Zhang Daoling is said to be the eighth grandson of Zhang Liang, the founding hero of the Western Han Dynasty.

He was born in Afang Village, Feng County, on the 15th day of the first lunar month of the 10th year of Emperor Jianwu of Han Dynasty. Zhang Daoling's father, Zhang Dashun, was good at the magic of immortals and called himself "Tongbai Zhenren". After giving birth to a son, he named him "Ling". He hoped to follow his ancestors, stay away from the world, and become an immortal by climbing the mausoleum.

Zhang Daoling was extremely intelligent since he was a child, and he could read the Tao Te Ching at the age of seven. When he was a scholar of Taixue, he was well versed in the Five Classics, astronomy, geography, and Heluo prophecies. There were more than a thousand scholars from him.

But he often lamented that the books he read could not solve the problem of life and death, so he abandoned Confucianism and studied the way of immortality.

When Zhang Daoling was 26 years old, he once served as the magistrate of Jiangzhou, but soon resigned and lived in seclusion in Beimang Mountain, Luoyang, where he studied Taoism intensively.

Emperor Zhang of the Han Dynasty and Emperor He of the Han Dynasty successively recruited him to serve as Taifu, Marquis of Jixian County, etc., but they all resigned.

After that, Zhang Daoling began to travel around famous mountains and rivers, visiting Taoism and seeking immortality.

First, he traveled south to the Huaihe River and lived in Tongbai Taiping Mountain. Later, he crossed the Yangtze River with his disciples Wang Chang and Zhao Sheng and went south to Yunjin Mountain in Guixi County, Jiangxi.

Yunjin Mountain has beautiful mountains, clear waters and quiet scenery. It was the habitat of ancient immortals. Zhang Daoling lived in a cottage on the mountain and built an altar to refine elixirs.

Legend has it that three years later, the magic elixir was completed and the dragon and tiger appeared, so the mountain was also called Longhu Mountain. Zhang Daoling was 60 years old at the time. He heard that the folk customs in Shu were pure and easy to educate, so he moved to Heming Mountain in Sichuan.

According to legend, on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month of the first year of Han'an (142), Emperor Shun of the Han Dynasty, Taishang Laojun came to Shu and taught Zhang Daoling "the way of upholding the power of an alliance" and ordered him to eliminate demons and save the people. Zhang Daoling thus founded Taoism, respecting Laozi as the ancestor and taking "Tao" as the highest belief.

In the second year of Yongshou (156), he was promoted to immortality and passed away at the age of 123.

In the seventh year of the Tianbao reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (748), Zhang Daoling was given the title of "Grand Master" because of Laozi. In the fourth year of Zhonghe reign of Emperor Xizong (884), he was named the "Great Master of Three-day Supporting Education".

In the second year of Daguan (1108) of Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty, the book was given as a gift to "Zhengyi Jingying Zhenjun", and Lizong added the title "Great Master of Three Days to Support Education and Fuyuan, Zhengyi Jingying Xianyou Zhenjun".

Yuan Chengzong added the title "Zhengyichongxuan Shenhua Jingying Xianyou Zhenjun". Emperor Chongzhen of the Ming Dynasty added as a gift "Liuhe Infinitely Mighty God".

The Zhengyi sect is known as the Ancestral Heavenly Master, Prime Minister Taixuan, and the Great Sage, the Heavenly Lord who subdues demons and protects the Tao.

Laozi created Taoism, and Zhang Daoling created Taoism.

He is the founder of Taoism.

The reason why Char's destiny-granting requires a template is because directly weaving the destiny requires more energy and time, so it would be simpler to directly apply the template.

However, this does not mean that he must apply the template of film and television works, ancient legends are also acceptable.

"How do you feel now?" Xia Ya said.

Zhang Daoling looked at his hands and said a little confused.

"Is this a body snatching, or is it reincarnation and awakening from the past life?"

After a pause, he continued, "The condition of this body is too bad. The three gates and nine orifices, the eight extraordinary meridians and eight meridians are blocked, the spiritual platform is obscured, the three flowers gather at the top, and the five qi are gone."

The three passes, nine orifices, and the eight extraordinary meridians are all important parts of the small world that make up the human body.

The three passes and nine orifices are narrow places where spiritual energy flows. After opening, the spiritual energy will naturally flow more smoothly, and the amount of spiritual energy that can be used will be larger.

Although magic and aura are essentially the same thing, different civilizations have different cultivation methods.

Thousands of years of wisdom have allowed our ancestors to understand how to better tap into the potential within the body.

Of course, Hogwarts also has ways to tap into potential, such as the meditation classes that are required.

I briefly mentioned Xiaoyuan and Dayuan before.

Dayuan refers to the big source. The source of magic comes from two places. One is the small source, which refers to the magic power contained in the body, and the big source refers to the magic power contained in the world.

In this era, the vast majority of magicians can only use the magic power in their own bodies, and only some powerful magicians, or through some special magic props, can communicate with the magic power of the Great Source.

In the relatively distant Age of Gods, many magicians could use the magic power of the Great Source.

In Taoist theory, there is a description of why this is the case.

Taoism has the theory of nature and nurture.

Innate Qi refers to the original Qi of human beings, also called Yuan Qi and True Qi.

Before a person is born, he has this kind of innate energy in his mother's womb. After a person is born, as soon as the umbilical cord is cut, he breathes air and eats grains, he is contaminated with the filth of the day after tomorrow, and falls from the innate to the day after tomorrow.

The innate can be more conveniently unified with the heaven and the earth and mobilize the magic power of the great source. In the age of gods, there were many innate beings, so they could freely mobilize the great source.

But with the advent of the Age of Ending Dharma, there will be more and more beings born after birth.

