As we all know, Diting, the six-eared macaque and Baize, these three mythical beasts rely on their magical powers to know many secrets of the three realms.
Among them, Bai Ze is the most aware of current affairs, and the six-eared macaque is the most low-key. As for listening, this guy would rather keep the secret in his heart than eavesdrop.
That is to say, it has a good owner. If Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva had not protected it, and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's character has always been strong in the three realms, I am afraid that Tingting would have suffered retribution long ago.
But even so, Tingting still only followed Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to stay in the Yinshan Dojo and never left the underworld.
Or is it because it knows too much? Many people have secrets that they don’t want others to know, and even more people really want to know other people’s secrets.
Ting Ting feels very helpless about this. You are all guarding me like a thief. Do you really think I can hear everything?
Besides, I can only hear what you say and what you think.
Those big guys like Laojun, Jade Emperor, Buddha, and Bodhisattva can clearly calculate ten lifetimes with just a few fingers. If you have the ability, why don't you go and cause trouble for them?
Thinking of this, Di Ting could only sigh helplessly. Who can afford to offend these big guys?
And despite the fact that these big guys are famous in the Three Realms, only Di Ting knows that apart from the Bodhisattva, each of the remaining ones is more petty than the last.
I was not curious about the scene of Master Tripitaka debating scriptures and Buddhism at Lingshan Mountain just now. But when I saw the Tathagata waving a hoe and trying to dig up Master Tripitaka to esoteric Buddhism, I couldn't help but laugh a few times.
The Buddha allowed himself to listen to the great sage reciting sutras. Is that something that humans can listen to?
Dogs don’t even listen!
Among the three realms, even the Buddha and the Jade Emperor dare to keep an ear relying on their master's blessing. Only the Great Sage was on Diting's blacklist. He never took the initiative to find out what the Great Sage was doing.
In this regard, the same is true for the six-eared macaque and Bai Ze.
The three great mythical beasts can be said to have suffered greatly from it.
It can only be said that all things in the three realms are mutually reinforcing and interfering with each other, which is really wonderful.
Who would have thought in the past that the nemesis of the three of them would be the Great Sage?
Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has not heard the thunder sound of the great sage, but it does not prevent him from knowing the power of the thunder sound of the great sage. After all, even if he is threatened by the Buddha and the Jade Emperor, Tingting is just pretending. When he is caught He said he would never do it again, but actually he dared to do it next time.
Only after listening to the great sage's thunder sound, I really looked like I was worse off than dead.
After calming down, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva turned around, silently reciting Amitabha Buddha in his heart, and secretly prayed for the monks in Dayei Temple, hoping that they would never resist the Dharma from now on.
On the other hand, while Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva felt lucky, he was also a little curious. He even wanted to try and hear what kind of magical power the Great Sage Thunder Sound was.
"Master!" Di Ting said righteously: "No! You don't want to!"
Yaoshou!
The master can't get out of Yinsi. If he wants to hear the thunder of the great sage, he can only invite the great sage to the Yinshan dojo. Will he be able to hide then?
Moreover, the power of the monkey chanting sutras is difficult for even gods and Buddhas to resist, let alone the innocent soul of Yinshan Mountain.
etc!
Master, it seems you can become a Buddha.
The premise is that you can still endure the reincarnation before the Great Sage Leiyin saves all the ghosts in hell.
The door of the Main Hall was closed.
Firstly, the Buddha wants to lock all the monks in the hall into the main hall; secondly, he is also afraid of the power of the Great Sage's thunder sound. Compared with the monks outside the hall, the monks in the hall have higher cultivation level after all, even if they are affected by some thunder sounds. Even if they are irrigated, their foundation will not be damaged. The same cannot be said for the monks outside the temple, especially those old monks who have gained the Tao from the mortal world and can practice in Lingshan.
Even Bodhisattvas can't stand the sound of the Great Sage's thunder. If they were allowed to listen to it, they might cause unwarranted murder.
The Buddha still had compassion, so he closed the door of the temple and let the monks outside the temple temporarily.
When the monks outside the hall saw that the door of the Main Hall was closed, they were naturally puzzled. The lingering aftertaste of the previous debate between Master Tripitaka and the Great Sun Tathagata and the Great Peacock King Ming in the hall had not dissipated. Naturally, now I am also looking forward to the next one even more.
But he never expected that the door of the Main Hall would be closed, and no sound could be heard inside.
And Jiaye and Anuo, who had arrived late, were even more frightened. They were sorting out the scriptures in the Sutra Pavilion, and naturally they had no idea what was going on in the Main Hall. Although they deliberately wanted to avoid discussing the sutras with Master Tripitaka , but the two of them really felt uneasy staying in the Sutra Pavilion.
In the end, the two of them decided to return to the Mahavira Hall. Even if they could avoid debating scriptures with Master Tripitaka, they would still be unable to escape punishment if the Buddha blamed them.
