Chunyang Temple is a Taoist temple on Zhongnan Mountain.

However, unlike other Taoist temples, Chunyang Temple is located on a peak deep in Zhongnan Mountain.

The mountain wall, which is close to a right angle of 90 degrees, is simply not something ordinary people can climb up. Its height is even deeper into the clouds and straight into the sky.

If they had not known in advance that there was a Taoist temple above the clouds, it would be difficult for anyone to imagine that there was a Taoist temple shrouded in smoke above the misty clouds.

It seems like a fairyland, but also like a divine court...

The specialness of the Pure Yang View is evident, and the terror of creatures that can live at such a height is even more evident.

In fact, this Chunyang Temple is the residence of one of the many Taoist sects in Zhongnan - the Danding Sect.

It is said that the history of the Danding Sect can be traced back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties. The earliest theoretical basis is a Taoist canon called "Zhou Yi Shen Tong Qi".

During the period of the Hundred Schools of Confucianism, the Alchemy Sect incorporated part of Huang-Lao's thoughts and developed a path of cultivation based on breathing Qi and refining alchemy.

It was not until Baopuzi was born in the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties that the Danding sect reached its first peak, leaping from the original Taoist stream to a mainstream sect.

Up to now, the Alchemy Sect can barely be divided into two branches: outer alchemy and inner alchemy.

Waidan refers to using a furnace to smelt lead, mercury and other ore medicines to prepare an edible elixir of immortality.

Inner elixirs generally refer to treating the human body as a "furnace", using one's own essence and qi as medicine, and using the spirit to smelt it into something that is formed by the interaction of the spirit and qi.

However, few people know that the Danding Sect is actually inseparable from Li Xuan, the first Yang God of Taoism.

Li Xuan, who was born in the pre-Qin period, was once a member of the Danding Sect.

It was also this talented genius who brought the declining Danding Sect to its current height.

In a sense, the Danding Sect's prestige today is inseparable from Li Xuan, the former "master".

However, being talented often also means being deviant.

After Li Xuan practiced Xu He Dao, he declared that the "Road to Alchemy Cauldron" had come to an end. It was a wrong path destined to lead to a dead end.

So he doesn't plan to continue on this road, but wants to look at other roads.

To be honest, any master who can establish a sect is the kind of powerful person who has a long-term vision and is proficient in hundreds of schools of thought.

To these people, although Li Xuan's remarks sounded ridiculous, they were not surprising, and no one would expel the other party from the Alchemy Sect because of this.

Li Xuan is rebellious. In addition to his theory, his execution ability is also full of points.

After putting down some grand words, Li Xuan began to practice his theory without stopping.

Either cheat, steal, or rob...

Li Xuan offended almost all the sects at that time, just to get the Daozang in their hands.

Under such circumstances, no matter how much the elders of the Danding Sect favored Li Xuan, they could only be forced to announce that he would be expelled from the sect.

It's a pity that the various schools of thought are not fuel-efficient lamps, so it is naturally impossible for them to accept this unilateral "announcement" from the Danding Sect.

As a result, the once glorious Danding Sect entered a century-long decline. Even if there were several revivals during this period, its disciples never exceeded ten fingers.

Except for the Gui Burial Sect, which has been extinct, and the Fu Lu Sect, which has always been a single lineage, the direct disciples of the Danding Sect can be said to be a rare species at the panda level.

But just like the first two sects, no one can deny the power of the Danding Sect, just like no one doubts whether Li Xuan still maintains contact with the Danding Sect.

To put it bluntly, more than 90% of today's Taoist practice methods are extended from the theories of the Danding School.

How did these theories spread?

Maybe you have to ask Li Xuan, who stole the classics of hundreds of schools of thought and has been trying to explore the limits of Yang Shen.

Especially after the saying "I want to pass on the Eight Immortals in the Shangdong Cave and teach the Quanzhen Way" spread, every ambitious insider wants to compete for the Eight Immortals' Tao Fruit.

Therefore, when the long-awaited Dan Ding Sect accepted a new disciple, no one would ignore his existence.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Lu Yan is the youngest son of Lujia Village at the foot of Zhongnan Mountain. His ancestral home is Hezhongfu, Puzhou, Hedong.

Legend has it that on the day Lu Yan was born, a black snake appeared in the sky, a black turtle emerged from the river, and the pure Yang energy swept away hundreds of miles of evil spirits.

Such an obvious auspicious feature makes it impossible for a practitioner to ignore its existence.

However, when the Zhongnan sects wanted to find out what happened, the Danding sect, which seemed to have expected it, took Lu Yan away first.

The person responsible for going down the mountain to pick up Lu Yan was Zhengyangzi, the eldest elder of the Danding Sect and the living immortal with the longest life span known in the world.

Zhengyangzi, whose real name in lay circles is Zhongliquan, his nickname is Heguzi, and his courtesy name is Yunfang (Jidao).

In later generations, this Zhengyangzi also had a more resounding name - Han Zhongli.

As a disciple of the Danding Sect that was active during the Wei and Jin Dynasties, Zhong Liquan has lived for seven hundred years and has already surpassed the five hundred years limit of heaven and man.

Theoretically speaking, even if Zhong Liquan cultivated into the Immortal Yang God, his body should have been extinct by now.

But in fact, Zhong Liquan has not yet dismembered his body, and there is no sign of any signs of degeneration.

Just like now...

In the towering Chunyang Temple, Zhong Liquan held his big belly, fanned a banana fan, and urged the audience to study in the morning with a smile on his face.

Among these disciples are some who are already adults, and some who are still childish...

Among these disciples, a child who looked to be no more than three or four years old stood out.

call!

I saw the boy coiled on the tuanpu, his eyes closed tightly.

The whole body is burning with golden flames, and the substantial vitality spurts out from the nine orifices...

A looming golden elixir was suspended in the sky above his head, swallowing up the first ray of morning sun like a vast ocean.

"The elixir becomes nine-turn, and the demons are transformed."

"Master, his Nine Transformations Golden Pill has been completed!"

Looking at Lu Yan's performance in stunned silence, Yue Yangzi, the senior sister who has been in the profession for the longest time, couldn't help showing an envious expression.

The Nine-turn Golden Pill is a secret method passed down directly from the Danding Sect, and cannot be practiced without a pure Yang body.

Yue Yangzi practiced the Pure Yang method as a woman, but it took him a full sixty years to reach the eighth level.

It had only been three or four years since Lu Yan had been a disciple of the mountain, but he had managed to cultivate the Nine Transformations Golden Elixir by relying on his pure Yang Qi, which was so abundant that it was almost cheating.

The gap during this period is beyond words.

"Chun Yangzi is indeed the reincarnation of my great-uncle. This talent is so shocking."
