The Mouse Spirit knows things well. The scene when the cassock was spread out reminded her of the scene when her adoptive father Li Tianwang subdued her with the exquisite pagoda. She had nowhere to escape.
Fortunately, this cassock was directed towards the evil ghost, not me.
The reason why she dared to hang out in front of Master Sanzang before was entirely because she had the magical power of Li Daitao. At critical moments, she could turn her shoes into a clone of herself and leave her body behind.
Rat spirits are born to be good at digging holes.
In the way of earth escape, he has a unique talent, and he disappears with just a twist of his body.
She was afraid that if she didn't leave, she wouldn't be able to leave again.
Xiao Bailong didn't need his master to say anything, he immediately turned into a white snake and chased the mouse spirit out. Her scent was unique, and her whereabouts couldn't be hidden from Xiao Bailong's detection.
He chased him all the way to the bottomless pit of Zengkong Mountain.
Then... the little white dragon disappeared.
It's not that Xiao Bailong couldn't find the smell of the rat spirit, but the smell of the rat spirit was everywhere in this bottomless pit. Within three or two steps, there was a fork in the road, and each fork in the road was filled with countless potholes and holes. Interoperability.
Xiao Bailong searched for the scent of rat spirit for a long time and got a little lost.
There are not many realms like this in the Three Realms. In addition to the Hollow Mountain, the Wanku Mountain also has a similar pattern. Unless someone is familiar with the road, it will be difficult to get out once you fall in.
Even Xiaotian Dog will have to endure some hardships in a place like this. If he doesn't spend some effort, he may not be able to find the right path.
Although Xiao Bailong's sense of smell is weaker than that of Xiaotian Dog, because he has practiced with his master for a long time, his spiritual awareness has become deeper and deeper, and the scope of his exploration has naturally become wider.
Not long after, Xiao Bailong not only found the goblin's lair, but also discovered some other surprises.
To avoid disturbing the situation, Xiao Bailong used the photography technique to record what he saw, and then escaped from Xiankong Mountain.
...
Zhenhai Zenlin Temple.
Fahai was not worried when the mouse spirit left, because he knew that Xiao Bailong would chase him, and he didn't need special instructions for such trivial matters.
On the contrary, the evil ghost in this Buddhist temple made Fahai always frowning.
It was originally a pure place for Buddhism, but it has become what it is now... As a disciple of Buddhism, Fa Hai cannot turn a blind eye or sit idly by.
The reason why he used a cassock instead of a purple gold alms bowl and a nine-ring tin staff was because he was afraid that the evil ghost would not be able to bear it and would be beaten to pieces.
Even if the evil spirit is full of sinister energy, even if it is placed in the underworld, it is definitely a powerful ghost. In time, it may not be possible to become a ghost king.
But in front of such eminent monks as Master Tripitaka, he was really not worth mentioning. Facing the cassock that covered the sky and the moon, he had no power to fight back. He was instantly wrapped up and fell in front of Master Tripitaka.
"Amitabha."
"Master, forgive me!" Li Gui's voice was hoarse and shrill. If a mortal heard it, he would be frightened to death immediately, but his expression at the moment was full of pleading, for fear of being saved by the Buddha's light.
From the fact that he had seen Wu Jing's spiritual clone subconsciously trying to escape, he knew that it cherished its life and knew the current situation. Unfortunately, it could not escape and was already captured.
And the first thing it does after being caught is beg for mercy.
"You kid, why are you running away?" Bajie, who had always bullied the weak and feared the strong, saw that this fierce ghost was of no use, so he stepped forward and kicked it.
Li Gui hurriedly said: "A lonely soul like me should have entered reincarnation...I was captured by others and trained with secret techniques to become a ghost...Mage, those harmful things to others are not out of my nature."
Fahai saw that it spoke quite calmly, and thought to himself: It seems that this ghost was not an ordinary person during his lifetime.
Then he asked: "Please tell me the reason."
Seeing that things were turning around, the fierce ghost quickly kowtowed: "Master... Master Mingjian... I am originally good, but I am not evil. It was all because of my inability to control myself that I turned into a ghost..."
"I was originally a monk in this temple. I once witnessed the abbot and the bandits privately giving gold and silver to people. I was so horrified that I did not hide my whereabouts. Therefore, the abbot and the bandits discovered... They saw that their secret was revealed by me. You want to lure me into the gang, how can I do such blasphemous things if I accept the Dharma?"
More than twenty years ago.
