Hua Xinmin's help rescued Jin Mingfang. Pei Yongzha recovered and was discharged from the hospital and never looked for her again, nor did he pester her. Of course, he was a little cold to Hua Xinmin, so he put an end to the emotional entanglement.
Jin Mingfang was delayed for a long time due to being out of school and refused to go back to Jinshan Middle School. Firstly, she was shy, and her classmates might point fingers and make irresponsible remarks about her behind her back, which would make her embarrassed; secondly, she would be embarrassed if she went to school again. She will definitely not be able to catch up. If she is not good enough, she will be despised by others, which will cause psychological pressure on her.
So Jin Mingfang simply dropped out of school. Since she had a relationship with Hua Xinmin, Huacai arranged for her to learn sewing at a sewing shop in the town.
Two or three years later, Jin Mingfang also mastered the tailoring skills she had learned. Hua Cai planned to open a tailor shop for her in the town, and asked her to bring in some apprentices and take over the business of making clothes to make money. But in his heart, Xiao Jiujiu thought that before taking this step, Jin Mingfang and Hua Xinmin must get married.
Because Hua Xinmin was in love with Jin Mingfang, he did not make much progress in his studies. He naturally failed in the college entrance examination. As a young man who returned to his hometown, he had something to do and became his father's breeding assistant.
On the twentieth day of the twelfth lunar month in the year of graduation, he married Jin Mingfang into his family. He planned to rent a shop in the town for Jin Mingfang to work as a tailor at the beginning of the new year. However, before the first lunar month of the following year was over, Jin Mingfang became pregnant. She was so good that in late March, she gave birth to a fat little baby, a baby boy, to the Hua family. The Hua family happily filled the village to receive guests and drink full-moon wine. That night, something unfortunate happened, and the little baby died of fetal strangulation.
The villagers called the dead baby "crooked" instead of "dead". Hua Cai cried, made a wooden box and put the dead baby's body in it. When he and others carried it to the back mountain for burial, he expressed his resentment towards Jin Mingfang. In other words: If you can't take care of a child well, you are really a loser. He originally wanted to ask Jin Mingfang to open a tailor shop in the town after his grandson was one month old. He had already contacted people about renting a shop, but it was so disappointing that he stopped spending money.
A year later, Jin Mingfang's belly protruded again. When the due date came, Hua Xinmin accompanied her to the town health center for a check-up. The results were shocking.
The doctor said there was something wrong with the fetus in the womb. Jin Mingfang asked nervously, is the problem big? The doctor smiled bitterly and said, "It's hard to say." Hua Xinmin said, just say it, I won’t blame you.
The doctor said without hesitation that this was a symptom of stillbirth. The couple was dubious and suspected that the medical technology of the town health center was not up to standard. They took a bus to a large hospital in the city for a checkup. The results were the same, which dumbfounded the couple.
Jin Mingfang burst into tears at that time. Could she not be sad? The first child was not raised well, and the second child died before he was born. This not only made me feel uncomfortable, but also made my parents-in-law feel resentful.
Without thinking too much, the doctor urged her to take a birth-inducing injection, otherwise it would affect adults. The baby was born soon after the birth-inducing injection, and it turned out to be a dead baby, and a dead boy at that.
Hua Xinmin was so angry that she beat her head. Jin Mingfang couldn't help crying in the hospital. Looking at the dead baby, her heart felt like it was dead. She cried and complained to her husband, Xinmin, you and I can't take care of her, what? Done? Hua Xinmin didn't say anything, but he didn't blame her too much, because who would only wish for such a situation?
His parents didn't think so, and told Xinmin privately that there was something wrong with this woman, so they should simply divorce her and marry her again. Xinmin disagreed. He loved Jin Mingfang deeply. He immediately said that it was not necessarily her problem that she could not raise her well. Maybe I had a problem too. To put it more bluntly, it was also possible that our family had bad luck.
Because of this incident, her mother, Xing Hexiu, originally wanted to punish her daughter-in-law, who was still in confinement. After hearing what her son said, she thought it made sense, so she took better care of Jin Mingfang. For example, she kills a chicken and simmers it in soup every two days to recuperate her body and so on. Huacai is more hard-hearted, avoiding his daughter-in-law and complaining to Xing Hexiu, saying no matter what, she can't raise a child, and even if we want to have a grandchild, we can't.
Xing Hexiu persuaded in a low voice using the words her son had said, can you blame her alone? Maybe it's Xinmin's problem? Maybe it’s because our family has bad luck? After all, she was in confinement and needed to be taken care of. I didn’t buy milked carp, pork belly, soybeans or anything like that to cook for her. I only killed a few chickens.
Fuck you, stop talking, I don’t want to hear it. Huacai was very unhappy and turned his face aside. After calming down, he said to his wife, after Mingfang is one month old, take her to Yuantong Temple in Hutou Mountain in the northwest of the town to find a knowledgeable mage and ask. Mingfang's failure to raise children is ultimately a problem of Mingfang herself, or a problem of Xinmin or our family's bad luck.
Yes! I want to ask the mage, and also ask the mage to do a ritual to deal with this matter. This is related to the issue of whether our Hua family will send out people. Xing Hexiu agreed very much and wished that her daughter-in-law, who was in confinement, would be one month old soon.
That morning, Master Jiwu of Yuantong Temple went out to the Qiuzhuang spring pond six kilometers away to preside over a land and water Dharma ceremony to liberate a middle-aged man who had drowned in the pond a year ago. The chanting practice is completed, and it is already afternoon after having a vegetarian meal at noon.
Several lay people who attended the Dharma conference also wanted to persuade Master Wu to come to the Zhuangqian auditorium to lecture on the Amitabha Sutra. Master Hui Wu was happy to give each lay person a printed copy of the Amitabha Sutra, saying that you should preview it a few times first, and I will give it another day. Let’s talk again.
The accompanying young novice said, Master, just stay and talk to them, and then let them preview the lesson. Master Wu smiled slightly at the little novice monk, then looked at several sincere lay monks, clasped his hands and said:
Amitabha, the poor monk should have stayed to fulfill the wishes of the lay people, but what you don’t know is that a pair of mother-in-law and daughter-in-law came to our Yuantong Temple early in the morning to ask me something. The two of us kowtowed to the Buddha and Bodhisattva for more than 300 times in the Main Hall, praying to the Buddha and Bodhisattva to urge me to return to the temple as soon as possible. They are all still hungry and waiting for me. Lay people, do you think I can not go back?
Several lay people said, since this is the case, we will not force Master to stay. As soon as Master Wu took off his monk's robe, he was about to go on the road. The little novice followed behind, sometimes speeding up the pace and running to the front. He turned around, looked at Master Wu mysteriously and asked, Master, I don't believe it. You haven't returned to the temple. , how do you know someone is waiting for you? It is also said that a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law made more than 300 bows to the Buddha and Bodhisattvas in the Mahavira Hall.
Master Wu Wu casually touched the bald head of the young novice who was approaching and said, "Believe it or not, you will know when you return to the temple." The little novice looked up at Master Jingwu again and asked, how did you achieve this kind of magical power?
