Of course Fahai knew about Kinnara Bodhisattva, but he only knew that there had been such a great protector in Lingshan.

When he heard that this Kinnara Bodhisattva was the great sage of the demon world, he inevitably had some doubts in his heart.

This also gave rise to another idea in his mind. Perhaps he did not travel through time and space from the later generations. Why did he appear in this world, and why did he set out to become the so-called world of one sand and one bodhi? Master Tripitaka who went to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures may have another reason.

Because of his experience, Fa Hai will not hold on to things that he cannot figure out for the time being.

And if you don't know about this kind of thing, you just don't know. Even if you think about it all your brains, you can't figure out the reason. Instead of wasting your mind, it's better to take a closer look at the things in front of you.

The Great Sage saw that the Master frowned at first after hearing this, but his expression soon returned to normal and he stopped talking. The Master must have had his own plans.

"Wukong."

Fahai sent a message to Wukong: "This matter is related to the demon world. It is handled by the Buddha and the Jade Emperor. If we want to use our strength, we must bear the responsibility. Now, let's do the things at hand first."

"Yes." The Great Sage responded, and then said: "Disciple, go to the poor country."

"Go." Fahai smiled and nodded: "Xiao Bailong has already gone ahead. You can find him or work together, or branch out to the north and south. It is up to you two to discuss."

The great sage jumped away.

If, as the Taoist said, such Buddhist temples are commonplace in the two countries of Poor Po and Mie Dharma, it would be the greatest stain on Buddhism.

Although I don’t know why Lingshan is sitting idly by, but now that their master and disciple have met, they will not ignore it.

This has nothing to do with Buddhism, but their behavioral principles when walking in the three realms.

Dawn.

The Taoist escorted the criminal monk to Beijing.

The young lama monk was in a trance, standing outside Zhenhai Zenlin Temple, looking at his former fellow disciples and elders, all of whom had their hands tied and looked ferocious, showing no trace of Dharma dignity.

"Master." The lama monk was a little flustered. He asked Master Tripitaka next to him: "Is what I am doing right or wrong?"

"Whether it's right or wrong, it all depends on one's mind." Fahai looked at the obviously uneasy lama, and his face gradually became serious, "It shouldn't be for others to comment, but people in this world are by no means rootless. Ping, there is entanglement of cause and effect when floating in the sky and earth. When there is entanglement of cause and effect, many times, one cannot help one's own willfulness. The debate between right and wrong is also involved."

This is a commonplace saying, and in fact it has no practical significance, but when Master Tripitaka said it, it somewhat gave the lama monk some peace of mind.

"You have been reciting sutras for more than ten years. What does Buddha look like in your heart?" Fahai asked him.

There is a Buddha in everyone's heart, and the Buddha in everyone's heart is by no means the same. The Buddha in Fa Hai's heart is even more different from the Buddha in the hearts of monks in the three realms.

After all, a Buddha who kills living beings and eliminates karma does not sound serious.

"The Buddha in my heart?" The lama monk was stunned, and turned to look at the golden statue in the main hall. He originally thought that his Buddha looked like this in his heart, but when he looked over, he felt that the shining golden Buddha statue was alive. There was a smell of copper.

The Buddha statue that was originally clear became blurry and untouchable as his thoughts deepened.

After a while, the lama monk slowly spoke: "I don't know that the Buddha is invisible in the young monk's heart, so he has no image."

"I wonder what the Buddha in Master's heart looks like?" the Lama monk asked Master Tripitaka.

"Amitabha." Fahai recited the Dharma name, smiled at the lama monk and said, "Do you want to come in and take a look?"

The lama monk was stunned, not understanding what Master Tripitaka meant.

When his eyes met Master Sanzang's, he felt that his soul was attracted by the whirlpool and swept by the storm on the vast ocean.

Open your eyes and see the Buddha's light, and then your soul will be shocked and return to your body.

Tata!

His feet softened and he almost fell to the ground.

Fahai did not help him, and the lama monk gradually came back to his senses with his own willpower. However, his legs and feet were a little weak, so he sat cross-legged on the ground, clasped his hands, and when he opened his eyes and looked at Master Tripitaka, his eyes stopped. The look of constant horror.

Obviously, what he saw just now was beyond his expectation.

"It is true that he is an eminent monk of the Tang Dynasty." The lama monk was sincerely convinced. "What I saw just now, I should remember it deeply, but I will never let out a word of it."

"It doesn't matter if people know it." Fahai said to the Lama Monk: "You are a Buddha, I am a Buddha, and he is a Buddha. Everyone is like a Buddha, and everyone is a Buddha. This is the true Buddha. Don't be afraid of people knowing, and be afraid that people don't know. "

The lama monk showed pain on his face and said: "The Buddhist teachings of the young monk are superficial and have no realm. The Master's Zen skills are so profound that it is difficult for the young monk to understand them."

