The hare was right ahead—Andraux could smell it in the leaves and grass that flapped at his nose. It was more nimble, but he was faster, and soon it would lose its footing, take a wrong turn, and he would catch it. Slave dripped from its open maw, flowing between its sharp teeth and fur, and its four feet danced gracefully on the ground. Then he saw his prey - the hare sitting under a bush, breathing heavily, thinking he was hiding. He jumped forward, teeth and claws bared, ready to tear it to pieces.
Before he could reach it, a blow knocked him out of the air and landed him hard on the ground. He instinctively tried to stand up, but stumbled and staggered. He looked back and found that one of his hind legs was so broken that he couldn't use it. The rush of the hunt prevented him from feeling any pain, but he knew that the pain would soon pass.
He turned to see what had hit him and saw a muscular man holding a club coming out from behind the tree where he had been hiding. He was clothed in the skins of several wild beasts and emitted a terrible, bewildering odor. He was not alone - there were many others behind him, each as fierce as the first. Then Ankrex turned and saw a small pack of scrawny, hungry wolves. Rather than pounce on these people and tear off their flesh for food, they were intimidated and frightened, forgetting that they were wolves. The humans laughed and pointed, mocking him and the others.
His attacker pulled a metal tooth from his clothes. Androx roared, but his broken body was unable to fight back, and the man stabbed him again and again through the ribs with it. Consciousness faded quickly.

control. He took a few breaths before he realized where he was, that he was human. He found himself sitting up.
The frigid air chilled the sweat that soaked his woolen shirt. The soft dusk told him that dawn was approaching, but the sun was still more than an hour away. The campfire still burned, but barely—a thin wisp of smoke drifted into the still air like a long, straight rope above the faint embers.
Flower and Pepper moved slightly, and when Anjax realized how cold it was, he quickly lay down and pulled the blanket back up. The little penguins were snuggling together, almost asleep, trying to fight off the chill as they crawled into bed.
No one is awake. Aguna and Gabi's blanket was a blurry, motionless mass, just like Deanna and Sev's blanket. Wolf Scar's doll's bed was still by the fire, where Argon had placed it, and it looked like the fairy had pulled the covers up over his head, for his glow was only barely visible against the black wooden headboard. Shine some light.
Androcles stared into the indigo predawn sky, trying to recall the details of his dream. His dreams were far more vivid than any time he could remember since he began the trip last summer; he hadn't yet decided if this was God's providence or the pressures of his lifestyle. This is the most intense one. He was once a wolf. He still remembers what it felt like to run on all fours. He knew what it was like to have a tail. He was like a bolt from the sky.
Was this dream a vision from the gods? The thought made him nervous, and not just because it ended in his humiliating death. Androcles knew many dreams sent by the gods, which rarely foreshadowed impending good fortune. In fact, his own father, Palamonos, said before he committed suicide after losing the last of his family fortune, he had a strange dream last week. Andros was just a child at the time, and his father wouldn't reveal any details, but one thing was certain: dreams from the gods usually meant trouble.
So how to explain Androx? Is he a wolf? It seems possible, but who knows for sure? Is he the man with the stick, or is he the rabbit? Or some other hungry wolf? Forgot how to do that The werewolf... no, that couldn't be him. He may have become increasingly uncivilized, but he certainly didn't lose his war-making side. Even though he was hunting, Della was his prey. Maybe?
He was turning it over and over in his mind, considering every detail, and was starting to think it might not mean anything at all, when Pepper stretched and opened his eyes.
"Good morning, Dad," Toolkit said. He also shook his black ears a few times, as he always did when he woke up. Androcles thought it was just another muscle to stretch, something the Raphaelians didn't have.
"Good morning, Pepper."
"It's cold!" the boy said, snuggling closer to himself and pulling the blanket tighter.
"It's cold. I don't know why anyone lives here." "Do you remember that fort we passed a few weeks ago? Was it that roofless wooden wall that surrounded the top of the mountain?"
"Yes."
"I bet they can only make so many because it's like this most of the year."
“Gotzo

How's it going? "That's a big building." Pepper thought for a while and answered.
The kit made sense, and Androx said, "Maybe it won't be so cold there? We'll have to ask Argon how they do it."
"I wish we were there instead of here," Pepper said, with a mischievous humor in her voice. "She's very nice. You're getting better so fast."
