Li Shanchang, again Li Shanchang. When Gao pragmatic was awarded the title of Marquis of Nanning, it was "like Li Shanchang's story", but he could not have imagined that less than ten years later, he would actually have something close to Li Shanchang.

But having said that, Zhu Yijun still understood that the Grand Master could not give him the title at the moment. Otherwise, Gao Jingshi would be granted the title of Grand Master before he was forty years old. It would be better to give him the title of Grand Duke now. At least the Grand Duke of the Ming Dynasty was more than eight years old. What about them - leaving aside the rest, there are only six Dukes of the founding of the country and eight Dukes of Jingnan, so there are fourteen.

The Grand Master could not be given, the Duke could not be promoted, and the Taibao was not suitable. After much deliberation, Zhu Yijun had to focus on the Taifu. Although there were also very few Taifus in the Ming Dynasty, Taifus were not as sensitive as Taishis after all. Under the current circumstances, only Taifus were a suitable reward for meritorious service.

So early the next morning, two more edicts were issued. The first edict was naturally a reward for merit after the great victory over Japan. Starting from Wang Jiaping, the chief minister of the cabinet, all six ministers in the cabinet were rewarded.

However, the rest of the people are basically just foils. Only Gao Pangshi, the minister of strategic planning who personally led the army on the expedition, can get the highest reward, so this time he "specially entered the Zuozhu Kingdom and became the Taifu and still held the same position as before", and From now on, his full official title will be "Taijin Zuozhuguo Taifu and Wenhuadian University Scholar Hubu Shangshu Nanning Hou Gao pragmatic".

In addition to the cabinet, central government offices such as the Ministry of War and the Ministry of Household Affairs, the governor of Jiliao, the governor of Liaodong, and civil officials from Tianjin and other places, as well as generals at all levels who went to Korea to conquer Korea, also received rewards one by one. Since the list is too long, I will not mention it here.

The second edict is about appointments and re-appointments. This edict is also very long. I will only mention a few important ones. For example, Zhang Zuozhi, whom Gao Jingzhi valued when he was in Tianjin, was promoted from a mere soldier to the governor of North Korea and became the second-ranking figure among North Korean officials in the imperial court.

Since there is a number two figure, there is naturally a number one figure. The only local official who was higher than the governor was obviously the governor--the first North Korean governor was no outsider, but Gu Yangqian, a disciple of Gao Gong and the previous governor of Liaodong.

There are governors and governors, and the general army is obviously indispensable. The first North Korean commander-in-chief was recommended by Gao Pragmatic, and he was also an old acquaintance - Qi Jin.

Qi Jin's appointment as the chief military officer of North Korea was actually an exceptional promotion, because his previous position was actually the Shenyang guerrilla general. This time he was directly appointed as the chief military officer, skipping the rank of general. To a certain extent, in addition to his own military exploits and highly pragmatic recommendations, this appointment also had Qi Jiguang's face factor.

Zhu Yijun and Gao Pangshi had already discussed that when Ma Gui returned from North Korea, he would replace Qi Jiguang in commanding the Imperial Guards. After Qi Jiguang resigned as the commander of the Imperial Guards, he would be able to better perform his duties as the dean of the Ming Dynasty Royal Military Academy. After bidding farewell to the busy leadership job, he may be able to better summarize his lifelong military experience and lay a solid foundation for the military academy's future sustainable development.

Speaking of which, Qi Jiguang is already seventy years old, and his time in command of the Imperial Guard has been too long, and has long exceeded the rule of no more than two consecutive terms stated by Gao Jingshi when he established the Imperial Guard.

It was only because of his high pragmatic relationship that Qi Jiguang made great contributions in the Battle of Fayuan and finally obtained the title of Count Haining. As a result, he was allowed to delay his resignation. In terms of his lifespan, he has lived ten years longer than in the original history.

