second volume, [Eternal Crazy Empire].
This is finally my favorite moment of speech. After all, I don’t have any other hobbies other than posting my thoughts and watching comments.
It has taken nearly a year to write this book "Airborne to Chaldea", which has nearly 800,000 words. It is incredible to think about it, and I also get a lot of sense of accomplishment from it. From the unfamiliarity of writing in the beginning to the familiarity I have now, it is difficult for me to avoid certain criticisms by claiming to be a novice——————
This volume has a total of 190 chapters including the extras. It is very long in both a positive and negative sense. Even if it is placed in some long novels, it is considered a quite long chapter, right?
So why is it so long? Although I know that a truly excellent home should delete some non-important content, but for me who has a strong desire for expression, every time I think of a development, I want to put it in my own, and I can't bear to delete it at all. Of course the articles written by people with this problem will be longer. This is one of them.
Secondly, when I first created the story of the first volume, you may not realize it when reading, but for me as the creator, the story of the first volume actually happened in one week.
Isn't the plot arrangement a bit too rushed? So there will be such thinking. So when I was conceiving the second volume, I wanted to develop a story with a larger time span. At least more than a month, this was the requirement I gave myself at that time
Thirdly, as a Jingluo, many things about Rome seem like common sense to me, but to many readers this is not the case. I also want to try my best to restore what Rome looks like in my own eyes, so there will also be more introduction to Rome itself.
Combining various reasons including but not limited to the above, this volume is finally presented to everyone.
Although the reviews have been mixed, and I know that there are various problems in it, personally, I am still very satisfied with this volume.
At first, when I finished writing the first volume, I was actually hesitating about what to do if I couldn’t finish the second volume, and what to do if I failed to finish the second volume. In the end, thanks to the editor Madoka, who has now resigned, I was able to put it on the shelf. , which allowed me to persevere and continue writing this book.
The completion of this volume and this year's writing experience are also equivalent to a breakthrough for me, allowing me to achieve the transformation from hobby to amateur.
I would also like to thank all the book friends who have been watching this far. Without your encouragement, I would never have been able to achieve the transformation I have achieved today.
At the same time, I would like to thank Appian and Theodor Monson for compiling the "History of Rome" respectively, which became a valuable resource for me to refer to.
The next few chapters will be a short "Roman Holiday", and then we will enter the exciting third singularity point.
I also sincerely ask everyone here to continue to support this book "Airborne to Chaldea". It would be great if you could leave a few paragraphs or comments in the comment area.
Finally, continue to borrow the line from "Ready Player One":
"Thank you for reading what I wrote."