The two of them felt a little regretful on the way here, fearing that the Buddha would be punished for both crimes. While they were struggling, they saw the door of the Main Hall being closed directly.
For a moment, I was even more at a loss.
I had no choice but to sit down on the left and right outside the main hall, pretending to be the two gatekeepers.
Within the main hall.
Naturally, all the monks have their own thoughts.
After the debate between the Tathagata Mahavairocana and the Great Peacock King concluded, several Bodhisattvas with profound Buddhist dharma came forward to discuss with Tripitaka, including Bodhisattva Mahawisdom Voidgarbha, Bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta Mahasthamaprapta, and Bodhisattva Great Infinite Love.
Each of the wonderful theories is presented from three aspects: "empty precepts", "remembering the Buddha's mind and entering into the endurance of no birth" and "all dharmas are inexhaustible".
After the discussion, the Great Sun Tathagata, who could not leave the Mahavira Hall, deliberately put eye drops on the Buddha, and took action again decisively, inviting the Bodhisattva Kongzog to join the Tantric Buddhism. The Bodhisattva Kongzogang was also very interested when he listened to the three of them talking about Tantric Buddhism. , and happily agreed that it would be the "Treasury Vajra" for the Tantric Sect.
Buddha didn't care about this.
Because although this Bodhisattva of the Buddha is practicing Mahayana Buddhism, he is not his disciple, but a disciple of Western teachings. He entered the Mahayana from the Hinayana and attained the position of the Great Wisdom of the Bodhisattva of the Buddha.
Moreover, this Bodhisattva has always been out of place in the barren West.
Perhaps he is born with some great luck that others cannot touch, and he specializes in wisdom, merit and wealth. Therefore, when he walks in the three realms, he is most willing to do good, as long as poor living beings can come to him, or he sees poor people. As long as the other person observes the precepts according to the Dharma and has good wishes, all sentient beings will have nothing to answer for.
He is also one of the few Bodhisattvas who can respond to Master Guanyin's request to save all sentient beings in the three realms.
This is Lingshan General!
As for the two Bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta and Bodhisattva Infinite Intent,
The hoe of the Great Sun Tathagata can no longer be wielded.
After all, the former Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva used the power of wisdom to overcome the sufferings of the three paths and gained supreme power, so he was named Mahasthamaprapta. He then became a Buddha by chanting the name of the Buddha, and was named Shangyin Mani King of Accumulated Virtue Tathagata.
Together with Amitabha Buddha and Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, they are known as the "Three Saints of the West" and share the responsibility of guiding countless suffering sentient beings to the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
"The Buddha asked about perfect enlightenment. I had no choice. I picked up all six sense organs and pursued pure thoughts one after another to achieve samadhi. This is the first.
Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva became a Buddha by reciting the Buddha's name. He has great kindness and compassion, and is the founder of the Pure Sect.
Like Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva rides the Merciful Navigation in reverse to become a Buddha and reach the other shore. However, there are still suffering beings behind him, so he returns to the human world to help all sentient beings.
There is another Bodhisattva who behaves in the same way, the Bodhisattva Infinite Intent.
This Bodhisattva also achieved Buddhahood, but he could not bear to see all things suffering endlessly throughout his life, so he made a great wish deep in his heart, hoping to save all suffering creatures in the world, and wait until all sentient beings achieve enlightenment. After becoming a Buddha, he will take the final step to become a Buddha.
Such great ambitions are destined to have no end, so they are called endless intentions.
After discussing sutras with these three Bodhisattvas, Fahai naturally benefited a lot from his understanding of Buddhism.
Fahai, who has been a monk for two lifetimes, does not rest on his laurels. In addition, he has overcome his stubbornness and self-indulgence. Now he has learned from his own strong points and made up for his shortcomings in his own understanding of the "consciousness only" path, and has become more and more perfect.
Even facing these three great Bodhisattvas, he still did not fall behind at all.
Peacock Great Bright King Bodhisattva preached to the Great Sun Tathagata: "If he hadn't refused to achieve enlightenment, it would have been easy to achieve enlightenment and become a Buddha."
The Great Sun Tathagata responded with a smile: "Sanzang's practice is not for the purpose of attaining the True Fruition? His practice is to kill demons and eliminate demons, and to save all sentient beings, whether he can achieve the True Fruition, what difference does it make to him?"
When the Peacock King heard this, he was deeply convinced and sighed: "Of all the people who have become Buddhas in Lingshan, there are only a few who are as sincere as Tripitaka. I am not as good as me."
To be able to make King Ming, who is as arrogant as a peacock, say such words, it shows what kind of image Sanzang has in his heart. At the same time, it also makes him more convinced that even if his younger brother cannot worship Sanzang as his teacher, he still has to learn from Sanzang. conduct.
There are many monks in the Main Hall, and they are not the only ones "whispering".
Even the Buddha and the Bodhisattva communicated a lot in private.