"The next time I fight the goddess, I will definitely be injured for longer. Three whole weeks, isn't it enough?"
"You should be injured until spring."
"What, do you miss the heavy snow?"
Hua woke up, muttering something about the cold weather, and then snuggled tightly to An A

The other side of okles. They lay there for a while, fighting against the call of nature. Of course, the women showed no sign of waking; sometimes Androques suspected that Aguna was pretending to sleep until breakfast was cooked over the fire and the carriage was half-loaded. He never complained, either, because he hoped to make her a lady one day, and they didn't do anything like that. The more he could bring her back from her days of planting roots in the ground, the better.
Androl and the children finally crawled out of their blankets to find Sev fully awake, his large silver eyes looking at them curiously. The flowers invited him to drink water with them and he had a great time. The little boy kept giggling, and so did Flower and Pepper. The kids tried drawing in the snow, which quickly became more exciting than it already was. A
d
Okles couldn't help but share their humor, although he didn't demean himself to the point of showing off the artistic skills he might possess. By the time they returned to the fire, his worries about the dream had dissipated.
He rekindled the fire, boiled the bread on the stove, wrapped Sev in a blanket, then stripped to his waist and led the children in the morning's military maneuvers. Jump, stab, kick. Punch, squat, block. Over and over, slightly different each time, until every move a man needs to know to fight in the phalanx is learned by rote.
When it first started snowing, Argon insisted that they stop exercising naked, and Raven inherited Dikaia
tradition of. This was the first time she'd actually threatened him, so he gave in and all three of them stayed in pants and shoes. It hadn't even been two days before he decided she was right, stomping around in the snow was no place to be naked.
The women woke up, each tended to their own needs, then sat under blankets by the fire to make sure the bread didn't burn. Wolf Sca

Take shelter on your blanket.
Deanna watched the entire workout from start to finish, and except for a few heartbeats, she never looked away. If she survived the demon, she might know something about combat, but even Pessar's generals didn't realize what they were looking at when they saw the drill. Maybe if she stayed long enough, he would explain some basics to her and impress her - the drill included several complete methods of fighting: shield, spear, sword, bare hands, but only if someone pointed it out You can only recognize it when you come and explain what all the different movements mean. Until then, it looks like some basic exercises with dance moves thrown in for variety.
In the final third, the kids started shaking, but he let them finish with him. Not for the first time, Ankerix wished they had a little fat on them, but due to the long journey and lack of rations, this was not possible. They look almost like comic imitations of bodybuilders, with their skin being so thin and tight. The boys themselves didn't seem to mind, though. They smiled proudly, flexed each other's little muscles, and then hurried back to bed.
They ate their breakfast slowly, both afraid of leaving blankets and fire behind. The Fangs sat together again, but when Gabby started to look lonely, they made an exception for her. In return, she tells them a crazy story about a talking tree that casts a spell on anyone who passes by. It's obvious that she's just stalling for time before she has to make a move, and Androx lets her end it all.
As soon as the carriage was packed, Agen drove off with the cattle, and the day officially began. Deanna was walking not far behind, looking around as if on guard. But mostly, she stared nervously at Seif, who sat between Aguna and Gabi. Maybe she thought he might be in danger of falling out, or suddenly becoming aggressive and biting. Xiaohua and Xiaojiao walked side by side holding hands as usual, with their tails intertwined. They whispered amid suppressed laughter, and Androker picked up on their quiet conversation some rude, childish jokes that Aguna would feign disapproval of.

Okles couldn't help but wonder what it would have been like to have an older brother when he was a child, and if they would have been close. If that brother died or abandoned him like everyone else he cared about. But he found that he was not jealous of the children, nor was he jealous of Gabi, Aguin, Wolfsca
, isn't even jealous of Sev and Deanna; instead, he's protective of their love for each other. They were his and his alone, and he alone could protect them. It's a good feeling.
There was little conversation all morning. It's too cold to do anything particularly energetic, even wolf scaga
I don’t want to stretch out a wing from under the blanket and cover Ga

As the day wore on into the afternoon, riders on their brightly decorated horses passed in both directions, but none stopped. Some carried swords at their waists, others carried spears on their backs, but most were unarmed. Androcles found it encouraging to have so much horse traffic. This shows that there is business here and the locals have enough money to keep healthy horses. Maybe he can be traded upfront for a reasonable price. Strangely, though, no one stopped to speak, even briefly. In the UK, although people love to talk, it often takes them longer than necessary to get anywhere. One must be very busy and not want to break the monotony of the road with a little friendly greeting.