"Amitabha."

Fahai recited the Buddha's name and said no more.

When Fahai looked inside his mind, he saw a shirtless monk on top of the turbulent waves. The monk had a heavenly dragon on his back and a black turtle on his feet. The Zen staff in his hand was buzzing and he stood with one hand on his chest.

On the other side of this monk, there is the phantom of the World-Honored One. His figure is disillusioned and has no real place.

Fa Hai looked at it, but that face was exactly that of the Lama Monk Shicai. As his eyes touched it, the Buddha's face changed thousands of times in an instant, showing it to all men, women, old and young. Eventually, it gradually overlapped with the appearance of Master Tripitaka.

Then it began to rotate endlessly among the faces of sentient beings.

The five masters and disciples did not stay at Zhenhai Chanlin Temple for a few more days.

After Xiao Bailong and the Great Sage walked around the Buddhist temples in the Poor Po Country and dealt with the bandits and those who used the name of Buddha, the five masters and disciples set off to the west.

"Master, what on earth did you say to that lama monk?" After leaving the Zhenhai Chanlin Temple, the Great Sage couldn't help but ask: "How did you get him to look like that?"

Little Bailong, who had not yet gone to explore the mountains, also pricked up his ears.

"I just briefly said a few words about Buddhism." Fahai laughed and said: "Besides, his Lama Sutra is not authentic and has many biases, so he used some rough methods to break the shackles in his heart and feel at ease, as a teacher He left some orthodox Zen Buddhist scriptures, and if he can learn more about them, it will be enough for him to reestablish the foundation of Zhenhai Zenlin Temple."

Zen.

Although today's Zen Buddhism has spread in China, it is still slightly weaker than other major sects.

But Fahai is different. He was a figure in the Song Dynasty.

"Buddha is worthy of worship and respect." Fa Hai said to several disciples: "You cannot ask for help alone."

Fahai had said similar words to several of his disciples not once or twice.

"Becoming a Buddha is not something you seek, it depends on your own practice." Fahai said to the great sage: "The Taoist once asked me that there are many monks in this temple who worship Buddha devoutly, so why can't I protect him as a teacher? I have doubts.”

"Master, have you figured it out?"

"Although I haven't figured it out, I have gained something." Fahai held a nine-ringed tin staff in one hand and raised the other hand in front of his chest. "Buddha said: If you see me with my form and seek me with my voice, you will be practicing evil ways and you will not be able to see the Tathagata. .”

The Great Sage thought for a while and said out of curiosity: "Master, if we go on this trip to seek scriptures, wouldn't it mean that we are on an evil path? We will not be able to see the Tathagata?"

Bajie laughed after hearing this and said: "Brother Monkey, we are not going to seek scriptures when you are attracted by the image. It was the Tathagata Buddha who invited the Bodhisattva and selected the master to go to Lingshan to seek scriptures."

"Getting sutras is not asking for sutras." Bajie shook his head, "It doesn't matter whether we see the Tathagata or not. We just take the sutras and leave. As for worshiping the Buddha, Master said that if the Buddha is in the heart, there are spiritual mountains everywhere. Just worship in the heart."

The Great Sage looked at Bajie's body of nearly 500 kilograms, and he was afraid that he had a weight of 480 kilograms. This old pig had less and less respect for Lingshan and Buddha.

It's summer.

Just when the wind is beginning to stir, there is a hint of plum rain.

The greenery is dense, and the gentle breeze attracts the young birds. New lotuses turn over the swamp, and bamboos gradually help the suspense.

The master and the disciples went all the way to the west. Xiao Bailong was exploring the road ahead, but on a path in the tall willow forest, he was caught by an old woman.

He was pinching his own inverse scales.

Xiao Bailong was horrified, and just when he was about to struggle to escape, the old woman sent him to a little girl standing by the side.

The little white dragon sniffed subconsciously and caught a whiff of dragon aura. Before he could speak, the little girl held it in her hand and played with it. In anger, when he was about to turn into a human form, he saw the old lady. With the flower basket hanging on his arm, his heart suddenly moved and he said: "Disciple Ao Lie pays homage to the Bodhisattva."

Seeing that his whereabouts had been revealed, the Bodhisattva also manifested his true form. The little girl holding the little white dragon also turned into the appearance of the Good Wealth Dragon Girl. The Good Wealth Dragon Girl placed the little white snake on the ground, and the little white snake rolled on the spot. , transformed into human form.

The little white dragon and the Bodhisattva are also acquaintances. Although the Bodhisattva was teased when he met him just now, the little white dragon didn't care. After bowing to the Bodhisattva, he asked, "Why is the Bodhisattva here?"

"Waiting for your master and apprentice to come."

"Master and the brothers are still behind, and the disciples will be the vanguard to explore the way." Xiao Bailong explained first, and then asked: "I don't know what demons are ahead. I asked the Bodhisattva to wait here specially."

