Is there such a thing? I do not know how? Qian Jishi didn't believe his ears when he asked this. He stared at the tall man with wide eyes. Several other people accompanying him agreed in unison. "It's true. You still don't believe it?" We can take you down from the mountainside right away to see the abyss-like canyon. The bus is still stuck in it and is motionless. The corpses dragged out from the bus are all bloody, their skin is green, they are all dead, and they have no vital signs.
oh! I'll go take a look. Qian Jishi said, and followed them down the mountain to see the scene of the accident caused by the vehicle.
Along the way, the tall man and several fellow travelers asked each other from time to time, "Monk, weren't you also sitting in the car last night?"
Yes, it was not dark yesterday, so I was sitting in the car. I planned to go to Nalanda Temple to stay overnight and attend the Dharma conference tomorrow. For some unknown reason, I am now sitting on a mountain ridge. If you hadn't woken me up, maybe I would have been there. I haven't woken up yet, and I don't know what happened outside. At the moment, I have also missed something. It seems that I am also delayed when I go to Nalanda Temple to attend the opening ceremony of the Dharma Conference. Qian Jishi looked around while answering.
I saw many people on this mountain, all rushing to the canyon to inspect the scene of the car accident.
Qian Jishi took out the Buddhist chanting machine from the pocket of the monk's robe he was wearing. Apparently, he could still hear the chanting of Buddha's name from the chanting machine at a low volume.
Why do you still listen to Buddha’s name? There were car accidents. The tall man said so.
This monk may have been blessed by the Buddha and Bodhisattva because he chanted the Buddha's name and used the Buddhist chanting machine. As a result, he and so many passengers were sitting in the same car. Other passengers and the driver were all killed, and he was the only one. He survived without any damage. A middle-sized man said this.
That's right, that's right. If the Buddha and Bodhisattva hadn't protected me, I would have become a car accident ghost. When Qian Jishi spoke like this, he raised his head and looked into the mountain canyon where many people gathered.
good! When Qian Jishi recited Amitabha, Amitabha, who "transforms countless billions of Buddhas in the light, and also boundless multitudes of Bodhisattvas", is said to be far away in the land of hundreds of trillions of Buddhas in the west, but is actually right in front of us.
Because Qian Jishi's name was constant, he kept in touch with Amitabha. Amitabha cast a little trick and easily rescued Qian Jishi, who was in extreme danger, from the long-distance bus, and even the metal plastic face welded to the car. The chair, which normally cannot be moved, was actually moved and taken out. It was also placed under Qian Jishi's buttocks, leaving him to sit motionless on an undisturbed mountain ridge until someone pulled him away. I woke up without any shock.
According to legend, when Buddhas and Bodhisattvas give money to save the world, Qian Jishi must be aware of it. Because to rescue a person from a rolling long-distance bus, it takes time and there must be a terrifying noise, but Qian Jishi didn't feel it at all.
This is not because his eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind have lost the ability to perceive, but because the Buddha and Bodhisattva have covered him with auspicious protective devices, temporarily blocking his ability to perceive, leaving his perception in a dormant state, while he The body also got a good rest.
This is equivalent to the time when Xuanzang of the Tang Dynasty was murdered by a black wind monster who took away his cassock and precious clothes on his way to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures. He set fire to the Guanyin Yuan where Tang Xuanzang's master and disciples stayed, in an attempt to burn them to death. However, although Tang Xuanzang was still a mortal body, he could not be burned to death so easily, but he slept well all night.
When I woke up the next day, I found that the entire temple had been burned down by fire overnight, and there were thick smoke and flames everywhere.
Many monks and nuns were burned to death, but Tang Xuanzang was still unaware of it. How did he survive peacefully? Of course, it is Sun Wukong, the great apprentice of You Lao. Sun Wukong invited a divine mask from the Bodhisattva to cover him with the fire-avoiding technique, so that he was not hurt or frightened.
The same is true now when Qian Jishi was saved from a car accident. The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas knew that he was in trouble and protected him in time.
At this moment, Qian Jishi said to the group of people who came to see him as if they were curious, "I felt something was wrong in the car last night, so I turned the chanting machine to high volume and prepared to put it at the driver's place. Unexpectedly, the driver was very angry." I objected and ordered me to turn off the chanting machine. I had no choice but to get out of the way, instead of turning it off completely, I just turned the chanting machine to a low volume. I thought to myself: If the driver had asked me to turn on the chanting machine and chant the chanting chant loudly in the car last night, maybe this car accident could have been avoided.
It's possible, but certainly not certain. A group of people were discussing, but they all looked at Qian Jishi with respectful eyes.
Although he missed the time for the ritual, Qian Jishi still wanted to go to Nalanda Temple, but there was still a long way to go. If you want to walk, you may not be able to reach it even if you walk for a whole day. There was a car accident on this mountain last night. The bad news spread like wildfire. Some timid drivers were mostly scared after hearing about it.
Some drove to the bottom of the mountain and simply turned around and did not pass by here; some got on the road and drove slowly and carefully.
At this moment, the big man and others gathered around Qian Jishi and asked him questions. After asking for a while, they basically knew his itinerary. A fair-faced middle-aged man said: Then I will drive you out of Longhu Mountain! I will send you directly to Nalanda Temple on the other side of the mountain you mentioned. Nalanda Temple is located in Wulong Mountain in Yunfeng County. I can only drive the car to the foot of the mountain. Once there, you can go up the mountain by yourself.
Thank you donor! Amitabha! Qian Jishi put his palms together and saluted.
No thanks! Master, I will take you to the car. The middle-aged man spoke respectfully.
You wait a moment. As Qian Jishi spoke, he was standing on the mountain ridge, still clasping his hands, looking at the canyon of the mountain and the crowd gathered at the scene of the car accident, bowed, and then recited a spell. Someone asked: Master, what are you reciting?
I recited the Rebirth Mantra to pray for the victims of the car accident. I hope that the souls of the victims can receive the blessings of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and be reborn in the Western Paradise.
Perhaps when the world saw Monk Qian Jishi reciting Buddhist mantras to the victims of car accidents, he was just fulfilling his wish, making a show, and expressing a belief. It did not have any substantive effect at all. In fact, it had a great effect.
At the moment, Qian Jishi didn't know. Among the 43 victims, 3 were undead and were thieves from the neighborhood. Although they usually only did some sneaky things, they had been doing such bad things for more than ten years. If they did too much, it would be considered a heinous crime. . One of the thieves named Liu Liu also did something particularly wicked.
One morning in March of that year, Liu Liu walked into the open main room of a family and saw a chicken coop in the corner of the main room door. On the chicken coop was a chicken coop with bamboo baskets. There was a hen in the chicken coop. I didn't know it was a loose egg. Still a hatchling.
Liu Liuji quickly pinched the hen's neck with one hand and strangled it tightly. When it couldn't scream, he just didn't let it scream. In order to take the opportunity to strangle it, he stuffed it into an open shoulder bag he carried. Here, pull up and walk away. There were still people in the back room of the hall, but no one noticed his strange behavior, so he turned around and ran away.
Arriving at a house that had been agreed upon in advance, he met up with two other accomplices who were robbers or thieves. They paste the hen with yellow mud, dug a hole in the fire pit, and buried it. Went in, burned it for a while, and the whole room was filled with the smell of crispy chicken. Needless to say, Liu Liu and the other three thieves shared happily.