But then they appear to have caught an unsuspecting rider. Just as they reached the top of the hill, the man spotted them from a quarter of a mile away. There he stood with his horse, but when he saw them he started and kicked his horse. The man rode past them without looking down or nodding.
There's nothing special about him. Red wool leggings, long-sleeved leather jacket, double leather boots, long light brown hair tied into a ponytail. No weapons. Just a guy minding his own business.
Someone who had been waiting for them and was completely unprepared. Ankerix waved his hand, and Argon stopped the bull. Almost everyone noticed the tension on his face and they all immediately started asking what was going on.
He put his finger to his lips to tell them to shut up, which they did.
When they were quiet, he whispered: "Wolf Sca
,come over. "The little fairy climbed out of the blanket covering Gabby's legs and quietly walked towards Anjax.
"I want you to fly down this road until you see someone, even if it seems far away, and then come back and tell me what they are doing. Tell me if they are sitting there waiting, or are they riding a horse , or whatever. Try to be sneaky. Got it? This is important."
Wolf Scar bit his fingertip and thought for a while. Then he nodded resolutely and flew upward so fast that it was hard to make out his light in the bright afternoon sky. He ran fast on the road, and everyone stared at him.
"What's going on, Dad?" Gabby asked. Aguna shooed her away, and when Seif tried to speak, she covered his mouth with her hand.
Of course, they didn't really need to be quiet; he just didn't want to explain himself and scare others with his suspicions. Especially after killing the man last night made them all sad. He didn't need them to be more afraid of him and his efforts than they were now.
So everyone waits, tense and quiet. Deanna walked up to Seph, put her hands on his shoulders, and kissed the top of his head. Little Pepper and Hua stood together tightly, tangled their tails together again, and waited anxiously for the wolf to scare away

Okles took hold of one of his hands as loosely as before. He wondered when the fairy would learn to slow down before it was too late, but maybe that would never happen. His judgment of distance was poor.
"I spotted a guy riding very slowly, but he was quite far away from me, I think. He walked across that open spot, walked over that hill, and onto another hill, next to the mushrooms."
"mushroom?"
"Yeah." Wolf scolded
Say it confidently. "Is that all?" I wanted to go back. "
"Is he riding slowly? Slower than someone who has already passed us?"
"That horse was just...well..." Wolf Sca
He said, kicking his hooves with his hands while trying to explain clearly.
"Doesn't it look like it's in a hurry when it walks?"
"I think so. I think it's doing that."
"Good. When you see him again, let me know. Got it? That means you can't hide under the blanket all the time. You have to stick your head out."
"Okay," he replied. He jumped out of Androx's grasp and flew over to Gabi, looking for a place to stay warm.
If the man was riding faster when they caught up to him, Androx would know that he had been waiting just like the previous rider. He motioned to Argen to let the cow move again, and Argen did so.
The carriage rolled on the icy dirt road, and no one spoke. Deanna looked nervous now. She frowned slightly, eyes darting around as if she shared his suspicions. Come to think of it, she'd barely spoken all day. She stayed behind the carriage, far enough away that she was still part of the company, but not close enough that no one could talk to her.
However, he has no reason to be tempted by her now. Instead, he watched his surroundings as closely as she did. He began to sense a trap.

Okles has a dozen or so, and when he wants to stalk someone without their knowledge, he does just that - places them at specific signposts on the side of the road, has them pose as travelers, and waits until his prey reaches these Will report back after the location.
If he had a hundred men, he might have eighty of them lie in wait at an ideal ambush site, far enough behind to remain undetected, but close enough that he could ride over to join the trap when it opened. Come to think of it, he should check it out.
"Wolfsca
,Come out. "I have something else for you to find." "
The fairy stuck her head out of the blanket on Gabby's lap, looking like a grumpy little doll, and said, "But I'm not completely warm yet!"
"I know, but it's important."
"Is it going to matter later?"
"I...well, I guess we can wait a little longer. I'll count out two hundred steps, and then you'll have to go. Sounds fair?"
"What's two hundred?"
"Two hundred is two hundred."
"I mean how long?"
"As long as you can." Snuggled together. I'll start now. "True to his word." Androx counted his steps and walked slowly like an ox. He really needed to give the wolf a scare.
