The man in black was taken away, and the old monk clasped his hands together to express his gratitude to Zhu Yu and Ran Jie:

"Thank you for coming out to help. Okay, it's okay now. Let's all rest. I'm tired."

After saying that, he ignored Zhu Yu and the others and walked back to the meditation room.

Zhu Yu and Ran Jie glanced at Wang Wei. Wang Wei understood and walked forward first.

It was still a little dark here at night. Although she wasn't very scared, it was different having someone to protect her.

The three people entered the room separately.

Ran Jie wanted to say something, but Zhu Yu made a quiet gesture.

Ran Jie was silent, and Zhu Yu pointed to the next door.

On the left is the old monk Hongzhan’s kitchen, and on the right is Wang Wei’s room.

Zhu Yu's ears were sharper than ordinary people's, and he soon heard the old monk's long breathing, and he fell asleep.

However, Zhu Yu didn't think that the old monk would fall asleep. The noise outside was not very loud just now. After all, the meditation room was still some distance away from the main hall.

But just then, the old monk heard it. How good are those ears?

Either the old monk was not sleeping well, or the old monk was alert.

No matter what happens, it will have an impact on Zhu Yu's actions at night.

On the other hand, Wang Wei next to her took half an hour before her breathing became calmer, and she must have fallen into a deep sleep.

Ran Jie also heard about it, and then asked Zhu Yu quietly:

"Boss, what should I do?"

"I have to use the second method. Get some spices for the two of us, and then let's keep our voices down. It's best to get it done tonight."

The two people quietly walked out of the door. Zhu Yu took out two bottles of compressed gas, giving one to Ran Jie and keeping the other for himself.

He came to the old monk's window.

The old monk's window had a crack and a screen, which made it easier for Zhu Yu to move around.

He gently pressed the compressed gas bottle and slowly sprayed a stream of anesthetic gas into the old monk's room.

After spraying a few more times, he heard the old monk's breathing gradually become normal - mainly because the old monk's breathing was too long before.

An ordinary person breathes approximately seventeen or eight times a minute, and the old monk only breathes less than half!

Zhu Yu counted now and found that the old monk's breathing was almost fifteen times, which should be normal.

I bet the old monk was practicing Kung Fu earlier!

I don’t know if I am learning the guidance method or inner breath or something like that.

It is said that the Tiantai Sect is highly respected in the Japanese country, and the Tiantai Zhiguan method is still very famous.

I don’t know if this is what the old monk practiced.

After reaching the goal, Zhu Yu put away the compression bottle and turned to look at Ran Jie.

Ran Jie had already collected the bottle and was waiting for him on the road.

The two of them walked quietly towards the main hall without saying anything.

Arriving at the main hall, Zhu Yu glanced at the bull-headed god and suddenly smiled.

"Boss, why are you laughing?" Ran Jie dared to speak now.

"Do you know why this Minotaur God sometimes has miraculous effects?"

"I don't know." What he said during the day was just to deceive the old monk, and Ran Jie knew he couldn't take it seriously.

"There is a treasure hidden in this statue of the Minotaur. That thing has been enshrined for a long time, so it should be somewhat spiritual."

While he was talking, Zhu Yu had already jumped onto the statue's platform, then walked around behind the Minotaur God and tapped lightly on the statue.

Then, he took out a small knife and pried it up gently.

Ran Jie was already immune to Zhu Yu's almost demonic observation ability and was no longer surprised.

He came to Zhu Yu's side and planned to help.

Both of them have very good eyesight, and there is still weak candlelight in the hall, so there is no need to use a flashlight.

Zhu Yu pried for about seven or eight minutes, and slowly pried open a wooden board behind the statue, revealing a space inside the statue.

"Oh, it really does!"

Ran Jie looked at the thing in the hole and opened his mouth wide.

"How about it? Does it smell good?" Zhu Yu handed him the wooden board that he had pried off, "The things inside are extraordinary!"

"I've heard that Buddha statues hide things in their stomachs before, but I didn't expect that this Japanese statue also has something hidden in its stomach."

He sighed, and then asked Zhu Yu:

"Boss, how did you find out?"

"I can smell it." Zhu Yu had already reached out and grabbed the items inside, and said while taking them out: "When I entered the hall, I smelled everything except incense and candles."