Therefore, Taoist practitioners spend their entire lives pursuing a return to their innate nature, that is, not eating grains. This is also the origin of the realm of bigu in Taoism.

And they do have methods, such as refining essence and transforming qi. This essence is the essence of the internal organs, including kidney essence, to refine these essences and transform them into vitality.

The three flowers gathering at the top and the five qi heading towards the yuan is a sign that the refining of qi has been completed.

The three flowers are "jing", "qi" and "spirit". "Five Qi" refers to the heart, liver, spleen, lungs, kidneys, or another name for the five elements, which is metal, wood, water, fire, earth, etc.

When the three flowers gather at the top, it means that when the eight extraordinary meridians are unobstructed, you gradually reach the feeling of forgetting your body. The whole body is as soft and soft as a baby, very comfortable and appropriate, as if you are alive or dead.

At this time, the only thing that still feels is the reaction of the mind. After gradually calming down, the eyes in front of me started to reflect back.

Only the "Nihuan Palace" and "Baihui Point" parts above the head feel like the opening of a skylight or the transmission of sunlight, which suddenly opens up and presents an incomparable sense of coolness. It's like a stream of pure Qi taking advantage of the void, descending and spreading throughout the body.

The scene of "five qi rising to the vitality" is due to the appearance of the "three flowers gathering at the top" mentioned above. Either at the same time, or after taking a break, you suddenly feel that the breathing qi has completely stopped naturally, and the whole body is soft, and it does not depend on the day after tomorrow. Breathing warm and comfortable.

It's the feeling of returning to the mother's womb.

It's just that after a long period of time, I occasionally need to take a very light breath.

After that, the refining of qi to transform into gods, the refining of gods to return to emptiness, and the refining of emptiness to combine with Tao all lead people to gradually return to the innate nature, communicate with the great source, to the unity of heaven and man, until they connect to the source, that is, to connect the "Tao" stage.

They have a more systematic, bottom-up approach. Of course, this approach has a threshold, and not everyone can make it to the end.

In Taoist terminology, there is a concept of "Xing and Ming".

Xing refers to the inner Tao of a person, such as mind, thought, disposition, character, spirit, etc. Fate refers to a person's external Tao, body, life, energy, destiny, matter, etc.

Taoism, on the other hand, pays attention to the dual cultivation of life and life, which means "cultivation of both spirit and form" and comprehensive cultivation of mind and body.

However, both the Western magic system and Buddhism actually only cultivate "nature", which is spiritual power.

These are actually ways to get to the root.

But it is undeniable that if you want to gain something, you have to give up something. The dual cultivation of life and life is also the most difficult.

"You can think of it as reincarnation." Xia Ya said.

"Confirmation?" Zhang Daoling was keenly aware of the key.

Xia Ya's eyelids narrowed slightly, "You are very smart."

After a pause, he continued, "I made you reborn in this era again. Now, more than 1,600 years have passed since your passing."

"More than 1,600 years ago..." Zhang Daoling murmured softly.

He looked around, looking at the elegant and unique buildings. The red lanterns lit up the dim area, giving the place a mysterious atmosphere.

Zhang Daoling is certain that even the palaces of his dynasty at that time may not be as exquisite as this architectural complex.

However, the most eye-catching thing is the vast ocean outside the barrier above, with countless shimmering fish swimming past, as if they are in a psychedelic different time and space.

"Where is this?" he asked.

"The East China Sea is the location of the Ancient Dragon Palace, but I named it now."

Xia Ya raised his hand, and a stone slab appeared on the side of the real dragon's remains, with several large characters automatically appearing on the slab.

【Jixia Academy】

This name was once the earliest government-run institution of higher learning in the world, which was founded during the Tianwu period of Duke Huan of Qi. It is located near Zijimen, the capital of Qi State.

"Ji" is the name of a gate in Linzi City, the capital of Qi State. "Jixia" is near Jimen in Linzi City, the capital of Qi. The monarch of Qi set up a school here. Therefore, because the academy is located near Jimen, it is named "Jixia Academy"

The rare and spectacular "Content of a Hundred Schools of Thought" in the history of academic thought in China was centered on the Jixia Academy of Qi State.

Zhang Daoling naturally knows the origin and allusion of this name.

"This is an era of the end of the Dharma." Xia Ya said calmly, "The spiritual energy is exhausted, the gods and Buddhas disappear from the world, all dharma is extinct, and civilization breaks away from the gods and Buddhas and moves towards the "Tao" that belongs to human beings."

"This is not a bad thing, but in the visible future, an unknown catastrophe will befall the world, and the world and civilization will be in ruins."

Hearing the sound, Zhang Daoling immediately pinched his fingers and began to calculate the secrets, and then he mumbled absentmindedly.

"The dark secrets of heaven are indeed a sign of great catastrophe."

"So, is this why you summoned my soul from the underworld?"

"I hope you won't blame me for making my own decision." Xia Ya said.

"Suppressing demons and killing demons, saving the world and saving people is our purpose." Zhang Daoling said righteously, "What's more, this is a catastrophe involving the entire human world.

As a pioneer of the human race, we must have the obligation to safeguard humanity.

What do you need from me? "

Xia Ya walked slowly to the stone tablet, put it on the stone tablet and said.

"Thousands of years ago, Jixia Academy was a place where hundreds of schools of thought contended. It was the most brilliant era in China, when the stars were twinkling.

This will be the case here in the future.

If you want to fight against the disaster that threatens the world, you need to gather the wisdom of civilization.

Regardless of whether it is Buddhism, Taoism or any other power, the wisdom that appears on the land of China but has declined will be revived here.

You will also be a member of this academy.

Not for preaching, just for preaching and imparting knowledge, so that a hundred schools of thought can contend."

Xia looked at Alicia, "And she will be the sacrificial wine (the academy director) of this academy." (End of Chapter)