Make another coat, or if he sees fit, a shirt and trousers, just right for his little limbs. The fairy complained that the fur was too heavy and would rub against his wings, but maybe two layers of linen? Or he would find someone who sells mouse skins. Not too possible.
"That's 200. Come out."
Wolf Sca
He swaggered out of the blanket, but Ga

As the fairy flew over, Ankerix said, "Do you remember where we stopped for lunch?"
"I think so. The cow was pooping, and then... I think I remember."
"Very good. I want you to fly all the way back and find a few people on the road to ride with or even walk with. If you find one, I want you to get close and see if they have weapons. Then come back and tell me how many there are and what they have Weapons. Got it?”
Wolf Sca
He put his fingertips into his mouth, thought for a moment, then nodded and flew in the other direction.

Okles asked the children to feed and water the cows while everyone waited. Deanna paced back and forth, still hesitating, glancing at Sev and Ann Craig from time to time. It almost looked like she was trying to make a decision. Hopefully it wasn't a question of whether or not to warn him of the trap she was trying to help him out of.
The fairy came back faster than Androx expected. This was not the first time that he suspected wolf sca
How fast can you fly? This time, instead of hitting someone to stop, he flew around the cow a few times and slowed down. When he finally stopped, he asked, "Are we all eating, or is it just the cows?"
"Only cows. We stopped for the night before eating. "What did you see?"
"Like you said, there were some guys. They all had swords, except one without one. They weren't riding anywhere, though. They were just sitting on their horses drinking water. I think it was water. Like you put water in it. "
Ankerix's heart sank, even though he had expected this. "how many people?"
Wolf Sca
I thought for a while and counted with my fingers. "More than a dozen, but not much more, I think."
"Very good. Let's continue to warm up." Androx's mind was spinning rapidly as he considered his options. He was almost certain someone was following him, most likely the same rider from the night before. He didn't know how the man assembled something like this so quickly, but the rush likely limited the total number of personnel available.
During a short winter day, an ox can only pull a cart 12 to 16 miles, depending on its mood. A dozen cavalrymen could cover this distance in two hours at a trot. Setting up such an ambush would be simple if the locals had the ability to muster fifty or more men in one night. They could have torn it to pieces before his eyes - there were people riding up and down the road all day long. They would most likely have set up an ambush near where he spent the night, exhausted after a day's travel, and followed him along with anyone watching him.
"Hmm, ogre?" Argon said. "Someone following us?"
"I'm not sure yet, but we'll find out soon."
"After it's too late?"
"I hope not. Let's act. Wolfsca
, remember to pay attention to the person in front. "
When travel resumed, the kids remained sullen and jittery. The boys were closer to him than before, Gabby stroking the wolf like a kitten
head, looks almost like Flowe
Just as pale.
However, Deanna looked frustrated in a different way. Angry, maybe annoyed. He couldn't tell, but she was frowning and almost stamping her feet as she walked. She stayed behind the cart as before, and Androx decided he had no interest in staring at her.
Instead, he kept a close eye on the terrain, hoping to find the best spot for an ambush before he moved in. He wishes the bullock carts were less noisy, with their squeaky wheels and squeaky planks, because he would rather listen to the sound of horses' hooves in relative quiet.
They walked a rocky path first, as the autumn rains had washed away too much dirt, and then took a slow detour to avoid an icy patch of grass that might have been too wet in the summer. May go. As they entered a large clearing that was as flat as snow-covered farmland, they saw a man on horseback walking quickly toward them.
"Wolfsca
, is it him?"
"Oh! Well... I guess so."
"Has he ever driven so fast before?"
"No, he was driving very slowly."
"Good." He turned to Deanna and said, "Hold his horse. Got it?"
"Sorry, what?" she replied, still uneasy. Frustrated? That’s okay.
But there was no time to explain. The man on horseback, with thick short brown hair and regular features, was almost there. He just glanced in their direction and walked over, which meant he didn't see Androx's attack at all.
Androcles swung the spear-handle into his chest with lightning speed, knocking him from the saddle, shattering his bones and collapsing his ribcage. He fell backwards and fell headfirst onto the solid pavement, hitting the ground with a thud and lying motionless.
Sev and Ankerex's three children screamed in horror. The boys jumped back so fast that Flower fell over and Pepper almost tripped over him, but he managed to pull his brother up and they ran and hid behind the carriage.