Although it is said in history that Qi Jiguang's death at the age of sixty was mainly due to severe political suppression, mental illness factors may far outweigh physical problems. However, as the saying goes, people become rarer in their seventies, so Qi Jiguang, who is already in his early seventies, should step down from the important task of leading troops and go to a more leisurely position to use his spare energy.

Since Qi Jiguang was about to hand over the power of the Imperial Guard, it was not surprising to reuse Qi Jin.

However, although the imperial court appointed these positions, local officials in North Korea also had to make arrangements. For example, Li Shanhai was appointed as "the right deputy imperial envoy of the Metropolitan Procuratorate, the governor of Shandong and other places, the supervisor of farmland and the admiral of rivers and military affairs" - but Not taking up a new position for the time being.

The reason for not taking up the new post for the time being is that North Korean officials may not yet understand the domestic situation in Ming Dynasty, so they need an adaptation period.

The imperial court's arrangement for this is that no matter what position is now granted, the original Ming official in his position will not leave his post temporarily, and the yamen or place implements "dual officials" in this position. Of course, dual officials are dual officials, and the Ming official is actually in charge. Until three years later, the original official can leave and be replaced by a North Korean official.

However, there are also a group of North Korean officials who are special cases. Although they have official positions in the country, they will not return to the Ming Dynasty to take up their posts for the time being. Instead, they will stay in North Korea to assist the newly sent officials from the Zuo court.

For example, Li Shanhai was the leader of North Korea and the head of civil servants in North Korea, so he got the post of governor. However, the imperial edict ordered him not to go to Shandong to learn how to be a governor, but to stay in Korea to assist Gu Yangqian and Zhang Zuozhi. It is also obvious that almost all North Korean officials staying in North Korea are members of the Northern People's Party, so as not to argue with each other at this critical moment.

All in all, the transition between the old and the new, whether at home or in the new province of North Korea, takes time to adjust. The imperial edict of Zhu Yijun, an elder, is to solve the problem of running-in.

Gao Pragmatic, who was promoted again, naturally received a lot of congratulations. Although he returned the greetings one by one, he tried to be as low-key as possible.

Although Taifu is a rare title, considering that after the crown prince's canonization is completed, he will succeed as the first assistant, so naturally it is not suitable to celebrate with great fanfare now.

During this period of time, Gao Pragmatic must focus his attention on Kunning Palace to guard against anyone plotting evil. Of course, at the same time, we should also pay attention to the physical condition of the emperor's legitimate son. After all, the infant mortality rate is a big problem these days.

To this end, Gao Pragmatic also specially explained some precautions, which are relatively simple parenting manual-level knowledge for future generations. Although these things were very simple in later generations, at this time they were really not the same as some "customs".

After doing this, Gao Pragmatic felt as if he had been a nanny for a time. He was so exhausted physically and mentally that he didn't have the energy to continue discussing things like Japan and Arakan when he returned to the house, so he went back to his room to rest.

Youdao was afraid that something might happen, and bad news came early the next morning: the emperor's legitimate son discovered symptoms of jaundice.

Jaundice is just a symptom or sign that is very common in newborns. It is not a disease in itself. Generally speaking, it can actually be cured on its own, because most of these jaundices are physiological jaundice. But having said that, there are also cases that cannot heal on their own. For example, pathological jaundice usually cannot heal on its own, which can be a bit troublesome.

Originally, this extremely common symptom was generally ignored in the Ming Dynasty, but the identity of the emperor's legitimate son was too special, so everyone couldn't help but care.

After Gao pragmatic learned that the emperor's legitimate son had jaundice, he immediately rushed to the palace to understand the situation. When he asked, he found out that the symptoms were yellow eyes, yellow body, and yellow urine. When asked again, Chen Ju said that the emperor's legitimate son had taken the "Rusheng Pill" and asked the Marquis to rest assured.

The Marquis was not worried at first, but after hearing this "Rusheng Pill" that he had never heard of before, he became worried. He thought to himself that the name "Rushengwan" sounded a bit confusing, so there shouldn't be any problem, right? Many emperors of the Ming Dynasty had accidents when they took "pills".