It was a dark and windy night. The mountain behind the Zen Yuan.
A young lama was meditating and meditating behind an old pine tree, but by some chance he saw the director of the hospital colluding with bandits, and they were colluding...
He saw the president of this court using gold and silver to replace people with bandits.
Just when I was about to get up and listen to what they were saying, maybe there was a louder movement, and someone noticed my whereabouts... I received a heavy stick on the back of my head, and I fainted immediately.
When the young lama opened his eyes, he saw the abbot and the bandit leader. The young lama was horrified. He didn't know why the abbot colluded with the bandits, but he knew that he was probably in trouble this time.
"Amitabha." The host said to the little lama: "You are the most wise disciple in our academy. You have extraordinary Buddhist teachings at a young age... What happened today has nothing to do with you, but who can tell clearly about the reincarnation of cause and effect? ? Since you have stumbled upon the secret, I will not hide it from you... Zhenhai Chanlin Temple will be mine in a short time. If you switch to my sect, I will ensure your prosperity and wealth in the future."
Naturally, the little lama refused to comply, and argued with the Buddhist precepts, asking the host to repent to the Buddha, hoping that he could change his ways.
"Hahaha." The bandit laughed and said: "How can there be any Buddha in this world? It's just a way to fool people's hearts. Since you sincerely worship Buddha, you must be blessed by Buddha... Then I will chop you and see if it works. The Buddha appeared."
The little lama was stunned. Faced with such words from the bandit leader, he didn't know what to do for a moment.
Seeing that the little lama looked strange, the bandit said: "In this way, if I kill you with one knife, what happens next will naturally have nothing to do with you; but with one blow, if you really get the blessing of the Buddha and save the day... I will So I became a monk and worshiped the Buddha sincerely."
The little lama died. The little lama closed his eyes and said to the bandits: "Okay."
Then pray sincerely to the Buddha in your heart.
The result was that the little lama's head was separated with a single blow, and he died tragically at the hands of the bandits.
However, his soul was not detained by the messengers of the Yin Division, but was contained in a piece of ancient jade by the host using a secret method.
The bandit leader felt strange and asked: "If a person is dead, what if we let him go to reincarnation? Why should we detain his soul?"
But the abbot said: "His soul is quite powerful. I have a secret method to refine him into a fierce ghost. There are several mountains in this area, and there are still spirits in the mountains. There is always no harm in raising a fierce ghost."
This host has a little magic power, but not much... In addition, this Zhenhai Zenlin Temple does not have any serious practice and inheritance methods. It still follows the path of Jianghu, and Jianghu Kung Fu is just an ordinary method, and there is nothing magical about it. Otherwise, he would not be reduced to raising ghosts.
Even this secret method of raising ghosts actually has an illegitimate origin... How could a serious Buddhist temple have such a method?
Moreover, after the host obtained this method, he had long wanted to raise a powerful ghost. This little lama was also one of his targets... Even if the bandit leader did not kill him, the host would not let him go. Little Lama.
...
"That's it. My soul was sealed by the abbot and turned into a fierce ghost who only knows how to kill."
The evil ghost was still wrapped in the cassock, but he was no longer struggling at this moment. No matter what, he was very satisfied that Master Tripitaka could listen to his explanation.
"What happened next?" the great sage asked him. The story was obviously not finished yet, and there would be a follow-up.
"Later... the abbot conspired with the bandit leader to seize the Zhenhai Zenlin Temple. The bandit leader became a monk and worshiped the abbot. Soon after, the abbot became a demon and became possessed by fire. He died and the bandit leader inherited the abbot's position. The secret method will naturally control me...The bandit leader is now the master of the hospital."
"During that period, the host and the bandit leader brought human blood and souls, and they kept feeding me... and also devoured all the spirits in the nearby mountains." Li Gui said to Master Sanzang: "Master... such acts of killing, I only found out after my intelligence recovered."
"However, I did it intentionally when I killed the courtyard master and devoured his soul."
After saying this, Li Gui looked at Master Sanzang cautiously, as if waiting for his own trial.
At this time, Bajie was sitting next to him. Although he did not and could not open the cassock wrapped around him, he still patted his shoulder, but did not speak.
Because Bajie didn’t know what to say.
"Hey." The Great Sage sighed and said, "Mortals in the world often say, 'I won't let you go even if you become a ghost.' But now that I listen to your words, I really feel something else."
Li Gui also lowered his head... But after a moment, he raised his head, looked at Master Sanzang and others with some surprise, and said to himself: Is the focus of your attention a little skewed?