"Then why didn't I feel it?" Ran Jie was a little unconvinced.

"That's because you haven't researched those spices." Zhu Yu said with a smile, "I'm different. When I was treasure hunting in containers before, I found spices. I have researched them."

At this time, he had already taken out the contents of the belly of the bull-headed statue. It was a very exquisite Guanyin Buddha statue about 20 centimeters high.

Carved from black Qinan agarwood, which is worth far more than gold on the market!

This Buddha statue is quite big, weighing in at least nearly one kilogram!

This is amazing!

It is not entirely correct to say that Qinan is agarwood.

Hei Qinan is the essence of agarwood. In a large piece of agarwood, only a very small part is called Hei Qinan!

On the surface, this looks like rotten wood, but in fact, its medicinal value and aromatic value are very high.

In the "Ben Jing" of the Han Dynasty, there is a record: "Wind poison and edema will be fanned by fire and emit various poisons. Agarwood has the aura of thunder, so it can detoxify it. The pungent fragrance enters the spleen and dries away dampness, and edema can be cured by itself. Eliminate it." From this point of view, in addition to its extremely high collection value, Agarwood Qinan is also a precious Chinese medicinal material.

The Japanese quick-acting Jiuxin Pill was originally mixed with qinan. Later, because the scarcity of Qinan caused the cost to be too high, it was replaced with other medicinal materials.

"Boss, what is this? It smells really good." Ran Jie asked curiously as he looked at the Buddha statue in Zhu Yu's hand.

"Qinan, the finest agarwood." Zhu Yu explained, "But this thing is much scarcer than ordinary agarwood."

"Is agarwood scarce?" Ran Jie asked with some confusion, "There are a lot of agarwood on the market, and they are not expensive..."

"Then you have been deceived." Because the old monk and Wang Wei were both anesthetized, Zhu Yu was not in a hurry and started educating Ran Jie:

"Most of the products on the market that are named agarwood are agarwood, but they are not actually agarwood in the true sense. That stuff is easy to find - for example, it is just like ordinary jujube and thunder strike jujube. , a truth.”

"So that's it!" Ran Jie suddenly realized.

“Moreover, this is not just agarwood, the black Qinan in agarwood is much scarcer than ordinary agarwood!

This stuff was regarded as a "royal" fragrance by the royal family in ancient times. It has been recorded that the emperor's dragon bed must have three spices, one of which is Qinan.

Moreover, the emperor especially liked to burn Qinan and use its aroma to "refresh himself" when reviewing memorials and going to court. The status of agarwood has been unshakable from ancient times to the present.

Later, due to the preciousness of Agarwood Qinan, it was excessively cut down and collected by corrupt officials. Agarwood resources gradually depleted, and it became an extremely precious "luxury product" after the Song Dynasty.

Even in the extravagant Qing Dynasty, the royal family began to use agarwood in a "limited amount". In addition to offering sacrifices, even the emperor had to "use it sparingly" and receive it on a monthly basis.

This shows the preciousness of agarwood. As time goes by, the agarwood Qinan on the market is almost extinct. "

When Zhu Yu said this, Ran Jie understood immediately.

Although the Buddha statue in Zhu Yu's hand looks like rotten wood, it is very precious!

"Boss, how much is this thing worth?" Ran Jie is a proletarian warrior armed with the old Marxist-Leninist ideology, but he doesn't believe in those gods and Buddhas.

Zhu Yu weighed the Buddha statue and said:

"According to records, ten years ago, a 160-gram piece of Qinan was auctioned for 27 million! This piece is five or six times heavier than that piece. Think about it..."

"I'll go, isn't it worth hundreds of millions?" Ran Jie really didn't expect this thing to be so expensive!

"Things that are rare are valuable!" Zhu Yu smiled, hid the Buddha statue in his arms, and continued:

"Okay, let's continue. This time we have a big harvest!"

As he spoke, he continued to reach into the hole.

This time, another Arhat statue was found.

This Arhat statue is about the size of a walnut, but not as big as before.

But the advantage lies in the quantity. I didn’t stop touching them once, and I found eighteen of them!

Good guy!

Put Guanyin and the Eighteen Arhats together, what do these guys want to do?

He dug deeper and pulled out a small gold box.

The gold box is about the size of a fist and looks very delicate. There is nothing visible inside.