But this time, Gao Pragmatic was overly concerned. Chen Ju explained the "Rusheng Pill" to him, and he was amazed and relieved at the same time.

It turns out that this "Rusheng Pill" is not some bragging and no-draft product. Not only has this medicine gone through numerous clinical trials, but it was actually developed by a famous Emperor of the Ming Dynasty.

Since Chen Ju couldn't fully explain it, he called an imperial doctor to explain it to Gao pragmatically. It turns out that jaundice is believed in Chinese medicine to be caused by dampness in the spleen and heat in the stomach, fumigation of the liver and gallbladder, and bile fluid not following the normal channels and overflowing into the skin.

Volume 4 of "Waitai Mi Yao" lists nine types of jaundice: stomach jaundice, heart jaundice, kidney jaundice, spleen jaundice, lung jaundice, tongue jaundice, flesh jaundice, marrow jaundice, and liver jaundice. It can be seen that although there are so many types of jaundice, they have common characteristics, but each has its own characteristics. The Rusheng Pill recorded in "Qiankun Business Secret Yun" is a good prescription for treating jaundice caused by spleen fatigue.

Speaking of "The Secret of Qiankun Business", we have to talk about Zhu Yuanzhang's seventeenth son Ning Wang Zhu Quan. When he was young, Zhu Quan joined other kings to go out to fight many times, and he was known for his good strategy. Later, King Zhu Di of Yan launched the four-year Jingnan Campaign. Seeing that the Daning armies under Zhu Quan's control were very powerful, he planned to control Zhu Quan and take him to Yan.

From then on, Zhu Quan's job became often drafting messages for Zhu Di. After Zhu Di won the throne, in order to avoid suspicion, Zhu Quan kept a low profile all day long, built a study room, played the piano and read, and gradually became a master of Jingzi, Jiuliu, ephemeris, medical divination, and Huang Lao. "Yun" is one of his works. The book includes 33 categories of diseases, 219 clinical prescriptions, 11 acupuncture prescriptions, and 11 plaster prescriptions.

It can be seen from this that the origin of Rushengwan is quite interesting. Rusheng, like a saint, can be understood as a pill without flaws and very good. Let’s see how the prince uses the medicine: one or two each of Cao Xuejie, Sheepwort, Platycodon, and Atractylodes, and five qian of licorice.

Although the highly pragmatic Jinghua Craftsman School has a medical department, in fact he himself did not understand medical skills, so he had to ask the imperial doctor for advice on the principles of this prescription. The imperial doctor explained that the first four herbs can all be dispersed and acted on, and have the effects of dispersing and relieving the surface, promoting qi and blood circulation. It is often used to treat external symptoms and qi stagnation and blood stasis. The three herbs in the middle are all bitter in nature and taste, can clear away fire and heat, and are mostly used to treat fever, fire syndrome, damp-heat accumulation, etc.

The imperial doctor also gave a pragmatic breakdown of the effects: Cao Xuejie, also known as Dijincao, has a pungent and mild taste. It can regulate qi and activate blood circulation, clear away heat and detoxify, diuresis and reduce jaundice, etc. Among the people, five or six qian of Dijincao is useful. , decoct in water and take it. Recipe for treating damp-heat jaundice; Sheepwort is pungent, bitter, warm, slightly toxic, dispels wind, resolves phlegm, reduces inflammation, and activates blood circulation; Platycodon is bitter and pungent, clears away heat and expels pus; Atractylodes is pungent, bitter, and warm. It clears away dampness and strengthens the spleen, dispels wind and cold; licorice harmonizes various medicines and clears away heat and detoxifies.

From the composition of the five herbs, it can be seen that the situation targeted by this method is obviously that the dampness of the spleen and stomach is more important than heat. No wonder "Syndrome Differentiation Record" points out another cause of spleen jaundice: it is caused by cold and dampness trapping the spleen and weak spleen yang. The conclusion in "Jingui Yaolue: Combined Treatment of Jaundice Diseases, Pulses and Syndrome" that "the Huang family obtains it from dampness" is obviously an out-and-out guideline for the treatment of jaundice.