"Go to a mortal country where there are no monsters and no monsters."

"Destroy France." Xiao Bailong followed the Bodhisattva's words.

The Bodhisattva took a deep look at Xiao Bailong and said, "It seems that you have already discovered something."

While Xiao Bailong and the Bodhisattva were talking, the master and several senior brothers had already arrived. Seeing that the Bodhisattva appeared, the master and the disciples naturally stepped forward to pay homage.

"Bodhisattva, why does Lingshan not care about a Buddhist temple like Zhenhai Chanlin Temple?" Fahai got straight to the point. He had nothing to hide from the Bodhisattva and just said what he had to say.

Naturally, the Bodhisattva would not be blamed for this, but she did not expect Sanzang to ask such a direct question, but she still said very patiently: "The Tathagata is sitting in the Lingshan Mountain, and all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats are doing their own thing. The Lingshan Mountain can't take care of it, not just the Zhenhai Chanlin Temple. ?”

"When your master and disciples came from the east, they saw the state of the Western Continent with their own eyes. There is no need for me to describe it in detail."

Now that the Bodhisattva is no longer covered by the Lingshan Mountain, Master Tripitaka sighed after hearing this and said to the Bodhisattva: "Monks don't lie. The picture the Bodhisattva painted in Chang'an is completely different from what the poor monk saw."

The Bodhisattva thought for a while and said: "The land of Tianzhu at the foot of Lingshan Mountain is still consistent."

Hope so.

Fa Hai sighed softly in his heart, and then his expression when looking at the Bodhisattva changed slightly. The Bodhisattva he saw today seemed a little more tired than before.

The Bodhisattva's mind seemed to be consumed a lot.

Even for a Bodhisattva, it is not an easy task to incarnate thousands of dharma bodies and perform good deeds in the human world to save all sentient beings.

In other words, the Bodhisattva could have been more relaxed, but she always remained in this state that was almost close to the limit.

Buddhas are not omnipotent, and neither are Bodhisattvas.

However, the Bodhisattva has passed down the reputation of "answering all requests" in the world. This shows that the Bodhisattva appears frequently in the world.

Those who seek for children worship Bodhisattva, those who seek blessings also worship Bodhisattva, those who seek fame and fame worship Bodhisattva, those who seek wealth also worship Bodhisattva and seek protection from Bodhisattva. It seems to have become the mantra of beings in the three worlds when encountering difficulties or dangers.

You can read it subconsciously.

This is cause and effect.

That is to say, the mind of a Bodhisattva can bear it from life to life and can manifest its spirit everywhere.

"There are five or six miles ahead, where the capital of France is located." Guanyin Bodhisattva looked at Master Tripitaka and asked, "You came from Zhenhai Chanlin Temple, where did you learn about the current situation of France?"

"I know a little bit about it." Fahai nodded and told the Bodhisattva about the collusion between Buddhist temples and bandits to make money. Then he paused for a moment and then said: "It's only now that I've entered France to destroy the country that I know that the Buddhist temples in this country are , has almost been wiped out by the king."

"It's more than just destroying the Buddhist temple." The Bodhisattva sighed, looking slightly melancholy.

The master and disciples rarely saw the Bodhisattva show such a human expression. Just when they were surprised, they heard the Bodhisattva continue to say: "The king of the country made a great wish to kill ten thousand people two years ago. A monk has killed nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-six unknown monks one after another in the past two years. I just need to wait for four famous monks to make up ten thousand to achieve consummation."

"Unknown monk?" The Great Sage exclaimed, "There are so many nameless monks in this country?"

"Where are those famous monks?" Bajie asked.

"There is a Bodhisattva here, so those famous monks must have been rescued." Fahai probably guessed why the Bodhisattva was here.

To put it nicely, those monks who have not read the CD are called unknown monks; and the public’s name for them is very unkind - wild monks.

Like Zhenhai Chanlin Temple, there are only a few bandits who can seize the foundation of a temple, and most of them depend on each other. I just didn't expect that two years ago, the king started to kill the monks.

"But a true monk is not necessarily innocent." Fahai thought of the abbot of Zhenhai Zenlin Temple.

The Bodhisattva nodded and responded: "The monks who committed the crime have been personally dealt with by the poor monks. Those fake monks were also bandits who harmed one party, so they were captured by the soldiers to save their lives."

"Now we are waiting for you. In addition to the layman Xiaobailong, we and Master are exactly four famous monks." The Great Sage said in a somewhat unkind tone, "Won't the Bodhisattva ask us masters and disciples to fulfill his wish to kill?"

"You monkey head." The Bodhisattva pulled out a willow branch, stroked his head gently, and said, "Even if he uses the fortune of the country as a sword, he still can't chop off your monkey head."
