Empress Qin Xuanyi saw that Taoist priest Xiyun was very disciplined in his military training. Every soldier had a skill. Even the smallest Taoist priest had a skill, whether it was boxing, martial arts, fencing, falling, soaring into the clouds, invisibility, etc. What you don’t have, what you don’t have. Queen Qin nodded slightly. Taoist priest Xiyun approached and said to Queen Qin:
"Your Majesty, I am lucky enough to see you in person today. Your Majesty is also in a good mood today. Why don't I ask my disciples to perform for you and see how my disciples' martial arts skills go?"
Empress Qin praised Taoist Xiyun in her heart for being able to gather the strength of the mountains, train soldiers, and strengthen the country when the country was poor and weak. She was pleased and happily agreed.
Qiyun Mountain, the Taoist holy land, is famous all over the world for its kung fu, and it is a place that almost every martial arts disciple is fascinated by. Now, after being trained well by Taoist Master Xiyun, the monks gathered together, the fellow Taoists also became like immortals, and everyone became powerful. The hazel forest has beautiful bamboos, hundreds of birds flying in the forest, waves of pines and waves, and white clouds swimming leisurely. This ancient famous mountain with its beautiful peaks is also a famous place for Taoism in China.
Empress Qin watched an amazing martial arts performance with a smile. The performers are all disciples trained by Taoist Master Xiyun. Most of the young Taoist priests performing are less than twenty years old, and some are even only eight or nine years old. At the beginning of the performance, several Taoist priests dressed in black Taoist uniforms with tight waists meditated in the middle of the terrace. Each of their luck dantians were like black statues, motionless. Thousands of mountains are silent, thousands of birds are silent, the pines and bamboos are speechless, and the pavilions are silent. The entire martial arts training ground was filled with a quiet atmosphere. The Taoist priests around him held their breath and did not dare to say a word. Empress Qin stared ahead, watching their performance intently.
Suddenly, these sculptures suddenly turned into ethereal shadows one after another. They kicked their legs, moved their hands, rolled, and jumped. They exuded unprecedented vitality. Each of the eighteen martial arts skills is so vigorous and impressive, and each one is so admirable. Like a long snake, it is a flying whip; like a double dragon, it is a pair of waving swords; like thunder, it is a clashing hammer; like a cheetah, it is a fast club. The eyes of the onlookers were like magnets, tightly attracted to them. They are often as ferocious as a mantis waiting for an opportunity, often as majestic as a roaring tiger, and often as witty as a toad waiting for an opportunity. These endlessly changing light and shadows are both thrilling and refreshing, both upright and breathtaking. They were like nimble rabbits, tumbling back to the back room.
Empress Qin couldn't help but applaud in appreciation.
Suddenly, a Taoist priest in black robes stepped into the center of the terrace. He bowed to Empress Qin first. People opened their eyes wide and saw his luck dantian suddenly flying into the air and disappearing. When he looked closer, he was already standing on the top of a tall pine tree fifty meters away! People feel that he is just standing on the pine needles, and his person is light and airy. This kind of Qinggong, this invisible movement of the body, is incredible to people. Suddenly, the Taoist priest suddenly stood in the center of the flat. Then, he took a sharp knife and stabbed himself in the throat. An ordinary person would have died immediately, but Taoist Ci Ming was not injured at all. Thunderous applause erupted all around. Empress Qin watched with panic.
Upon seeing this, Taoist Master Xiyun immediately asked the Taoist priest to stop performing.
Next came three disciples, one large, two small, and three. The two younger disciples, one on the left and the other on the right, were holding a piece of glass. Behind the glass was a yellow balloon, while the older disciple was holding a silver needle that looked like a toothpick. Taoist priest Xiyun said to Queen Qin:
"This is Qi Yunshan's unique hidden weapon, which can puncture balloons from a distance." Empress Qin was surprised: How could such a small "embroidery needle" puncture a balloon in the air? For the first time, the eldest disciple swung the needle hard against the glass. He heard a clanging sound and the needle fell to the ground. This was probably to tell Empress Qin that this was a real steel needle and the glass was also real glass. I saw the eldest disciple holding his breath and concentrating on his Dantian, using his hands to gather all the strength of his body. In an instant, he exerted force with his hands, and heard a crisp sound: a steel needle pierced a hole in the glass, and the balloon on the opposite side It also exploded. "Wow -" "Awesome!" Empress Qin held her breath and praised it alone.
Chinese Taoism and martial arts have always been broad and profound. However, if Taoist Xiyun hadn't braved the dangers and taught diligently, and if his disciples hadn't braved the wind and rain and persisted in training, how could there have been such profound martial arts? "One minute on stage, ten years of hard work off stage." Practice three days in the summer and three nines in the winter. Empress Qin once again admired Taoist Master Xiyun's advice and persistence.
Similar military training scenes, similar martial arts competition scenes. Queen Xuanyi of Qin recalled the scene in her hometown where her father, uncle and brother led the villagers to practice.
The southwest border of Chu State. The Tushui people live here because the climate is suitable, the rain is abundant, the men are strong and the women are beautiful. A place with mountains and rivers nourishes a person. They sow in spring, hunt in summer, harvest in autumn, and train soldiers in winter. The village built on the mountain is like an elegant and vivid ink painting, with its scattered earthen houses giving it a poetic and picturesque feel.
Xuan Yi has three uncles and three brothers, but she is the only girl in each lineage. So her parents regarded her as the apple of their eyes.
Queen Xuanyi of Qin recalled the days when she watched her uncle and brothers train soldiers——
At the mouth of the entire village, there is a huge flat land. At the end of autumn and the beginning of winter, the grains are harvested, the grains are returned to the warehouse, and the fruits in the mountains have been harvested. The sky is high and the clouds are clear, the breeze is blowing, women, children, old and young, gather together, enjoying peace and tranquility. Strong men will go to the martial arts training place to practice martial arts on their own and exercise their muscles and bones.
The eldest brother is very strong, his whole body is as thick as a heavy ancient tree stump, strong, straight and powerful. He is number one in boxing and is a role model for boxing in the whole village. All the strong men in the village trained boxing with him.
At dawn every day, in Daping, there are uniform sounds of "hum", "ha" and "ha" waving fists. Occasionally, you can hear the stern scolding of the elder brother to those who are practicing boxing. Six-year-old Xuanyi would sometimes rush to Daping with a bucket of porridge and give it to them to drink to increase their strength.
The villagers always give Xuan Yi a thumbs up and praise her for being smart, diligent and capable even though she is young. The memories of childhood have left traces in Xuan Yi's heart, and they are still fresh in her mind.
Xuan Yi's father is kind and loyal, and his mother is beautiful and virtuous. The father was engaged in manual labor outside. The first thing he did when he came back was to pick up the young Xuanyi and show off to his wife: "You are still capable and I gave birth to this lovely little girl!" Xuanyi's mother would then walk to her father and say, Holding Xuan Yi's little hand, she said, "Daughter, look at your dad doting on you like this!" Xuan Yi would be in her dad's arms, laughing excitedly and shouting happily: "Abba, Ama!"
Xuan Yi's mother would take her down and say distressedly: "Daughter, you have such a fair and tender face. When you grow up, your grandma will definitely not let you tan your face!" (To be continued)