As for how to make and take Rusheng Pills, this is also simple. Pound into fine powder, first put two bowls of mature vinegar into the pot, add four ounces of soap alum, simmer for a long time, add powdered medicine, then add white flour, no matter how much, mix it into one piece, and make Form into pills as big as adzuki beans.

Although Gao Pragmatic still only half-understood what he heard, at least judging from the imperial doctor’s attitude, it shouldn’t be a problem to treat jaundice with this Weiru Sheng Pill. Then he felt relieved and personally rewarded the imperial doctor for twelve hours. Pay him the money and let him go.

However, what Gao Jingshi didn't know was that he felt that jaundice was not a big deal. When Rushengwan was enough to deal with it, some people had been waiting for the emperor's legitimate son to develop jaundice for a long time.

At this moment, Li Wenjin happened to yawn and entered the secret room of Guangjinfang. As soon as he entered the door, he saw Xu Lingjiu standing up to greet him with a smile.

"Mr. Xu, why do you want to take over our house in such a hurry?" Li Wenjin asked, sitting down with a sleepy look.

Xu Lingjiu sneered in his heart, "It takes half an hour to ride in a sedan chair from your Li Wenjin mansion to my place in Guangjinfang. Even if you were pulled out of bed, you should have woken up by now." You're so pretentious, but after all, don't you want a high price? Huh, what a short-sighted mouse! How can a sparrow know the ambition of a swan?

However, although he felt contempt in his heart, his face was full of smiles. Shi Shiran walked to Li Wenjin and sat down, saying apologetically: "It's my fault for disturbing Yu Ma's sleep. I apologize to Yu Ma first."

Li Wenjin waved his hand: "There is no need to apologize, but we are thinking that you, Mr. Xu, are also a busy man, so you shouldn't just come to our family to catch up on old times, right? Could it be that Mr. Xu thinks that the information we provided before is wrong?" ?”

"What kind of person is Yu Ma? How could the information he provided be wrong? It makes no sense at all. It makes no sense at all." Xu Lingjiu waved his hand with a smile.

"Since the information is correct, why did Mr. Xu come to our house?" Li Wenjin still went straight to the point. Obviously he believed that he was qualified to win in front of Xu Lingjiu.

Xu Lingjiu's smile remained unchanged: "Do you know that the emperor's son has jaundice today, and the doctors have decided to treat it with Rusheng Pills?"

"I heard about it, so what?" Li Wenjin said carelessly: "This medicine was introduced by King Ning. The Tian family has been using it for two hundred years, and it has excellent effects. Speaking of which, the emperor also took it in his early years, and even fed it to us personally. As for...what, does Mr. Xu think there is something wrong?"

"It's nothing wrong with me." Xu Lingjiu smiled, and then took out a delicate small porcelain bottle from his arms, took off the cork, poured out a few pills, and asked, "I would like to invite you to appreciate it. This is like a saint in my hand." How’s the quality of the pills?”

Li Wenjin was a little confused, so he took one, looked at it, smelled it, and said with a puzzled look on his face: "Isn't it just an ordinary holy pill? What's so strange about it?"

Xu Lingjiu smiled and said: "Since it is Rushengwan, I wonder if Yu Ma can make the emperor's son take it?"

PS: As expected during the Golden Week, there were again positive cases from other provinces in my community. I looked at my itinerary and found that I was almost a close contact. After dinner last night, I received a notification from my child’s class to go out for nucleic acid testing. The cold wind and rain at night made the family of three almost catch a cold. After changing several nucleic acid sites, I found a queue with less than 100 people. It's almost eleven o'clock, and naturally the book can't be finished. This chapter is from yesterday. I owe you today’s debt temporarily, so I can find opportunities to make up for it in the future.
