Liangchen was stunned when he saw this. He didn't know why the old monk wanted to punish him, let alone what the power of this silent remark was.
The thin monk next to him seemed to have already guessed the result, and he slowly sat on the futon without any expression.
"Master, the person you are looking for has been brought." The thin monk reported in a low voice, not paying any attention to the fat monk who was beside him in pain.
"Yes." The old monk nodded and opened his eyes.
He glanced at the thin monk with a pleased expression, then at Liangchen, and finally landed on the fat monk.
"What's the point of crying?"
"Do you think three years is too little?"
Upon hearing this, the fat monk's crying stopped abruptly!
Then he put on a flattering smile and looked at the master with tears in his eyes and a sense of grievance, as if he wanted to ask for mercy, but he didn't dare to say anything because the master had just said the meditation.
"You are not stupid. You know how to wash the monk's clothes before you come back!" The old monk looked at his clean monk's clothes and praised with a smile.
When the fat monk heard this, he immediately swallowed his plea, lowered his head and said nothing.
"You should be tired too. Go and take a rest. The donor and I have something to say." The old monk said,
The thin monk nodded when he heard the sound and walked towards the meditation room. The fat monk also hurriedly left as if he had been granted amnesty.
Seeing that there were only two people left in the small hall, the old monk stared at Liangchen up and down for a long time, and finally let out a long sigh.
"Alas~~ The soul is missing, the Nascent Soul is faking death, and the star master's destiny is like this. Amitabha! How good! How good!"
"The soul is missing? What is the Star Master?" Liangchen asked quickly when he heard the sound, but his heart sank. The old monk could tell immediately that something was wrong with his Yuanying, so the lack of soul was definitely not a good thing!
"Amitabha, why did the donor come? Where is he going?" The old monk asked instead without answering.
"This...I don't know either." Hearing this question, Liangchen was immediately confused and muttered in his heart. You, an old monk, sent two disciples to find you all the way, and then invited you to Basket Temple. Why did you ask me why I came here instead? It’s so baffling!
"I have been wandering all my life, but I don't know where I'm going." The old monk shook his head after hearing his answer, with a hint of doubt appearing between his eyebrows.
After a while, he closed his eyes, fiddled with the beads, and started chanting.
When Liangchen saw this, he felt a little speechless. This old monk seemed kind, but his personality was so weird that it was really hard to figure out.
So he didn't know what to say, so he could only remain silent.
For a moment, the only sound left in the hall was the old monk's chanting.
"Amitabha, I have been thinking about it over and over again, and I am no different from you. I understand cause and effect, explore reincarnation, and understand destiny, but I still don't know where the end is." Suddenly the old monk said something out of nowhere again.
"Amitabha, I will take you to visit Lanruo Temple." The old monk got up and walked directly upstairs without waiting for Liangchen's response.
"Creak-" The wooden stairs creaked, as if they would fall apart at any time, and for some reason they were not repaired.
Liangchen grabbed the handrail and followed slowly. He felt that the wooden handrail was as smooth as jade and could be discerned. It seemed that countless people had touched the stair handrail before, and he couldn't help but be surprised in secret.
When he reached the second floor, Liangchen felt that his field of vision was slightly wider, but his expression became even stranger.
I saw that the whole floor of the house was opened up on the second floor, making the space much larger. The beams, columns, doors, windows, and wooden boards of the entire room were all covered with various criss-crossing lines. If you didn’t look carefully, you would almost think they were wood. Pattern.
There was only one altar table in the empty room. The table was not an ordinary wood, but actually made of colored glass.
There was neither Buddha nor Arhat on the table. Instead, there was a huge white jade ball. The jade ball was about half a person's height. It was dotted with small holes of various shapes. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be hollow, with a slightly smaller ball inside. The balls are so big and small balls are placed layer by layer, there are as many as nine layers!
The surface of each jade ball is covered with dense light spots of different sizes. If you observe carefully, those light spots seem to be moving slowly according to a specific pattern.
A silver bead the size of a bean is placed at the center of the ball, emitting a faint halo.
"Is this a mechanism or some kind of magic weapon?" Liangchen looked at this strange jade ball, and his doubts became more intense!
A small temple does not worship Bodhisattvas or Buddhas. It is a bit disrespectful to use an entire floor for such a strange thing, while only using one room for the Buddhist hall on the first floor!
As if sensing Liangchen's doubtful gaze, the old monk walked up to the jade ball, muttered something in his mouth, slightly bent his fingers to form a mudra, and then flicked towards the center of the jade ball!
A series of extremely thin and weak rays of light passed through the jade ball and hit the silver pill in the center!
"Bang!" The silver pill seemed to be ignited, and a strange silver-white flame rose instantly!
The silver flames swirled, entangled and spread, covering the entire jade ball in just one breath.
The next moment, the silver flames converged and quickly retreated into the silver pill like a tide. Suddenly, a bean-like fire appeared in the center of the jade ball.
The jade ball was illuminated by the silver flames, and seemed to suddenly come to life. Rays of light spread rapidly like running water. As the light passed by, the jade ball instantly became exquisite and translucent.
At the same time, the nine spheres began to rotate slowly in different directions, and the densely packed small light spots on them also began to flicker like silver sand. The next moment, on the beams, wooden pillars, and door panels around the room, A little light particle suddenly appeared on the room. There were so many light particles that it was like billions of galaxies that instantly enveloped the entire room!
As soon as those light particles appeared, they began to move. Liangchen sensed for a moment that the tracks of those light particles actually followed the lines carved on the wooden walls of the roof.
Liangchen stared at those tiny light particles and wanted to observe them carefully. Suddenly, the billions of light particles seemed to form a boundless galaxy and rushed toward him!
He felt dizzy in his mind and quickly closed his eyes, finally feeling better.
At this moment, the old monk's leisurely singing came from the side:
Heaven's way is good for reincarnation,
Cause and effect continue.
The battles turn and the stars move,
All have certain Qi numbers.
Where are you from
Where to go?
I came from heaven,
Go to the human world.
Where did it come from?
Where to go?
I came from a dream,
Go into your heart.
Where do the three questions come from?
Where to go?
I'm coming from tomorrow,
Until yesterday.
Final question?
What do you want?
I'm here to break the universe,
I'll change my destiny!
