Karma. There are good karma, bad karma, and unrecorded karma; there are fixed karma and unfixed karma; there are common karma and separate karma; and there are inducing karma and full karma.
To put it simply, karma is the power of cause and effect. The saying: "Good will be rewarded with good, evil will be rewarded with evil. It's not that there will be no reward, the time has not yet come." This is a basic manifestation of karma.
And there is another old saying: magical power cannot equal karma, and karma cannot equal the power of one's will. Therefore, those who make great vows can bear great karma.
Just like Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's great bright wish to cross all the hells, and also like the secret thoughts in the mind of Dharma Sea to cross the three realms. Buddha said: As soon as a thought arises, everyone in the world will know it.
If you want to do it, the ten directions will shake. If you stir up your thoughts and disturb the gods and Buddhas of the ten directions, it is a hindrance and even more karma, so you should not be careless.
And for those who carry out their great wishes with determination, why should they take it easy? This is true not only for Buddhism, but also for Taoism and Xuanmen.
Master Yuding once taught Yang Jian about the power of the mind, love, hatred, life and death, and the seven emotions and six desires of a person, which can all be transformed into powerful magic power. This is the power of the mind.
The three sources of Yang Jian's strength are derived from his hatred for heaven, his small love for his family, relatives and friends, and now his great love for all living beings in the three realms. They finally merged into one, becoming the Taoist protector of the Qingyuan Miaodao. Heavenly Court Zhao Huixian Sheng Erlang Zhenjun, and now the judicial god of the three realms.
Yang Jian’s great love for the Three Realms, isn’t it also a great wish? It's just that Buddhism and Taoism have different views, but they actually have one origin.
Yang Jian is like this, and Fahai is like this. With great wishes, karma is not so much a burden to them as nourishment, or the driving force to spur them forward.
Fahai didn't care that the karma on his body increased. Even sometimes in the dead of night, he would have even more extreme thoughts in his mind - if the karma of the three realms is added to my body, can I cross the three realms?
Of course, Fahai just wanted to think about it. The bigger the vision, the more difficult it is to realize it.
Don’t you see, Guanshiyin Bodhisattva and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva have made great wishes, but they have not yet been fulfilled. Although Fahai's wish is only in his heart, it cannot be achieved overnight, or even in a lifetime. It requires eternal struggle for it.
What about the two Western religious leaders who promised great prosperity to the West? Nowadays, the West is booming, but Mahayana Buddhism has been achieved. The name of Western religion has disappeared in the world of mortals. But I wonder if the two saint leaders had foreseen such a scene when they made their great vows?
If someone else does evil, someone else will suffer retribution; one's own actions will reap their own consequences, and this is the case for all living beings. The spirit of the white elephant was refined by Buddha's fire, crumbling and almost dissipated.
Although he also wanted to die, he was still eager to try when the Buddha's flame burned his heart. Unfortunately, he still couldn't resist the power of the Buddha's flame.
His soul ached, but his heart calmed down. He looked at Master Tripitaka and said, "It is a great regret in my life that I could not know Master Sanzang earlier. Now that I have refined my heart through the flames of Buddha, I have realized my mind clearly, but I have no regrets. In fact, It is your own fault. It is said that if you listen to the Tao in the morning, you may die in the evening - if you are destined to meet my master, please ask the master to tell you. I only say that evil disciples are unfilial, live their lives in ignorance, and have failed to teach the master." After that, Bai Xiang said. Closed his eyes.
Just wait for the soul to drift away and return to the three realms. At this time, I saw the Buddha's light coming from the east, which was the virtual form of a spiritual elephant, with a long trunk looking up to the sky and whistling, as if there were birds speaking to the Buddha. This was the virtual form of the spiritual elephant Buddha.
Although it is in the belly of the green lion, Fahai and the white elephant are observing it.