The horse walked on, probably startled. "Seize it!" cried Androx.
Deanna hesitated and almost missed her chance, but she stepped back at the last second and managed to grab the reins. The horse neighed and grunted at her, but she didn't let go, and it soon calmed down, thank the gods. If it tried to trample her, he wasn't sure who would win, but either way, it would leave a mess.
The man on the road was breathing heavily, his eyes rolling wildly with fear. His mouth moved violently, as if he wanted to speak or scream, but he couldn't get enough air into his shrunken lungs to make a sound. The rest of him was immobile - his neck was broken.
Andrew smiled bitterly to himself. This couldn't be better. There was no blood, the horse was caught, and there was no sign of a struggle on the hard dirt track. He roughly lifted the man, threw him over his shoulders like a sack of grain, and turned to see his frightened, pale family members looking around but not at him. "Be right back. Deanna, hold on to that horse."
He left the road and walked to the left, towards a large bush thirty paces away. Once he got there, the weak gasps became desperate, and the man's face began to turn purple, which meant that he could suffocate to death at any time. A
d
The okles pulled themselves together and threw the dying man over the bushes. He landed hard in the snow on the other side, sinking so low that even without the bushes he would have been undetected.
Androcles unbuttoned his trousers and began to urinate, all the while secretly proud of his cleverness, and returned to his family. Let them investigate the lead. They never find the person they are looking for.
Deanna was the first to speak. She walked right up to him, blocking his way. "We're done with you, Master Androx," she said, a hint of resentment in her voice.
"Now?"
"I've been thinking about this all day. It's time for us to go our separate ways."
"What, here? Right after you found out we were being hunted? Right in the middle of the road? Do you know what that looks like?"
Deanna glared at him fiercely and said, "How dare you say that, I have helped you so much."
At this time Aguna had jumped down from the bench and walked towards her, frowning and arranging a few strands of brown hair. "Deanna, girl, what's going on?"
"I just want to break up! What's the big deal?" Deanna nearly screamed.
Aguna responded equally angrily: "What's so big about you thinking you can spend the winter alone with no clothes on and a baby, you fool? Where do you think you'll go? What will you eat?"
"We're doing pretty well for ourselves so far, you fat eagle!" Do you think we need you?"
Androx insisted grimly: "Give me an explanation. A convincing reason."
Deanna was clearly struggling to control her emotions, which seemed to be spiraling out of control. She took a deep breath, exhaled slowly, and said: "Master Androx, my Sephi and I pose a threat to your family. I don't want him to stay around you for too long. You He’s a murderer at heart and I don’t want him to be like that.”
"I didn't murder anyone!" he hissed angrily. "If you want to go, fine. Do it. Just don't go in either direction or you'll ruin my advantage. Take him south or west. That way you can leave the Alien Kingdom. But Not too far south, because anyone in the Legion of Glory would feel the same way I do about Sev. It would be a shame if someone strangled him. I'm starting to like the little man." It's not manly to be like that. He felt his face turn a little red after admitting it, but that was the truth.
Argon was beginning to lose patience with the young woman, an emotion creeping into her voice. She said: "The night is falling, girl, and you have nowhere to go. Why the rush? Why not at least wait until tomorrow morning?"
"Because he murdered two people in a horrific way in less than a day. I think this Master Androx just loved bloodshed and he was looking forward to more bloodshed. His vitality channel didn't twist on its own, and I don't want to Let my Sephi spend too much time on that. I want his little soul to stay pure," Deanna said. Her words were directed at Argen, but she faced him, shoulders back and chin up to show her pride.
Aguna stepped on her while wagging her finger angrily. “If Sev inherits this man’s vices and only has one tenth of his virtues, you’re in luck! Do you think you can raise a child by yourself, with no money, no food, and no home? You Do you think he will get better like this?"
"As long as he doesn't kill everyone who quarrels with him, then I will kill him!" Deanna said without giving in. She turned to him. "you really are
aïve, Master Androx. I've been thinking about this all day. You were really stupid to think that just by saying "no" to them and killing a guard they would let you through. They've been hunting me and I just stole a skinny slave. Now they're hunting you and you're giving them more reasons to kill you, which only makes things worse. You're going to get everyone killed and I don't want to see that here. Sefi and I are leaving. I don't even want to think about what happens when you get an arrow in the throat that you didn't expect. ” As she spoke, her voice gradually rose to the point of almost shouting.
