This is probably the case for people. As long as the time is long enough, they will probably slowly let go of the obsessions that they can't let go of. In the end, they will either be left feeling confused, or they will do the opposite and change to self-cultivation.
A year passed like this, and all the resentment in him was gone, leaving only an aura of indifference and peace. However, his consciousness did not weaken at all. He did not lose hope of living. Instead, he thought about benefiting the people of Wuji Country. , at least we can’t let that demonic path stir up trouble.

"Amitabha." Manjushri said.
"It's the cause that you go to him to test him, it's the effect that he develops resentment towards Buddhism, it's the cause that the Green Lion goes to punish him, it's the effect that he does good again, it's the cause that the four Xuanzangs pass by for Buddhist scriptures, it's the effect that you help him... The cause and effect between you and the King of Black Chickens was not settled until you came to Lingshan. Do you understand now?" Tathagata Buddha asked.
"Disciple understands." Manjushri Bodhisattva said.
"You green lion, you will still have some karma in the future, why not stay on this spiritual mountain." Tathagata Buddha said.
The green lion's hair stood on end, and he was obviously a little nervous.
Where can I find a comfortable home in Lingshan?
It meowed at Manjushri Bodhisattva with some grievance, but saw Manjushri Bodhisattva laughing and scolding: "In the past, I have never seen you, an evil beast, relying on me so much. Since the Buddha said so, then you should stay in Lingshan Mountain."
As if he also knew that begging his master was of no use, the green lion turned his head and looked at Zhang Chi again.
Zhang Chixin said that you talk about yourselves and see what I am doing, as if I am very important. He pretended not to see the praying eyes of the other party, but heard the Buddha continue to say: "How are you in heaven?"
Zhang Chi didn't know whether the other party really didn't know or was asking questions knowingly. After thinking about it, he told everything that everyone had encountered along the way.
"...In the end, I was the only one who ran out. They didn't know where they were now. I originally wanted to go back to Lingshan to ask for help, but King Li Tian asked me to find Medicine Buddha. Medicine Buddha said that each of my friends has a chance. , no need to be rescued by Lingshan." Zhang Chi said.
"Yes." Tathagata Buddha nodded, "It's a time when heaven is in turmoil, and it's really inconvenient for Buddhism to intervene."
Hearing this, Zhang Chi thought it was the team causing a disturbance at Nantianmen, and felt a little unhappy. He said, "You asked us to go to heaven. Why, now we are in chaos but we don't care about it? Isn't this killing the donkey?" ?”
"This turmoil is not that turmoil." Tathagata said, "You can wait and see what happens. I only tell you that with the scheming and strength of your friends, your life can be protected."
"Seriously?" Zhang Chi asked.
"Hahaha." Tathagata laughed, "Monks don't lie. If it really comes to that point, I will go to the Jade Emperor myself."
Zhang Chi nodded. With Buddha's words, he could feel relieved.
"How are you getting along with Manjusri these days?" Tathagata asked again.
Zhang Chixin said where did this come from? We were clearly talking about major events in the Three Realms just now, so how come we are now talking about filial piety?
He glanced at Manjushri Bodhisattva and said, "It's good. Manjushri Bodhisattva and Medicine Buddha both treat me very well. Oh, by the way, there are also Sunlight Bodhisattva and Moonlight Bodhisattva."

"That's fine. If you stay with the blue lion here, it will save him from being lonely." Manjushri Bodhisattva said.

Zhang Chi thought for a while and asked, "Don't you need to listen to Buddhist teachings every day?"
Tathagata smiled again, "I don't force you to practice Buddhism, but it's not easy to not hear the Dharma in this Lingshan Mountain."
Zhang Chi finally agreed.
Anyway, after Guanyin Bodhisattva arrives, he will leave. He will not let himself wait for another twenty-seven years.
After leaving the square, Manjusri Bodhisattva showed some reluctance towards Zhang Chi and Qing Shi.
Zhang Chi thought that the other party was also lonely in Wutai Mountain. Maybe he lacked someone to chat with every day to relieve his boredom. Now that Qing Shi and himself were both gone, he was the only one left. He couldn't help feeling pity for him and comforted him: "Qing Shi can't use it." I'll go back soon, and I'll come and play with you when I have nothing to do, so you don't have to be too sad."
"I haven't finished teaching you the Dharma. I've failed as a teacher. When Brother Riguang asks later, how should I explain it?" Manjushri Bodhisattva said with a bitter face.
"Um..." Only then did Zhang Chi realize that the other party was thinking about this. He scratched his head and said, "Anyway, I won't necessarily learn what you said. You are a good teacher. It's my fault that I don't have the Buddhist affinity."
"Then you should practice well in Lingshan, I will leave now."
I guess Manjushri Bodhisattva thought about it, so he sighed and said no more.
Before leaving, he patted Qingshi on the head, turned around and left without any further instructions.
Qingshi meowed with some resentment, probably because he said that he was not as good as this doll, so he sold it to himself without even a word of comfort.
"He thinks you understand him, so he doesn't need to tell you more. You two are not the same person." Zhang Chi was still interested in helping Manjushri Bodhisattva.
Qingshi rolled his eyes at Zhangchi.
"We're the only two left. You must be more familiar with this Lingshan Mountain than I am. Why don't you take me for a walk?" Zhang Chi suggested.

He was not annoyed, and said: "I know you are resentful about this matter, but think about it, when you come to Lingshan, who else can control you except Buddha? How could Buddha have so much time to educate you every day? You are yourself Isn’t there room for flexible activities? Just treat it as a holiday for yourself.”
