"Is that a person?" Doug took out his pistol and pointed it at the black figure.

The figure opened its eyes, the white pupils glowing in the darkness, with red mesh-like threads spreading on them.

"Back off..." Revery frowned, leaned forward with the lantern, and tightened his grip on the waist knife with his other hand, "This guy... is very strong."

"Really?" Doug moved his wrist. The prosthetic leg Henry brought was not a custom-made one. He was a little uncomfortable with it. "Beowulf, I'll leave it to you."

The black crystal squeezed out the prosthetic limb and formed a new limb. A faint mist lingered around him, like water flowing.

The figure's eyes were immediately attracted to Beowulf, and the red threads in the white pupils began to spread to the whole body, and glowed faintly.

He stood up, and a thick layer of caked dust fell from him, making a dull sound on the ground.

Lavery did not step back and watched him walk into the light of the lantern. He did not dissipate, indicating that this was not an illusion, but a "person" that existed easily.

Lysa slowly retreated to the back and carefully looked at this guy who had been kneeling here for who knows how many years.

His whole body was iron-grey and extremely smooth, as if covered with a layer of crystals, covered with red mesh lines, with red light flowing through them, like blood.

There was only a pair of white eyes on his face, and the red lines started from there and spread to the whole body.

"Please - you - get out -" A dry voice came out from nowhere, as if someone was scratching the blackboard with nails, giving the three of them goosebumps.

Lavery ignored him and asked, "Who are you?"

"who I am?"

Lysa raised her eyebrows, she saw confusion in this guy's eyes.

The strange guy was shut down by Ravery's words and stood there in silence. Lysa took this opportunity to rush in from the side and looked left and right in the prayer room.

Beowulf and Lavery both saw her, and their eyes twitched unconsciously.

"I am--"

Beowulf frowned, this guy seemed to be in confusion just like when he just regained consciousness in the ice.

"Please - you - go out -" the guy gave up thinking and repeated the order.

"He seems to have no soul." Lavery frowned and whispered to Beowulf, taking a few steps back as he spoke.

Lesa looked back and began to seize the time to look through everything in the prayer room.

As Austin said at the beginning, there was an offering table with a statue of Poseidon and a scroll on it. Lysa did not open it immediately, but looked at the statue.

In Austin's fantasy, the prayer room can lead to Poseidon's divine realm and meet Poseidon himself. Lysa gritted her teeth. She had to confirm Poseidon's current situation with her own eyes.

So under Beowulf's shocked gaze, she took a deep breath, knelt in front of the statue and began to pray.

"Damn it!" Beowulf took a step forward and wanted to enter the prayer room to wake Lysa, but Revery grabbed his ankle.

"What's wrong with you? It will be in danger if she enters the illusion!"

"She certainly has her reasons for doing this."

"Fuck, I'm really fed up with this bitch!" Austin cursed from God's perspective.

"Please get out!" The monster that had been ignored suddenly burst out and punched Beowulf in the abdomen. The powerful force knocked him directly out of the prayer room and into the opposite wall.

Ravery raised his eyebrows and held the sword across his chest. He barely blocked the punch that was thrown at him, but his body still retreated into the corridor.

"Why did it suddenly go crazy!"

The red light on the monster no longer flows, they have condensed into a stable vein, in which energy flows, awakening its fighting instinct hidden deep in its memory.

The whole body was shot out like a cannonball, and the legs were brought together to kick Beowulf hard in the chest. The latter was embedded in the wall as soon as he came out of it.

But this time he was well prepared. The black mist wrapped around the monster's waist like a ribbon, instantly pulling Beowulf out of the wall. The crystals on his left arm condensed into spikes, and with the help of the black mist's pull, it accurately penetrated the monster. chest.

But this guy seemed to be fine, holding the crystal spikes with his iron-like palms, carrying Beowulf and smashing it towards Ravely who was rushing up.

The crystal spike exploded into a cloud of mist. Beowulf used his strength on the wall of the corridor and rushed towards the monster with his newly generated blade. The blade broke through the exploded mist and slashed at the monster's neck. He clearly cut off its head and neck with a single blow. It was broken, but the monster still acted like a normal person, and smashed Beowulf to the ground with a simple left hook.

Then the dust rose up, and Lavery raised his sword from bottom to top with both hands, leaving a deep knife mark on the monster's body, and black mist flowed from it.

Beowulf, who had just raised his head, shrank his pupils and subconsciously shouted: "Beowulf!"

The monster stopped kicking at Ravely, and a look of confusion flashed in his eyes: "Beowulf—my—name?"

Regardless of what was going on, Revery took the opportunity to send the blade into the monster's chest.

The wound left by the blade expanded rapidly, growing into a small black hole in Revery's shocked eyes.

Beowulf felt a suction force coming from the black hole, and turned his head to glance at Ravely, but he was not affected at all.

"It can't be wrong..." Beowulf murmured.

[What's wrong? Is this guy related to you? ] Doug was a little confused.

[This is probably his physical body. 〕Austin reacted quickly.

"You are Beowulf!" Beowulf shouted, climbed up and knocked away Lavery, holding the monster's head with both hands, staring at the white pupils, "Your name is Beowulf! Although I don't know Why are you here, but you can’t be wrong as Beowulf!”

The attraction of the black hole intensifies, and Austin and Doug feel as if something is draining from their bodies.

The crystals on his left arm and left leg were shattering inch by inch, and black mist rose from Beowulf's body and poured into the monster's body.

Beowulf is returning to his body!

Doug and Austin could only watch helplessly. The control of this body now belongs to Beowulf. This is the stipulation of the divine blood contract and they cannot snatch it away.

Revery stood up with difficulty and looked at everything in front of him in disbelief. He could probably see that there were other souls living in Austin. At this time, that soul should have reacted with the monster here.

He did not step forward to intervene, but sat down on the spot, took out a short knife from his backpack, and held it tightly in his hand.

If something goes wrong, this knife blessed by the gods can cut it off!