Zhu Yu didn't open it and put it directly into his pocket.

If you touch it again, there will be nothing inside.

He jumped down holding these things, while Ran Jie went up with the board and put the board back.

After pretending that there were no flaws, Ran Jie came down and asked:

"Boss, what should we do if there is no smell after we empty out the food?"

"Whatever." Zhu Yu put the things into the bag he had prepared in advance - in fact, he had already put them into the space. He put the bag on his back and said, "The things were definitely snatched from our country. I didn't ask them to compensate." You're welcome."

With that said, he took Ran Jie to the East Side Hall.

The bespectacled man had been trying to open the east side palace door for a long time. Now Zhu Yu took a closer look. After understanding the structure of the lock, he took out two wire grinding tools from his bag and pointed it at the lock. He kept prying and prodding, and after a while, the lock was opened.

After opening the lock, Zhu Yu and Ran Jie slowly opened the palace door together.

The heavy wooden door made a creaking sound. Fortunately, Zhu Yu and Ran Jie were prepared. They took out lubricating oil, dripped some on the door shaft, and slowly moved it back and forth twice. When they opened it again, the sound was gone. there is none left.

When the palace door opened, a rotten smell came out from inside.

The side hall is not big. Compared with the magnificent main hall, it is more like a side room.

There are no gods or Buddhas enshrined inside, but there are some shelves with some books on them.

Zhu Yu could tell that these books had undergone certain protection measures. For example, use some herbal sachets to keep away insects.

The humidity in the room is pretty good, and some lime is placed around it to absorb moisture.

However, such crude protection measures are not very good at protecting the ancient books on the shelf.

"Slowly put away the books here and put them in bags..."

"So many..." Ran Jie was a little embarrassed.

"Look at the name, I picked up the outfit." Zhu Yu said, "I still want to go there."

Ran Jie also knew that he couldn't rely on his boss for everything, so he reluctantly made the choice.

Not only do you need to choose these items carefully, but you also need to be careful when installing them.

On this trip, they brought some sealed bags with them, hoping to take away these ancient books safely.

Zhu Yu came to the west side hall. After he opened the door in the same way, he found that there were not only ancient books but also some paintings and calligraphy on the shelves.

The calligraphy and painting were all rolled up and put together.

Zhu Yu didn't even look at it, and directly collected all the ancient books here into the space, including the calligraphy and paintings.

Then he walked to the wall facing the gate of the side hall.

There is a picture of fishing for snow on the Hanjiang River hanging on the wall, which almost blocks half of the wall.

Zhu Yu carefully took off the painting, rolled it up and put it in his bag, and then began to study the wall.

Of course, this wall is not from ancient times, nor was it moved from China, but there is something else going on behind the wall.

The reason why Zhu Yu opened the east palace door first was to let Zhu Yu stay there, otherwise it would be difficult for him to explain.

After studying for a while, I found the door open in the corner of the wall. I twisted a slightly protruding wall tile in the corner, and the wall slowly moved, revealing a hole for one person to enter and exit.

Zhu Yu smelled the complex smell coming out of the hole, and after waiting for a while, he got in.

The space inside the hole was not very big, but what was inside surprised Zhu Yu!

Inside is a long space one and a half meters wide and as long as the side hall.

It should be the darkroom that was reserved when the side hall was built.

On the left side of the dark room, there are various porcelains densely arranged.

Zhu Yu picked one up at random and looked at the bottom of it. It was "Made in the Yongzheng Year of the Qing Dynasty". It was a blue and white plum vase, elegant and generous, with the style of the Yongzheng Dynasty.

A rare product found in official kilns!

Put this one away and take out another one, "Ming Dynasty Chenghua Year System", fighting color bowl.

Good stuff, collected.

After collecting these porcelains one by one, Zhu Yu counted and found that there were thirty-four pieces.

At the back are pieces of jade, placed on an exquisite wooden shelf.

From ancient clear-colored jade congs to modern almost transparent jade bowls, there are more than twenty exquisite products!

It seems that Tanaka has really been searching for good things in China!

Further inside, Zhu Yu was startled by a large object!

Is this too exaggerated to be able to get this thing back?

This is something that is almost 1.5 meters in size, small in size, but still shocking enough: a gold-lined jade garment!