"Hahahaha." White Elephant laughed and said, "Although I am dead, my path is not over yet." The White Elephant's true spirit dissipated, but the virtual form of the Spiritual Buddha escaped into the belly of the green lion, and then transformed into the White Elephant's body, and merged. For one.
This turn of events was beyond Fahai's expectation. Others may not recognize the virtual form of the spiritual elephant, but Fahai knows that the virtual form of the spiritual elephant was born from the incense offered by the people of Baoxiang Kingdom. However, its origin came from the white elephant after all, and it is only now that it has this incarnation. .
Perhaps the purification of the white elephant scattered in the three realms was inherited a little by the virtual form of the spiritual elephant, and then transformed into a real body through the body of the white elephant, which looks a lot more agile.
Fa Hai took the white elephant and escaped from the belly of the green lion, but saw the white elephant fall to the ground, the Buddha's light appeared, and the golden light shone. The person at the elephant's mouth said: "Namo Daxing Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, in all the worlds of the ten directions, all people in the three generations." Master, by purifying my body, speech and mind, I have completely wiped out all the obeisances. Universal Worthy, with the power of my holy vows, appears in front of all Tathagata, I reappear in the earthly body, and pay homage to the earthly Buddha again and again...I am here Universal Worthy’s extraordinary deeds, boundless blessings are all dedicated to me, and I wish to indulge all sentient beings and quickly go to the Buddha Land of Infinite Light.”
"I uphold the Six Perfections and conduct ten thousand practices in the three realms, without seeking for positive results, in order to atone for the sins of my original spiritual tooth. I follow the path of the Bodhisattva and practice great practices, like the great Samantabhadra Bodhisattva." The white elephant does not make a human form, but an elephant form. Just go north.
Seeing this, everyone present put their hands together and said: "Namo Amitabha, Namo Samantabhadra Bodhisattva." At this time, the soul of the green lion also became clear for a moment. Seeing the white elephant like this, his heart was about to burst. He shouted: "I have sinned! I have sinned so much!" After a moment, the green lion spirit completely dissipated in the three realms, without causing any further trouble.
"Since fellow Taoist disciples are here, why don't you show up to see him." Fahai looked into the void and saw a slight ripple in the void, revealing the shape of a human being, none other than Sai Taisui.
Sai Taisui's expression was a little complicated. After seeing the white elephant that day, he had already guessed the outcome today. Now that he saw the two senior brothers being saved by Master Tripitaka's Buddha's flame, he was so sad that he had no intention of greeting him and just said One sentence: "I have come to see off my two senior brothers. I wonder if I can return the senior brothers' bodies and belongings to their sect?"
"There is nothing you can't do." Naturally, no one could stop this.
"Thank you." Sai Taisui bowed his hands to everyone, put away a spear and a big knife that fell on the ground, and even the body of the blue lion, and went directly to the east.
The fact that "Jin Guangxian" wants to go to Jin'ao Island has nothing to do with the people present. After the souls of the green lion and the white elephant were saved, Fahai focused on saving the resentful spirits in Shituoling. Then the Peacock King Ming also recited scriptures to help Master Tripitaka.
The salvation matters here in Shituo Ridge were almost done, and everyone hurried to Shituo City. There are more dead souls in Shituo City, and salvation is a big project. Wu Jing has always maintained the differentiation of nine spirits to improve efficiency.
Xiao Bailong stayed in Shituoling. Yang Jian asked Meishan Lao Liu to lead the heavenly soldiers to cooperate with the white-collar workers to train the ordinary little demons in Shituoling. Xiaobailong and his second master's brother-in-law, and besides, it was the second master's personal orders. Meishan Laoliu naturally cooperated fully.
Therefore, White Dragon Bodhisattva gained another wave of little demon faith. Whether it is the Lion and Camel Ridge or the Lion and Camel Kingdom, there are many things waiting to be done.
Naturally, Fahai would not just leave behind a mess, and they would still have to take responsibility for the task of reconstruction.