"I'm sure being in the middle of a slow trap has nothing to do with it," Ankerex said, staring at his crossed arms.
"You're not worried. You're looking forward to it because your heart is filled with blood and fire. All that crap about your big house? You'll get bored after half a day and find someone to kill. You can't fool me, Android Si. They are all afraid of you and afraid of what will happen if you abandon them. They think it is love. But I see your true colors."
Androchus nearly lost his temper at the insult. Only the presence of the children kept him from trying to burn her on the spot.
Aguna stamped her foot and yelled, "Deanna, what's your problem?" But she didn't sound angry, she sounded disappointed and sad. "What's going on, girl? What's with that bald head of yours?" She tried to put her hands on Deanna's shoulders, but the young woman just pulled away.
“I couldn’t be more clear. I don’t want him—!” She pointed at Sev. “Look at this—!” Pointing to Androx, “This seems normal!”
Androchus stared at her contemptuously for a moment, then said: "Go to him then. I'll get you a blanket."
Deanna nodded and went to find Seph. As soon as she touched him, he squirmed and tried to move away from her. He had nowhere to go, however, and Deanna pulled him from his seat next to Gabi, who had an expression on her face that seemed to remind her of Tatar. Deanna whispered something into the boy's ear, but that didn't stop him from anxiously trying to escape her control.

Okles handed her two good blankets and half a bag of flour, wondering how much more she wanted. "Are these blankets okay, or do you want another blanket to bury him in?"
Aguna hit him hard in the kidney. It hurts.
Sev asked plaintively: "Dina, what's going on? Do we have to go?"
Deanna ignored him and said, "Thank you, Master Androx. Two blankets will do, and the flour should be enough for a while."
Aguna said angrily: "You silly girl, this thing is enough for you for three days. You took more than this. Come, let me pack some for you." Then she pointed angrily at the Android Chris, added: "Shut up!" He shrugged without arguing.
Aguna had wrapped up so much of their food that Androl could not lift it, and tied it into a bundle and placed it in front of the saddle.
"Dina? What happened?" Seph asked again as he mounted the stolen horse. He tried to slide off, but Deanna grabbed his arm and gave him a look.
She placed the blanket on the imp's legs and grabbed the reins. Her preparations finally completed, she turned and said, "Thank you for your hospitality. Good luck." Then she led the horse off the road and into the pasture, toward some low hills in the distance.
Flower calmly said a sad and uncertain "Goodbye," which was quickly repeated by the others. Sev said goodbye too, his voice weak and confused.
After Deanna had taken the horse six steps, Sev burst into tears. He hugged the blanket and cried again and again, and could still be heard crying for several minutes. The tragic, desolate, and desperate tone of this sentence sharply hurt Angelus's heart. Oddly enough, Sev didn't resist, didn't argue - just accepted the truth and mourned. What a strange kid he had been.

Okles tried to ignore the lump in his throat and instead tried his best to stop caring about the little boy and his crazy demon. He couldn't get rid of the tightness in his chest, but that wasn't enough to cost him any dignity.
He knew it was for the best, even if her departure could have been less hostile and sudden. First, he doesn't have to worry about Seph sucking in evil spirits and killing others while they sleep. For two kids, now he doesn't have to worry about getting food or clothing from his limited supplies. In that respect at least, it's certainly enjoyable. However, he may be able to exploit Deanna in the upcoming ambush. He was going to miss her for this.
He helped Argen back to the bench and they started walking again. His children were nervous and miserable, as anyone could have expected. Gabby lowered his head and slapped the wolf
Holding her tightly in her lap, as if she was afraid that he would leave too. She deadpanned, which was never a good sign for her. The boys kept watching to see if Deanna would decide to turn around, perhaps unwilling to believe that it was actually happening.
The more he thought about it, the more he felt that Deanna's behavior was justified. What she said could be explained by her youthful passion, stupidity, and poor judgment. She deserves to be whipped for this. But it might be wise to not want Seif to see the blood. Who knows what makes these little guys look like big shots? If not letting him kill anyone keeps him sane, it's worth it. She's a stupid girl, and the only question is whether her horse or her demon will die first, but she's probably just trying to protect the boy, and at least, he understands.
Of course, he won't forgive her. He had no reason to forget that she had insulted him, despite helping him so much, and then abandoned him to his enemies.
