It’s never too late or too early to rock.
Because stones cannot count years. They don't pay attention to time. But Rock cares about some numbers. quality. diameter. speed.
Start with these three things and most other things follow. The stone has a simple philosophy: if it encounters a problem, it will try to increase these three numbers, and usually, the problem will be solved.
It has been successful for so long.
So when the rock finally reached [the doomsday meteor] after its long journey, it noticed the numbers.
It knows how fast it is approaching the opponent. It knows how quickly the other person grows in its sight. It can estimate things. Carrying out patient calculations in its mind, the rock estimated the [Doomsday Meteor].
It's about... 10,000 meters wide, and assuming it has the same density as our hero, its weight could be around 1361 3556 816 5555 580 kilograms. A simple calculation for our rock. The results are clear.
It's...much bigger than the rock.
But – the bigger rocks had no spark. As it flung with its [Cultivator] senses, our heroes saw that there was no will guiding the [Doomsday Meteor] forward, only the iron claws of gravity.
Is it disappointed? Maybe. Perhaps the stone hopes to eventually meet its own kind. What would such a meeting look like?
The closest thing to it is the elemental earth, but that's magic controlling the structure of the rock, not the actual rock itself.
A cousin at most.
So when the rock sees the huge meteor without sparks, it doesn't feel sad because it doesn't know what it has lost. But any potential hope was dashed, and a journey filled with anticipation became the norm.
Everything is business as usual.
However, the rock was in no rush to fight its larger brethren, nor to destroy it. Nor did it attempt to absorb it into its asteroid swarm or use its gravitational capabilities to deflect it.
No, for a moment the rock just looked on. and thoughts. It remembers the flesh-and-blood people who manipulated the metal cannonballs from the inside. A small thing, controlling a big thing.
Rock had an idea.
This system prevents it from absorbing new mass directly, forcing it to grow only through layers. But our hero is not one to follow the rules when a more direct path lies ahead.
First, it tries.
The rock stopped the three concentric rings of asteroids surrounding it, pausing for a moment the eternal dance. Then it drew a deep well, a deep hole, in its place, and sat at the bottom.
Other stones began to fall. reunion. collect.
Until the rock was covered with a huge layer of stone, expanding a hundred times in size. feels good. Like something meaningful.
But as it moves, the shell moves with it, like a loose blanket of pebbles.
Not an iron shield.
The rock realized that it was made of such small pieces that it was too fragile to be a garment of iron forged from something like flesh. but…
It once again observed a huge meteor ahead. That one is really good.
Then the rock finally accelerated and flew towards the rugged surface. But it's not too fast, it's very slow.
Flow speed: 18.2 meters/second
Because the rocks don't want to smash the meteor into pieces. They have to be connected and intact for the rock's plan to work. A simple plan, as always. Increase mass, increase diameter.
It landed on the moon's surface. One much like its own on a rock-hard surface, although the precise composition is a bit off.
How did it get in?
It thought again of the two sets of metal armor, especially the other one. Because while it's not used in combat, it does have a very unique shape on its right arm. Tools from previous mining suits.
A drill.
The rock focuses on its diamond skin, trying to make something different this time. Not covering the whole body, just a little bit. It gathers all the chi and sends it not to the surface, but to the outside. Forming a diamond arrowhead, sticking out from the rock like a unicorn's great horn.
It turned the drill on [the Doomsday Meteor] and did something different, something new. It uses [Energy Conversion], but not the same kinetic energy conversion as usual.
No, it creates spin.
The rock began to spin, and the drill head pointed at the giant and began to dig holes inside. Rocks are forever, but so are diamonds, so the drill drills through.
Not urgent. Not urgent.
Very peaceful. Methodically.
The drill bit crushes the rock into dust, which then has to use the gravity of meteor showers and small channels to move it around. Occasionally it would have to be pulled out to let the crushed pulp flow out, and then it would go back inside.
Soon, very soon, the rock reached the center of the meteor.
It stopped drilling, letting the shards of diamond formed from the air fade away, and focused its senses. Focus on its area.
Because what is the difference between the rock it is currently on and itself? Why does the rock have sparks, but the [Doomsday Meteor] does not?
It gathers its territory, expands its boundaries, and begins to compress it. Because it fits right over the meteor, like a good-sized glove. Getting closer. On the surface of the giant meteor until it nearly bursts at the seams.
Then it started pouring Qi into the entire area, taking control of the entire area.
The rock felt the air vessel sprout and spread through the meteor, like little cables, spreading out to cover it wholesale. Gradually, its consciousness expanded.
It can feel bigger rocks. Not like itself, but like an appendage. It is firmly held in place.
Next, the rock draws a deep well of gravity over the hole it dug, allowing rocks and dust to fall in and block the entrance. Then it tries to activate [Diamond Skin]. A glittering shell unfolded.
It covers the entire asteroid, even though it's a massive thing. Even the hole drilled by the stone.
The rocks grew larger and larger than any seen on the top of the mountain.
Then, as gravity kicks in, it gives the entire thing the tiniest bit of push. Let it veer off course.
Saved a planet.
Guardians of the Galaxy mission completed!
congratulations!
Bonus experience!

5 000 / 20000 xp
Rock isn't too happy about not being upgraded, but on the other hand, it doesn't need the system's help to grow. It’s not about learning new skills either.
It attaches itself to a larger rock and takes control of it, growing larger. It has learned to do this entirely on its own, simply by practicing its ki manipulation.
It touched its new shape, more connected than before, and pushed it again. Just the smallest one.
Galaxy Guardian Alert!
Level 10 [Doomsday Meteor]() will hit the [Soil Planet] in 220 years!

Yes, the stone pushes the route back to where it was - not because it's trying to trick the system into getting infinite experience, although that's nice, but because the form is worth it. This shape is huge. With this form, it has grown enough to challenge its enemies and reach the end of its mission.
However, it only grew the first two of its three key numbers. A real solution still requires one last bit, that our heroes aren't just inanimate (Doomsday Meteo
》).
It used [Energy Conversion] and began to accelerate. Not just mass and diameter, but also speed.
A number begins to shrink.
The old one, the one it followed for so long, but also the new one. That new car went very slowly - very slowly. Because it's not easy to accelerate so much new mass. But... it also started to shrink.

Planetary destruction: 220 years
After a long period of acceleration, it finally stopped.
Pursue:
Planetary destruction: Year 219
Yes, that number is shrinking now too, faster than it should be. The rock rumbles in its new shell, anticipating its grand return.
Looking forward to the end of its mission. The jade sculpture stretched out its hand to it.
Now, it really is time.