In addition to the heavenly soldiers dispatched by Erlang Shen, Princess Peacock also came with her own clansmen and subordinates to help. Perhaps some elders of the Peacock clan were originally reluctant, but when they saw that King Peacock Ming was also here, they were naturally reluctant. They didn't complain at all, and they all tried their best to show off in front of their ancestors.
The Peacock King Bodhisattva did not care about this... Instead, she felt that the Peacock Princess, who often leaned close to Master Tripitaka, might need to undergo some mental experience.
The Peacock Daming King Bodhisattva, who saw Master Tripitaka in person for the first time, became more and more interested in Master Tripitaka... She originally came to Shituoling for two purposes. The first one has been completed, and the second one is... I would like to meet this Master Tripitaka who has caused trouble many times in the Three Realms.
But now, it seems that this is no longer necessary. When it comes to divine channeling skills, King Peacock Daming is confident that he can conquer Master Tripitaka, but when it comes to Buddhist cultivation, even she has to be defeated... Moreover, she can see that Master Tripitaka has great aspirations, and for such a As a figure, Peacock Daming King Bodhisattva is still somewhat respected.
Although she is not a pure Buddhist disciple, she even dislikes those in Lingshan.
If all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who are "pious in appearance" are truly virtuous like Guanyin, Ksitigarbha and Tripitaka, who in the three realms would not be able to say goodbye?
"admire"? Let’s not mention these details for now. Shituoling ended with the destruction of the demons. Although we did not see the scene of the Peacock King fighting Tripitaka, it seemed that the spiritual elephant that appeared when the white elephant was transcended was even more interesting.
Many gods and Buddhas have even secretly gone to Baoxiang Kingdom, wanting to explore the wonders within it. I thought it might be a means of escaping from the flames of the Great Sun Buddha.
In this regard, neither the Jade Emperor in Heaven nor the Buddha in Lingshan have any intention to stop it... Regardless of the heart, if they really want to learn
"Lingtus Elephant Buddha" protects one side, which is actually a blessing to all living beings in the three realms. Of course, if they go too far and ignore all sentient beings and only seek incense, the Justice Lord of Heaven or the Discipline Master of Lingshan will naturally come to punish them... Even if they don't come, if they wait for Master Tripitaka to come, they will be punished. When the Buddha's flames refine the heart, I'm afraid it will also end in the same way.
Learned from Master Tripitaka
Regarding the "spiritual elephant Buddha" incident, Peacock King Ming also lamented that fate was playing tricks on people, and said to Master Tripitaka: "If that little elephant knew what happened today, it would probably be another setback."
"The poor monk devotes himself to teaching Buddhism." Master Tripitaka said to King Maurya: "Just as Bai Xiang said before his death, although the body dies, the path is not completed. Enlightenment may be based on Bai Xiang's expectations, or it may be based on one's own heart. Okay...but no matter what, I can't get around the poor monk."
"It is difficult for Buddhism to cross the mortal world." King Peacock Daming shook his head and said to Master Tripitaka: "Especially the grievances and hatreds... Fortunately, there are spiritual images that can be transformed into the human body, which may be able to change things."
"So the Bodhisattva invited the Great Sun Tathagata to take action and use the Great Sun Buddha's flames to save the great roc?" Yang Jian on the side asked curiously.
King Peacock Daming did not hide anything, and only asked Yang Jian: "If I hadn't taken action and caused Dapeng to die at the hands of Tripitaka, would we be able to sit down and discuss the truth now?"
"It is said that those who enter the ascetic world, end the world of mortals, and become monks... From my perspective, the Dharma master and the Bodhisattva do not look like serious monks." Fahai laughed and said, "How can ordinary people become monks?" Everyone laughed when they heard this. Master Tripitaka’s words, in vernacular, are: Who among normal people can become a monk?
Yang Jian also thought about it carefully and said that these monks in front of him seemed not to be serious.