After that, they walked in silence for at least half an hour. Each of them has their own watch to protect against impending disaster. The silence became so unsettling that Androll began to wonder if he should try to say something to cheer them up, or at least cheer them up.
Before Pepper could think anything, he said: "I thought we could make a lot of friends this morning. Now I can only think about..." He paused, with a conflict that cannot be expressed in words. . He continued: "All I can think about is Seve and Deanna's bones. There were birds on them."
"Don't say that!" Gabby shouted, raising her hand to spank the black-eared kitten, even though she was only five steps away from him, sitting on the stroller. But then her eyes darkened and she shut her mouth, no doubt imagining the same thing. She buried her face in the blanket, and her golden hair spread out on all sides.
Perper continued that his voice was painful, "I can't think of anything else. Only his small skeleton, there is a bird pecking his bones on it. I can't erase it from my mind now."
If his children used to be gloomy, then they are now as depressed as graves. A

Okles sighed, he knew that everyone was about to cry. "Pepper, listen.
A's tough. She defeated a demon and survived. Isn't she or Stef both orphans? Palos will take care of them. He did well for us. "
Peroper did not answer, but Agur said: "I hope so. They are all his. I know they are. Wait. Wait." She stopped the car. "In the name of a child, Androps, did you just express his devotion and concern for another living person?" Who took me a stone; I needed a monument to sculpt me. "
He smiled, and the children smiled slightly. "You must have heard it wrong. Should you water the cow?"
"Yes. Children, drink some water for this poor guy," Agen said. She hugged Gabi with one hand and kissed her hair, but the girl still seemed very nervous.
They only let the cattle rest for a while, about a moment. After another hour, the sun is going down the mountain, which means that he may not have much way to go before he walked into the trap, or before the riders caught up with it from behind. He is still not sure if there is a standard ambush before -it may be just a road barrier near a good camp, and they will try to sneak in at night.
When the person who was killed was not reported, the hunter would think that Andrex left the path earlier than him, and he might come to him to find him. He won some time -when he didn't come, they would spend time waiting for him to investigate -but he had to make good use of these times.
However, if you think about it, why don't you just jump out of the trap and kill them all? If you want to ambush success, they must be on his head, which is close to him enough to prevent him from running away. Once they feel his killing intention, they will re -consider their actions. Those who are far away and will not be stunned. It can kill all the enemies who have been defeated by it, and then threaten it loudly after the remaining enemies. It is likely that the king will feel that it is not worth doing this and let it leave safely.
Now, if they have stone or archers, it is completely another matter, but Andropleus has seen soldiers, slaves and robbers, and none of them have archers or stone castles. none. He heard such a discussion in the army, but he did not believe — it is said that the northern barbarians have never heard of bow, let alone use the bow. It was not even for hunting -they hunting with nets, spears and dogs, nothing else. Andrex has never fought with them, but he learned about their combat methods from those who hit them. The simple fact is that he did not see any bow, although he should see it. No one hung on the shoulder of the logging worker, and no one hung on the back of the sentinel. No type of soldiers can be carried.
After walking again a mile, Andrex saw the first of them. The man was far away from the roadside; he kept waiting for a tree, and when the carriage approached, he began to move forward. On the other side, Androx found another person. Then another. Then there was another dozen soon.
They did not wait, and did not jump out immediately. Instead, they were scattered along the road. The farther the And Rockler walked, the more they had. They did not take appropriate ambush, but began to make a circle around him. As more and more people came out of their hiding place, this circle became clearer. They took him to ensure that he would not sneak away in the dark.
“阿古娜,准备做一个盾牌。孩子们,上车。移动它!他悄声说。花和小辣椒以最快的速度爬到船边,钻进去,蹲在那里,只露出头顶和耳朵,以便Can see. Gabi hugged Agurn tightly, and the chubby woman stared at the road with a perseverance. She put one hand on the bag on her knees.
One dozen, two dozen, they are still here. Everyone walks, but most people hold the horse. They are all outside his killing intention, although they cannot know. Seeing that the person he had used was either died in the car.
With the increasing number of them, this circle began to approach them from fifty steps, leaving only twenty steps. Men continue to appear, filling the vacancies one by one. After fifty, he no longer count, but they continue to come.
The sky soon became dark, and the sun hid as soon as possible to avoid the shame of winter. When people began to fall in the rapid twilight, one of them took out a lantern and ignited it with a spark. More people follow his steps, maybe every four or five people have one. As soon as the lanterns were on, Android completely realized how many people they had.