Brothers Mu Zha and Jin Zha exchanged glances with each other, and from time to time they even communicated with the Great Sage.
Although they are all over a thousand years old, in this Mahavira Palace, facing these Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who have been practicing for tens of thousands of years, they can be regarded as genuine young people.
Young people naturally hang out with young people.
Veda Bodhisattva wanted to talk to them, but he couldn't get in the way. After all, Skanda Bodhisattva has attained enlightenment since the time of Emperor Fuxi.
If we talk about debating scriptures before, it was more like discussing Buddhism.
But the latter two appear to be quite different.
As one of the Buddha's protector envoys, the Great Vajrapani Bodhisattva has long heard that Master Tripitaka has boundless magical power. He happened to specialize in "power", so instead of discussing Buddhism with Master Tripitaka, he wanted to discuss Dharma power.
After all, for Buddhist monks, the more profound the Dharma is, the deeper the power will naturally be. The two complement each other and are positively correlated.
This time, it was considered a small climax in the Main Hall.
After all, everyone has heard about Master Tripitaka’s Dharma and magic power, but they have never seen it with their own eyes.
There is no need to mention the profoundness of Buddhism. Just now, several Bodhisattvas discussed the Dharma with the Great Sun Tathagata, which has already proved the level of Dharma of Master Tripitaka. Those present are either real Buddhas or Bodhisattvas, so they can naturally distinguish clearly.
Compared with Buddhism, Master Tripitaka's magical power is even more powerful.
After all, many demons along the way could be surrendered without even seeing them, such as the three demon kings of the Bull Demon King and the Shituoling.
Maybe those who are weaker just turn a blind eye, close one eye, and deliberately let it go for the sake of incense. But those big demon kings may really not be able to surrender.
Therefore, Master Fahai and his disciples coming west are basically two extremes.
Either they have great magical power, there are powerful fairies with tricky magical powers and magic weapons, or they are ordinary little fairies that are not worth mentioning. Mid-level fairies are really rare.
He did not wait for the Buddha to nod or for Sanzang to agree.
The monks had already spread out to both sides with a tacit understanding, and some Buddhas even used their magic power to hold their futons in mid-air, trying to make the space as large as possible.
Then the monks followed suit, and in just a blink of an eye, they spontaneously formed viewing seats according to the three different levels of Buddha, Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva, and Arhat.
Even the Great Sage and several other disciples were invited by Mu Zha and Jin Zha and were temporarily listed in the Discipline Academy class.
Seeing this, the Bodhisattva smiled and said nothing.
Does the Buddha still need to worry about his distribution?
Didn’t he take the initiative to find the organization?
The venue has been vacated, and Fahai, who is already happy to see Xun Xin, will naturally not refuse.
The last battle with the Wutian Demon Ancestor at the Tongtian River ended halfway, which was really unpleasant.
Moreover, Fahai knew very well that if he could not defeat the monks in Lingshan with his magic power, it would be difficult for him to gain recognition from the monks in Lingshan if he talked about "Consciousness Only Theory" later.
How can it be so simple to start a sect?
As for the Buddha's intention to let him take over Lingshan, Fahai had already heard the news.
After all, this matter had already caused a stir in Lingshan, and in addition, when he was in Xiaoxitian, he had seen the yellow-browed boy who came down to earth to block the way. Fahai still took this matter to heart.
Especially when fighting against Wutian Demon Ancestor on the banks of the Tongtian River, the other party once mentioned: "The Tathagata wants to pass on the position of Buddha to you, so I am here to test your strength."
This is why Fahai revealed his demonic nature at that time and said the words "If you don't become a Buddha or become a demon, you just want to be an ordinary monk."
boom!
The Great Brave Vajrapani Bodhisattva holds the Vajra Pestle and belongs to the Vajra Division. He has great authority to subdue all demons and outsiders, eliminate all disasters caused by earth, water, fire, wind and space, govern all Vajra Dharma protectors, and assist the Buddha to save all living beings.
Although Vajrapani Bodhisattva maintains his own strength, he never dares to underestimate Master Tripitaka.
Even if he showed his own Dharma appearance——
It has one face, two arms and three eyes, with a black and blue body, a five-stranded skull crown on its head, red hair upturned, beard and brows like fire, fangs exposed and tongue rolled, and three red eyes wide open.
The right hand performs the Qimian Seal and holds the Vajra Pestle. The left hand holds the Wrath Fist Seal and holds the Vajra Hook Rope on the chest.
Standing majestically on the Lotus Sun Disk Seat, it ignites the Prajna Flame.
His famous magical weapon, the Vajra, is even more gleaming, symbolizing the invincible and invincible power. It is performed with the power of a Bodhisattva. Its power can not only subdue demons and demons, but also melt into people's hearts and crush fear.
When the great sage saw it, he curiously asked Skanda Bodhisattva on the side: "Bodhisattva, I wonder whose vajra is more powerful than your vajra and this Bodhisattva's vajra?"