"Normal people". Master Tripitaka did not mention the reincarnation of Jin Chan, but only said that he suffered a disaster when he was young and was raised by Buddhism, so he was born into Buddhism. King Peacock Daming became a monk for the first time and was captured by the saint Zhunti. The first time he wanted to return to secular life, he was defeated by the Tathagata Buddha. When the great sage became a monk, he was pressed by the Buddha at the foot of the Five Elements Mountain. He got the guidance of the Bodhisattva and worshiped under the disciples of Master Sanzang before he escaped... Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing also had their own problems. There are various reasons.
It's a pity that after falling into the mortal world, Marshal Tianpeng and General Curtain Curtain were blinded, and evil thoughts arose, and they committed cannibalism for five hundred years.
Fortunately, Zhu Bajie inherited the inheritance of Marshal Tianpeng, and General Shutter was also purified by the Bodhisattva, and re-entered reincarnation... which can be regarded as a reincarnation of cause and effect.
Now that Yang Jian is in charge of the laws of heaven, he realizes that sitting in this position is far from as simple as he imagined. It is said that one person is below ten thousand people, but in reality?
Many things are beyond your control. The more you know, the more cautious you will be. But the more this happens, the more fortunate Yang Jian is. Fortunately, the Jade Emperor has a keen eye for people. If the position of the judicial god of the three realms is really handed over to others, Yang Jian will really not be relieved.
He didn't want to do it in the past... Now even the Jade Emperor can't think of driving him out of this position.
Yang Jian was not idle either. After the aftermath of the affairs between Shituo Kingdom and Shituoling had basically come to an end, he made a special trip to Tushita Palace and asked Laojun for advice on the Taoist salvation method, which was called "The Supreme Lord Saves the Lord". The Sutra of Bitterness.
The world of mortals is troubled. But true monks are never afraid of the mortal world. If they are not in the mortal world, how can they save all sentient beings? The Great Peacock thought that what Master Tripitaka said was reasonable, and she was ready to go into the world of mortals... He was not very interested in Hinayana Buddhism, and he didn't care whether he could become a Buddha or not.
But after a discussion with Master Tripitaka, I just wanted to truly understand the Mahayana Bodhisattva path. The Peacock King Ming left Xizhou and went straight to Nanzhou... She planned to revisit her old place, first to Jinji Ridge, and then to Sanshanguan.
She didn't go alone, she took Princess Peacock with her. Now that the Three Realms are troubled, it would be harmful and useless to let this girl stay in Xizhou.
Even though this girl kept chattering on the road, all she talked about was Master Tripitaka... However, King Peacock Ming did not feel bored, and sometimes even took Princess Peacock there when he got interested.
Look at the truth at the "place where the incident occurred"... For example, I went to the Xiliang Women's Kingdom and found that the Queen of Xiliang gave birth to a daughter and was already raising her as a crown princess.
And she herself was preparing to ascend to the throne and embark on the path of spiritual practice. Princess Peacock suddenly felt a sense of urgency, but her ancestor was by her side. She asked for advice: "Ancestor, didn't you say that Renjun can't practice?"
"Human monarchs cannot practice Tao, so they cannot live forever... It's not that they can't practice. If they inherit the martial arts of the human race, they will also have the power to fight immortals and Buddhas." Peacock King Ming sighed lightly when he saw this,
"In addition, if you enter Buddhism, you will be considered a monk, and if you become a monk, you will end the mortal world. I have seen many country leaders in Xizhou dedicate a country to Buddhism in order to seek immortality, and they can obtain Arhat fruit."
"There is a saying in the human race that rules are dead but people are alive...so they can often find loopholes under the radius." Hearing this, the Peacock Princess shouted for insight and subconsciously wanted to ask if there was anything that could be done. There was a loophole that allowed the monk to get married...but he was afraid that his ancestor would slap him to death, so he held it back.