When it comes to things like revenge, their masters and disciples have always had different ideas from those advocated by Buddhist orthodoxy.
How to repay kindness with kindness?
What's more, it's such a murderous revenge.
Even after saving Red Boy, Master Sanzang never thought that the Bull Demon King should not seek revenge on him.
This has no direct connection with whether they are monsters or cannibals.
Fahai would not stop others from avenging the monsters who died in his own hands; nor would he easily persuade others to let go of their hatred, saying that it would be time to repay grievances.
Because he has no position to let those who hold grievances go.
Perhaps for me, "let go" is just a light word, but for the person involved, the weight of these two words may be a lifelong burden.
And many times, the power brought by hatred is very terrifying... If it is not handled properly, the consequences will be really unimaginable.
A famous example in the Three Realms is: Erlang God Yang Jian failed to save his mother from Taoshan, and angrily killed the Jade Emperor's nine golden crows. It is said that the last little golden crow was saved in time by Fairy Guanghan.
But evil ghosts should not appear in the human world no matter what.
Fahai was able to distinguish the truth from the evil words, so he took action to purify his anger, and then sent him to Yinshan Mountain along with the innocent souls who had died innocently in the Buddhist temple over the years.
"oops!"
The little lama had just arrived at Yinshan Mountain when he saw Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and the big dog lying beside him. He quickly paid homage and said, "I have seen Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva."
Living people cannot worship Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. He is a ghost after death, so it is okay to worship him.
Di Ting, who was on the side, suddenly asked him, "You said you worshiped the Buddha. When you cut off the knife, the Buddha didn't even protect you in the slightest. Do you still believe in the Buddha now?"
The young lama smiled and said, "The Buddha is kind in the heart. Worshiping the Buddha is just doing good deeds... It's a pity that the disciple's heart is no longer kind."
"Amitabha." Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha recited the Buddha's name, and a ray of Buddha's light shone on the little lama. Although the hostility in his body was reduced a lot by Master Tripitaka, his sinful karma was not reduced at all.
Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva also knew what Master Tripitaka meant.
Revenge is revenge, but the matter of killing people and stealing souls cannot be stopped because of this...the punishment that they deserve cannot be less.
The purpose of his salvation here is to let these ghosts redeem all their sins and then reincarnate cleanly. Let innocent souls in the next life not be burdened by the past life.
】
As for blessings, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has no intention and no room to interfere in this area.
...
Here Fa Hai and Wu Jing are trying to save the souls of their enemies.
The Great Sage and Bajie have invited all the lamas and monks in the backyard... and started questioning them one by one.
Except for a few old monks who chant sutras, they are genuine lamas. The rest are all monks who came to this temple to avoid trouble. They are all high-status figures, including many court officials. One of the lamasangs was one of the prisoners arrested by the Taoist in the second-story gate... and he was arrested on the spot.
Only then did the Taoist reveal his identity.
Then, the Great Sage and Bajie helped him interrogate the prisoners, and Wu Jing also separated a spirit body to take notes.
"Master, I found it!"
It was also a coincidence that after Fa Hai had redeemed the wronged souls here, a small white snake poked its head out in front of his eyes, and then it returned to the appearance of a small white dragon and said, "The mouse spirit's cave has been found. , the disciple also found some clues about her origin..."
"Let's be honest." Fahai said to Xiao Bailong: "Which real Buddha is behind her?"
"Master... it's not Lingshan." Xiao Bailong lowered his head and said in a deep voice, "It's King Li Tian and Nezha."
Um? !
As soon as these words came out, even the Great Sage was stunned for a moment and asked: "Is this true?!"
"Master, senior brother, please see, this is the longevity tablet that I found in her cave." Xiao Bailong stretched out his hand and used the technique of taking a photo to show what he saw in the Hollow Mountain in front of everyone.
In front of the back wall of the cave is a dragon-toned lacquer offering table. On the table is a large gold incense burner with the aroma of incense inside. There is a large gold-lettered plaque on it, which says "Respect the position of father Li Tianwang", and slightly below it reads "Respect the position of brother Nezha as the third prince".
Everyone saw clearly, and the Great Sage frowned deeply and said in a deep voice: "I have never heard that King Li Tian has such a daughter, let alone Nezha talking about her sister."
"Wukong."
"Master."
"Please go to the Heavenly Prince's Mansion and inform Prince Li and the Third Prince of this matter first..."