He was completely surrounded by no less than 200 armed personnel. Some people hold their long and ugly swords; there are swords and shields; but most people are holding spears. The spears they carry are short, not even their height, and most people are more than one.
He suddenly realized that those people were throwing a spear. They do not need bow and arrows and stones, because they have two or three hundred spears to throw him into him. Andrex suspected that if he was not hiding under the carriage at the last moment, could he hell be shot. There are not so much spears, and there are no two or three shots. Agen and the children were skewed like a lame pig before the banquet.
If those people jumped out of the rock and wanted to cut him away, he would resist. Anyone can guess that he will do this, and it is likely to kill a large group of people. But this choice has been closed for him. Either surrender, or die, there will be no fighting.
It's useless to go forward. He signaled Agena to stop the car, then took a few steps forward, and inserted his spear on the ground. Behind him, his children were so silent; even wolf SCA
The light is invisible. He could almost feel their fear like the calories emitted from the fire. Silence was so angry that he couldn't breathe.
A group of riders came from behind and entered the circle. Ankrex turned around and immediately recognized the first person in them -this was the soldier or guard of the red clothes the day before, the man wearing a wing helmet, he wanted Diana Hessev.
Before he has the opportunity to approach his family, A
d
Okles came back and greet him. The horse rider went down, stepped forward to speak, without weapons, and followed another person to hold the lantern with another person.
"Can you fight?" The man asked briefly. His voice was bland and emotional, just like yesterday.
"If I don't do this, will they be hurt?" A
d
Okles replied.
"They will be punished for your good behavior."
Andrex straightened his body, highlighting the width of his whole body muscles, and put on his most popular anger. When the children started fighting, he was treating them. He was silent for a while, and then said loudly: "Atbrojian, each of my people was hurt by your hand, and I killed a hundred people who killed you. I swears with my name and the giant killer Andauk Les, the son of Paramonos, the name of my ancestor Agapatus. I swear under the witness of the king of the gods, and it will be the case in the future. "
When Android Kles spoke, he released his killing intention and started slowly, letting him develop. In addition to twenty steps, the face of the first circle became pale and trembling. When his angry wave rolled from them, their torch danced uniformly. Although the people who gathered together insisted on their positions, they still made a terrible whisper.
The person standing in front of him was not affected at all, and he did not show any signs of wrong. His cold eyes and cold faces were still watching Ankrex as before, and he ignored his increasing uneasiness. The person who took the lantern took a step back, tripped, and fell to the ground. The lantern was not extinguished, and the leader reached out and picked it up.
"I am Arthurfill, the son of the king," he said. He stared calmly at Ankrex, just like a statue, quiet and disturbing. The lanterns in his hand shown his face from below, making him very vicious.
Andrex released his killing intention again, but just wanted to see if that person would respond. He said: "I can kill you before my spear hit me."
Aldofer still did not show signs of affected. He said: "I don't think you can. Surrender, I will defeat you. Battle, you will die. Will you fight?"

Okles looked up at the sky, but found that the sky was dark. The lantern destroyed his night vision, and there were only a few weak light spots in the darkness above. He gave up the idea of killing, and the light of the torch stopped beating. He heard some people panting in surprise and fear.
After taking a deep breath and druming the courage, Ankrex made his jumps down from his arm. It banged on the cold ground. It sounds like Dica's bright door bang, and he may never see it anymore. A kind of thing rushed to his heart, a kind of old thing he had never felt for many years: failed.
This reminds him of his drowned dream -the helpless ending, that moment he realized that death was inevitable and determined. He was too deep, and his armor could never be taken off, and the water would not become air. Too late.
He let go of his beautiful spear, but it fell without any sound. He looked at what placed on the ground and found that it was as meaningless as a piece of pieces of pieces.
The prince said nothing, and people rushed to Andreck with a rope and tied him up. A
d
Okles never looked at them because he was ashamed to see the contempt in their eyes. On the contrary, he looked up again and could see nothing.
A group of people tied his hands and feet, and then threw him sideways immediately, letting him run towards the king. In the sound of horseshoe, he couldn't hear how Agen and the children went.
When he was shaken and pushed on the road, he looked forward to anger, shame, anxiety or any other emotions he could control or resist. On the contrary, he only found emptiness, deep, and devouring everything. fail. end.
