"Have you enlightened the fifth Five Zang Yuan Lord?"
Taoist priest Xu Ping was a little surprised.
Chu Chen nodded and explained:
"After I went to Oak County in Youzhou this time, I basically had no time to practice Qi. Every day I was either driving away the plague for the people, or meditating to restore my magic power. I was so busy, my spirit was tense, and I couldn't rest for a moment."
"In the past two days, all the victims outside Oak County were rescued, and the pressure was greatly reduced."
"So, I decided to gather the qi of Taiyin to practice. Who would have thought? After two weeks of collecting medicine and practicing Qigong, I didn't feel anything. Lord Pi Yuan was enlightened into Yuanling. It was so smooth. I I can’t believe it.”
"Master, there's nothing wrong with my practice, it's so smooth..."
Xu Pingdao was stunned on the spot. He opened his mouth to speak, but stopped when he reached his mouth. His expression was wonderful.
To be fair, if the person who said these words was not the disciple, but someone else.
He suspected that the other party was deliberately showing off.
However, looking at the disciple's serious look on his face asking for advice, he looked a little worried... but it didn't look like him.
Taoist Xu Ping was a bit dumbfounded:
"Don't worry, it's a good thing. I was worried that your foundation was not stable before, so I strongly recommended you to go to the Taoist temple to meditate for a period of time to calm down your mind."
"This time, you are wholeheartedly rescuing the victims, with no distractions, pure and upright, consistent with the true meaning of practice, and breakthrough is a matter of course."
"This time's improvement in Taoist practice is more solid and stable than practicing hard step by step. This is the path to truly superior cultivation, and it is a gratifying good thing."
Chu Chen also realized that his words were a bit Versailles, and smiled sheepishly.
In fact, he was really not Versailles, but it was too easy to break through, which made him feel a little unreal, so he asked his teacher.
"Master, I have completed my ninth-grade Taoist practice, what should I do with the Holy Essence Pill?"
Chu Chen smiled and brought the topic back to the topic.
The externally refined elixir in his body was a reward from the Immortal Court for killing a juvenile "violent ghost".
The effect of the spiritual elixir is quite powerful. Not only does it add 40% of the mana and essence out of thin air, it can also purify the mana and essence to assist in cultivation.
The only shortcoming is that the level is too low, and it is only a ninth-level refining true elixir.
Once you break through to the eighth level of Taoism, the ninth level Holy Essence Pill only has the effect of adding extra mana.
As the Taoist practice improves, it will become more and more useless.
Taoist priest Xu Ping stroked his beard and said:
"Don't worry, externally refining the true elixir won't be useless. After you break through to the eighth level, it will have another wonderful use."
"Oh, what's the magic?"
Chu Chen suddenly became interested.
Taoist priest Xu Ping did not sell out:
"You have been swallowing the Holy Essence Pill for some time. The essence and vitality in the outer pill come from the same source as you. After breaking through the eighth level of Taoism, you can break the outer pill to feed yourself and consolidate or even improve your Taoism. !”
"If you are lucky, you might be able to enlighten a five-sense Yuanjun into a Yuanling."
Chu Chen felt happy.
Is there such a wonderful use?
After all, externally refining the true elixir is a foreign object, and it is not as practical as improving one's cultivation level.
If the Shattered Pill can be used to consolidate and improve one's cultivation level, the ninth-grade external refining true pill "Saint Yuan Miao Pill" can be used to its full potential.
Next, Xu Ping did not chat with Chu Chen, but began to teach the key points of the ninth-level Taoism to break through the eighth-level Taoism, as well as the key points of Kung Fu cultivation in the eighth-level realm.
The Lingshan School's practice method [Hunyuan Refining], the ninth stage of Taoism, focuses on enlightening the Yuanjun of the five internal organs.
At the eighth level of Taoism, the main focus is to enlighten the five sense organs.
The five sense organs here are not "eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth, and ears" but refer to what doctors call "ears, eyes, nose, mouth, and tongue."
The nose is the organ of the lungs; the eyes are the organ of the liver; the lips are the organ of the spleen; the tongue is the organ of the heart; the ears are the organ of the kidneys.
Yuanjun of the Five Zang Organs governs the five elements of the human body.
The Yuanjun of the five sense organs governs the Yuanjun of the five internal organs.
The two are mutually subordinate and closely linked.
The five sense organs are the medium for people to explore and contact the outside world. First enlighten the five internal organs, and then enlighten the five sense organs. This is the practice method that opens the bridge between heaven and man.
The five sense organs are the medium through which the small world of the human body communicates with the large world of heaven and earth.
After enlightening the five sense organs, the energy of the five internal organs and the five elements in the monk's body can resonate with the energy of the five elements of heaven and earth, and then he can practice using the energy of the five elements of heaven and earth.
In addition, after enlightening the Yuanjun of the Five Senses into Yuanling, you can also naturally master various magical powers, such as hearing, seeing, smelling, tasting, etc.
Of course, the focus of Taoist Xu Ping's lecture this time was not on the eighth-level Taoist practice, but on instructing Chu Chen on how to break through the eighth level from the ninth level.
The key to breakthrough is the perfect fusion of the five internal organs and the five elements, creating a harmonious and balanced state of mutual support and restraint, to achieve a perfect state of "stillness generates true yang".
What is "quiet"?
In fact, there are no specific standards!
It belongs to a state that can only be understood but cannot be expressed.
At this time, a kind of understanding is very much needed.
In addition to paying attention to the word "diligence", spiritual practice also pays attention to the word "enlightenment".
Daily hard work is the basic skill, and "full enlightenment" at critical moments is the most important thing.
If the opportunity has not come, no matter how hard you practice, it will be useless. Occasionally, if you have an idea, you may be able to make a breakthrough.
Of course, there are rules for everything.
Countless people practice cultivation, and although each encounters different circumstances, there are generally traces to follow.
At this time, the superiority of inheritance of Dharma lineage is demonstrated.
Xu Ping Daoxing gave this lecture for a long time, listing in detail the reflections of his seniors when they made breakthroughs and the situations he encountered when he made breakthroughs, hand in hand, explaining everything in detail.
Although Chu Chen has not yet been able to truly understand that "quiet extreme produces true Yang", he has a fairly clear understanding of the process of breaking through to the eighth level of Taoism.
Apart from anything else, next time, if he has any signs of a breakthrough, he will be able to realize it immediately, seize the opportunity, and make a breakthrough in one fell swoop.
Compared with practicing blindly on your own, having a master to guide you will make your cultivation journey much smoother.
Master Xu Ping lectured until late at night. He felt that the lecture was almost thorough, so he left with peace of mind, leaving Chu Chen alone in the clean room to comprehend and digest what he had learned.
After the master left, Chu Chen immediately tried to meditate, harmonizing the essence of the five internal organs in the body, trying to make it reach a state of perfect harmony and tranquility that generates true Yang.
The most important thing about Jing Gong is the state of mind.
Chu Chen's utilitarian practice naturally did not have very good results.
With the help of Yuan Jun, the five internal organs were able to be transported calmly, but he could not find the way to the "quiet" state.
Chu Chen didn't pay much attention to this.
There is no need to rush things in practice.
After entering the Taoist temple to practice, Chu Chen's impatience disappeared and he was not too impatient.
After finishing the meditation, Chu Chen took out the [Tongtian Ruyi Xinxiang Prescription] with great interest.
He has made a lot of achievements in supporting Youzhou in the past few days.
Currently, the meritorious deeds have reached sixty-one.
In other words, as long as he makes the Heaven-Bearing Ruyi Xinxiang, he can start practicing the "Vajra Spiritual Power Sword Technique".
