A monk who has achieved the Tao is no longer a monk, but has left the six realms and transcended the three realms to cultivate his true body. And a Bodhisattva who vows to endlessly save all sentient beings in the world and hell.
Wu Lai asked quietly, can I be saved from my sins? Yin Chai said, then you have to ask Bodhisattva. Stop talking and listen carefully to the Bodhisattva's sermons.
When he heard the story of karma and retribution that happened in Jambudvipa in the "Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Sutra" preached, Wu Lai thought of the evil he had done in the Yang world and was particularly afraid of being repaid for many kalpas, so he secretly Give birth to repentance.
Wu Lai, who listened attentively, quietly asked Yin Chai, "Just now the Bodhisattva mentioned Jambudvipa, what was that?" The answer is, I’m not sure either.
As soon as the class was finished, Wu Lai went to ask the Bodhisattva who was taking a break in front of the stage and sipping a sip of tea. The Bodhisattva smiled kindly and spoke in a kind tone: Jambudvipa is the earth where humans and animals live together. There are four major continents in the universe, and Jambudvipa is the name of one of them. In human scientific terms, it is called the earth. Also called Nanzhan Continent, it is located to the south of Mount Xumi. The other three major Continents, surrounding the east, west and north of Mount Sumeru, are called Dongshengshenzhou, Xiniuhezhou and Beijuluzhou respectively.
Wu Lai was very interested and asked about what he heard about the Three Realms from the lecture hall. The Bodhisattva told him that the three realms are divided into the desire realm, the color realm, and the colorless realm. Human beings live in the Desire Realm. The Desire Realm goes up to six heavens and is the Color Realm. After the Color Realm goes up to eighteen heavens, there is the Colorless Realm, which is far away from the filthy earth.
Then the Bodhisattva explained the meaning of the Dharma Realm: All principles, things, and things are collectively called Dharma; the realm is a certain range, also called the Dharma Realm. It can be said that if there is a realm, there is Dharma, and if there is Dharma, there is a realm. Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Pratyekabuddhas , the four holy realms of sound and hearing, the six realms of heaven, humanity, asuras, animals, ghosts, hells, etc., together with the former are called the ten dharma realms.
The Bodhisattva also preached the benefits of being reborn in the Western Paradise. Wu Lai asked, can I go? The Bodhisattva said, of course you can go, but your past karma is very heavy now. You must turn into a human body and make vows to practice. You must not create bad karma, purify your mind, and hold on to the name of the Buddha. Only then can you be reborn in the Western Paradise.
Wu Lai asked again, can I still turn into a human body? The Bodhisattva said, when you were alive, you blasphemed human relations, broke your moral integrity, raped a virgin, and showed no respect for friendship, which caused the virgin to be short-sighted and die in vain. According to the theory of cause and effect, you will be reincarnated as an animal in the next life.
Wu Lai was very frightened and asked the Bodhisattva if he could transform into an animal. The Bodhisattva said, "You should suffer the consequences of your own sins." However, there are distinctions between being a beast and being a noble. For example, pandas are national first-level protected animals and have the same rights to survive as humans. If you can be reincarnated into a panda, you will become a noble among beasts.
Wu Lai asked again, how can one become a noble among animals? The Bodhisattva said, you can ask your dream family to ask your family in Yangshi to reprint and publish the book "Life Treasure Guide" written by Danchixingzhao. If your wish comes true, even if you are reincarnated as an animal, you will become a noble among animals. After that, he can enjoy the rest of his life and be reincarnated again.
That night, Wu Lai asked his wife He Chengzi in a dream to give instructions on how to reprint and distribute the "Book of Life". He Chengzi complied, and after Wu Lai's sentence in hell was over, he was reincarnated into the belly of a female panda in Jambudvipa Wildlife Sanctuary. However, when she was about to give birth, the female panda became ill, and the baby was born as a dead panda cub. .
The ghost went to the Bodhisattva again and cried, saying that the Bodhisattva had lied to it. It asked his wife in the dream to print the "Life Treasure Guide" as the Bodhisattva told him. How could it be reincarnated in the belly of a female panda, but get such a miserable result?
The Bodhisattva smiled and told the panda cub's spirit body not to be agitated, and asked it to look at his outstretched palm. The palm was like a TV screen, and an image appeared on it - a flash flood was about to submerge Wu Lai's family during his lifetime. In his house, there was a stack of printed good books called "A Guide to Life". His wife He Chengzi moved all other belongings away before the flash flood, except for the good book "A Guide to Life". As a result, they were all destroyed. The surging flash floods...
The panda cub's spirit body still doesn't understand the reason. What can it do if there is a flash flood? The Bodhisattva said, your wife can definitely transfer the good books, but she was too scornful and sent them to the flood, just like there were no good books printed. Therefore, you, who should have been reincarnated as a national first-level protected animal, the panda, ended up being pregnant. Died in the womb of mother panda.
Just as he was talking, the Wheel King called the spirit body of the panda cub and put a hedgehog skin on it, and it was reincarnated into a hedgehog.
In a jungle, this thorn screamed from time to time. A big bad wolf found it, got out of the stone, sniffed around the thorn covered with sharp thorns a few times, and kicked it with its foot. It felt painful. , it had to retract its claws.
The big bad wolf was seen shrinking into a ball. The big bad wolf stared with ghastly eyes and opened its mouth wide, revealing two rows of sharp teeth. However, it was not easy to bite and did not dare to bite. Circle, hummed a few times and then gave up.
Later, others, such as badgers and pigs, also wanted to provoke the hedgehog, but when they leaned over it, it still shrank into a ball, and when it tried to bite again, its lips were stung by the hedgehog. However, the hedgehog remained motionless, looking... The posture of using defense as offense was too much for animals such as badgers and pigs, so they had to give up.
That time, the hedgehog was lying on the grass sleeping. A grass god was walking around it. Suddenly, he found a monkey on the big tree staring at the hedgehog. He climbed down from the tree and found a stone on the mountain. He grabbed it in his hand and aimed at the hedgehog, but failed to hit it. The hedgehog crawled warily towards the hole in the grass and then got into it.
The monkey picked up the stone again and tried to kill it to eat its meat, but it disappeared. A grass god standing nearby saw a tree god coming out of the forest, and pointed at the monkey still holding the stone in his hand and said, "Look, monkeys are still smart and know that hunting hedgehogs is easy for them to do it." The sharp thorns on his body stung him, so he picked up a stone and threw it at him. Other animals are stupid enough to bite it directly, often only retreating after the sting hurts its mouth.
The tree god smiled and said, although monkeys are smart, they are still beasts. The Grass God said that most animals are stupid, so why are there smart animals?
The tree god knelt down and explained that when he said that animals are stupid, he said it from a human perspective, because no matter how smart the animals are, they cannot compare to humans. To say that animals are smart is to compare animals with animals. Monkeys are indeed smarter than other animals.
As the tree god spoke, he caressed the monkey who was still waiting by the cave and was unwilling to give up the hedgehog. The monkey looked at the tree god, who was just a shadow, and was not afraid.
At this time, another fat monkey jumped down from the tree, ran up to the monkey holding the stone in his hand, and asked it in monkey language what it wanted to do. It pointed to the cave next to the grass and said that there was a hedgehog inside. I'll wait for a while, and if it crawls out, I'll stone it to death and make a tooth sacrifice with you.