What surprised Zhu Yu was that the gold jade garment was placed standing up.

If it weren't for Zhu Yu's good eyesight, he would definitely be shocked!

Judging from the clear color of the jade, it must have come from the tomb, but where exactly it came from is impossible to know.

Knowing that now was not the time for research, Zhu Yu put this thing away.

That's all there is to the left.

Zhu Yu originally thought that the things in the Minotaur God's stomach were enough to shock him.

I didn’t expect the things in this darkroom to be scary!

Then there's the right side.

Directly to the right of the cave entrance is a bronze vessel, a bronze tripod about forty centimeters high.

It has not been cleaned, so the rust on it is very obvious. Some words are covered by rust. Zhu Yu's eyes can see it, but the specific meaning needs to be studied.

He just roughly counted, there were almost twenty words.

Not simple anymore!

After putting the tripod away, a pair of bronze knights behind it were also put away, and then there was a very sharp bronze sword with an inscription.

Zhu Yu was already a little numb with these things, so he didn't take a closer look. After putting them away, he saw two Tang Sancai.

Zhu Yu was a little hesitant, this thing is for tombstones - forget it, just keep it. The size is also a treasure.

Then there was also a shelf with small gold and silverware on it.

Gold Ruyi, gold belt hook, gold hairpin, gold and silver beat money and so on.

Zhu Yu simply put away the shelves together, and then saw the things placed inside.

It was a shelf with three knives on it.

The Japanese samurai swords are of different lengths.

Zhu Yu only roughly knew that there were tachi and ribs, but he didn't know how to distinguish them.

Haven't studied it.

Zhu Yu took off a sword, pulled it out and took a look. He found that the sword was engraved with the royal family emblem "Sixteen petals and eight layers of chrysanthemum", and the eyes were also embossed with a triple chrysanthemum pattern.

The sword is a metal part installed at the contact area between the blade and the sword. Its main function is to prevent the blade from slipping out of the scabbard, causing inconvenience.

The carving pattern on this knife was not something that could be done casually. Zhu Yu immediately understood that this thing was most likely a sword gifted by the Emperor!

Received!

After putting this thing away together with the knife holder, Zhu Yu saw that there was basically nothing in it, so he glanced at it again, and was about to leave, but turned back!

That glance made him feel that the piece of cloth thrown in the corner of the darkroom looked a bit extraordinary.

He bent down and picked up the ball of "cloth", shook it open slightly, and found that there were words woven on it!

And the writing on it was in yellow and in Tibetan, and he couldn't understand it.

Although Zhu Yu couldn't understand this, he knew about another famous similar thing!

Dhara quilt!

At that time, the Eastern Tomb of the Qing Dynasty was stolen, and all the treasures in Emperor Qianlong's underground palace were stolen. The tomb robbers rushed for the gold and silver treasures, and the Dura Sutra on his body was thrown away like garbage.

But who would have thought that when this thing appeared at auction in 2008, it was sold for 65 million!

Two years later, the price doubled to 130 million!

Why does the royal family attach so much importance to this thing?

Of course there is a reason!

"Dharani Quilt" is also called "Pursuant Quilt", also known as "Dharani Quilt". It contains a variety of mantras and mantras of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas written in Sanskrit (or Tibetan) as well as the merit names of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and Vajra Warriors. No., this sutra was used by decree in the Qing Dynasty. No one could use it without the emperor's decree.

Buddhism believes that it has incredible power of majesty and blessing. Regardless of men or women, covering their body with this quilt at the end of their life can make the deceased's sins and blessings disappear, avoid all enemies and demons in the past, and make the deceased feel happy physically and mentally. Amitabha Buddha Be led to be reborn in the Western Paradise.

The Dharani can be used in the past life by any person, regardless of whether it is a religious believer, a man, a woman, a child, or a non-believer. It can be used before death. Even those who did not believe in religion during their lifetime, slandered the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha), have no cause and effect, and have little blessings and few virtues. It can also be used to eliminate sinful karma and form a bond with the Three Jewels. According to popular legend, when the deceased is taken to the underworld wearing the Dharani Sutra, the King of Hell must stand up and show respect.

Zhu Yu thought of this and simply put this thing away.

No matter who used it, it couldn’t be something belonging to the Japanese devils!
