The old lady standing aside smiled and motioned for the monk to continue. The monk told a mysterious thing: in the past life, this buffalo was a female owner of a hotel.
One day, three male guests came and stayed in the hotel all night. Early the next morning, the female boss saw that the three men were still sleeping, so she walked to the door and said through the door: You don’t want to leave for now, I will go shopping. I’ll make some dishes for you to have breakfast. After you eat, we’ll pay the bill together. Although the three male guests in the room did not open the door, they could hear the female boss talking outside, and they all agreed to have breakfast and pay the bill together.
But when the female boss went to the street and bought braised vegetables and other things, and was about to make breakfast for them, she found that the three male guests had taken the opportunity to leave without paying a penny for the accommodation. The female boss tossed the braised vegetables she just bought, raised her eyebrows, gritted her teeth, and cursed to herself: These three bastards, if I meet them next time, I will definitely kill them.
Everyone was listening excitedly when the monk suddenly stopped and looked at Bai Qizi but hesitated to speak. Instead, Bai Qizi asked him, Master, do you have anything to say to me?
Amitabha, the monk put his palms together and said: If I say it, I don’t know if you can accept it, and I don’t know if others can accept it. If I don't do it well, others will accuse me of being a monk who makes nonsense. Secondly, I am afraid that some ignorant people will come to our temples to cause trouble.
Bai Qizi looked at the old lady, and the old lady looked at everyone, then walked to the middle of the field, poked the crutch on the ground, looked at the monk and said in a loud voice: Just tell the truth, if someone makes trouble, my old lady will be responsible. .
Amitabha. The monk was relieved and continued: Whether it is the karma of the underworld or the Yang world, I am not happy at all. Mortals generally can only see changes in the present world, but do not know the reasons for the changes in things.
The monk suddenly took the crutches of the old lady and pushed away the crowd. He pointed at the horned buffalo head that was covered with blowflies due to the smell and said: This buffalo was the female owner of a hotel in its past life. , because she has done too many evil things that are harmful to nature, such as scalding a live donkey with boiling water to get fresh meat. Her cruel actions have caused serious sins, so now she has become an animal and has to suffer retribution and elimination of karma. As for Li Jiese, Li Jiese and Li Funing who were killed, crushed and beaten to death by the buffalo, they stayed in the hotel owned by the female boss in the past life and escaped early in the morning when the female boss gave them breakfast. The three travelers who had no intention of settling the bill had bad intentions. Amitabha, people should not have bad intentions. If you have bad intentions, you will be punished in the next life.
When Bai Qizi heard this, her face turned blue and white for a while, and she wanted to get angry at the monk, but when she saw the pious attitude of the old lady who was listening attentively to the monk, she refrained from getting angry.
The monk looked at the bull's head again and said that it was a female boss in its past life. Because of a curse, it killed the three people who had a bad relationship with it in this life. Amitabha Buddha, in the world of Saha, the world of mortals is blind. All living beings are often interested in small gains, and they will not hesitate to fight for it. Even if they are grudges, they will not let go. Some may have the desire to retaliate against others, or may have the desire to kill others to vent their anger, and form grudges. Extremely deep, retribution of injustice leads to reincarnation in the sea of suffering, from which it is never possible to escape. If you listen to the Bodhisattva's teachings, you will realize that the sea of suffering is boundless and you can turn around and find the shore; put down the butcher's knife and become a Buddha immediately!
After hearing what the monk said, everyone was speechless. Even Bai Qizi's mood calmed down. She believed that her husband being crushed to death by the bull's head was an inevitable disaster, so he was not overly sad, nor did he particularly hate the bloody bull's head. .
At this time, the monk performed Buddhist rituals to everyone and was about to leave. Bai Qizi caught up and asked: "Senior Monk, what should I do with this cow head?" After you have explained this cause and effect, who would dare to eat its flesh?
Amitabha. The monk put his palms together and said: You'd better bury this cow's head like a deceased person, so as to comfort its ghost, accumulate evil virtue, turn misfortunes into blessings, and keep your family safe.
It turned out that after the buffalo died, the Animal God captured its soul and came to the Chakravartin Palace. The Wheel-turning King threw a piece of cowhide to it and said that your bond with the cow is not broken and you will continue to be reborn as a cow in the next life.
The dead buffalo soul was a little reluctant, but the palace servant whipped it and drove it to the road of animal reincarnation. In just a moment, it came to a mountainous area. There was a reservoir there. There was little water in the reservoir. The water surface of the dam was covered with grass, which spread to Kuki. Walking down the Kuki, you will reach Yidian. The water was turbid, and many buffaloes had soaked in it; there was a cow standing on the bank, who had come out of the jungle to drink from the water. It was a little scared when it saw the buffalo soaking in the water, because it was often attacked by the buffalo.
At this time, the female ox was very thirsty and found a male ox following her. The male ox came to the bank not to drink water, but to be friendly with the female ox. When the female ox saw the male ox coming, she became bolder, so she ran to the water and put her head into the water to drink. Its shadow was also reflected in the turbid water, swaying, which startled the people soaking in the water. A buffalo looked at the cow. It glared at the cow and swam over. Before the cow quenched its thirst, it was scared away. It spread its legs and ran towards the bank. The domineering buffalo gave up its attack. .
At this moment, the bull ox is facing it, swinging its head with two horns, not to quarrel with it, but to show its friendship and playfulness.
The female ox didn't seem to be interested and ran straight along the Kuba towards the forest on the other side of the Kuba. The male ox also followed and gradually caught up. The female ox was licking the green leaves on a water bamboo with her tongue. Like the male ox, she also had a pair of brown-red horns. Unlike the horns of the buffalo, which were curved, the horns looked like they had just grown from the soil. The bamboo shoots emerging from the bamboo shoots are round and thick at the roots and tapered at the top, as if they are specially used for fighting or self-defense.
Now the male ox is behind it, using his mouth to smell its Yin under the base of its long tail. He was indifferent to what the bull scalper did, just like a dissident element, still just grazing. Suddenly it raised its tail and peed, but the bull continued to sip with his mouth and licked it with his tongue, as if he was enjoying a delicious meal.
At this time, the female ox felt something. She stood still and allowed the male ox to attack in a friendly manner. The meaty thing under the belly of the male ox became erect like a hammer, so it took a few steps forward and jumped up, lying on the back of the female ox, performing their ancestral lineage activity very optimistically.
In the underworld, the souls of the buffaloes are seeking to be reborn, so it is natural for them to plant embryos during their enjoyment.
Suddenly, the wind and clouds surged, and the branches all over the mountain swayed involuntarily. There were also lightning and thunder, and the dark jungle was filled with streaks of light. The bull scalper was a little scared and quickly ended the process of making clouds and rain.
The rain from the sky was really falling in thick layers, soaking the branches and grass leaves. I could only hear the rustling sound in my ears. The cow blinked because the rain whip gently slapped her body and eyebrows. .
The bull ox has gone away. It is still grazing in the forest. It is still a little thirsty and is sticking out its tongue to suck the grass leaves with more water droplets.
After a while, the owner Hu Qian came to find it. Its rope was broken at some point, and only one wooden rope was still strung on the hole in its nose. Hu Qian searched for the cow in the forest, but couldn't find the rope, so he took a tough ivy in his hand and walked around the cow. It was eating grass and knew that its owner was coming. As he was about to run away, an idea came to his mind. As soon as he raised his head that was soaked by the rain, the alert Hu Qian reached out and grabbed the wooden stick on its nostril. Hu Qian temporarily tied one end of the wooden beam with ivy and led the cow out of the forest.
